((@Shi - We've just been clearing away the rocks and mud from the landslide so we can get through, and a few of us who've been working are now stopping for a break. X3)) Fin blinked in surprise as she heard her name. Turning to where the sound had come from, she noticed the two other trainers, both her wagon-mates. "Oh, hello," she replied, walking towards them. "Zen, right? And Jen." She smiled as she sat down beside them, placing Caddie in her lap and her vest and boots beside her. "What are you talking about?"((One hundredth post, whee~! X3))

Adele walked over to the fire and started to dry his hair off. "So, what do your parents do?" He tried to strike conversation.

Kira paused her cooking for a bit, taken by surprise by Adele's question. She stayed silent for a while, cooking, then, when as she was dishing them out, she gave a sigh, settling next to Adele and offering him a plate. "My mom's a retired scientist, she used to study Pokemon Psychology.... my father passed away when I was five." She gave Adele a small smiled. "How about your family? What are they like?"

"Yup. Zen's the name, breeding's the game." He said, laughing at his own unintended rhyme.
"Oh, we were just discussing which pokemon we would be, and now Jen's about to tell us what pokemon she could capture if she could capture any pokemon in the world." Zen rambled, pointing to Jen.
"Oh, but before that, which pokemon would you be, Fin?" He inquired, wanting to get to know his wagon mate.

"Hm, interesting question," Fin murmured, half to herself, scratching a dozing Caddie behind the ear-tufts. "What Pokémon would I be… I think I'd have to go with Skarmory. I like flying types in general, and Skarmory are elegant, but also quite tough, being steel type as well." She nodded, grinning.

Adele tilted his head. " I am sorry to hear that...." He smiled slightly before sighing. "My dad is rich, I am not sure how....I think he owns part of the industry that makes pokeballs....He is also a arcanine breeder and a contest judge." He chuckled a bit before going silent. "My mom left us when I was nine months old...we never heard from her."

"Ah, Skarmory. That would be pretty great. Flying in the sky, knowing that hardly anything could bring you down. What a great feeling that would be." Zen sighed happily, leaning againsts the wagon wall again.
"So, Fin, what do you do for a living?"

Kira blinked, not expecting someone else to know what it was like to grow up without a parent. Carefully, Kira took his hand, smiling warmly to him. "We have a lot in common then with at-home life, it seems...." She finished her food, happy that it came out tasting alright.

"Yep," Fin agreed, smiling. "A great feeling. I don't really have a real job," she continued. "I just take on whatever odd jobs like this I can find, to have something to contribute to the bills at home. I guess you could say I'm also a casual sort of trainer, though once I get more Pokémon than Caddie here I guess I'd like to compete in tournaments and the like, maybe earn some money from that as well." She stroked her Delibird's feathers affectionately. She'd have to train Caddie up a bit if she ever wanted to try real battling. The Delibird might know a few moves, but she was hardly in shape.

Kira smiled and placed her empty plate down, curling into Adele. "If you're not going to be working through the night... can I sleep with you?" She hadn't meant anything other than innocently cuddling up to him, but she couldn't help it that he was so warm and comfy to be around.

"Ah, you're a trainer then. I see." Zen nodded knowingly, giving Fin a smile. "Like I said before, I'm a breeder. Not a good one at that." He gave a small chuckle. "I mostly just baby sit the pokemon for people in Katriana. I've only done an actual breeding once on my own. But...certain people would bite my head off if the found out." He chuckled nervously, fingering Armageddon's pokeball.

Fin chuckled along with Zen. "Well, that sounds like fun, all the same. Baby-sitting Pokémon, I mean. Do you—Oh." She was cut off by a huge yawn erupting from her mouth. "I am so sorry," she said to Zen, covering her open mouth. "I think I'm going to have to go back to the wagon and get some sleep now. Big day tomorrow. I'd love to talk to you again later, though, provided we live through taking down the Rockets." She smiled ruefully, and tiredly.

"Definitely." Zen nodded in agreement to talking tomorrow. "Well, sleep well. And pummel some rockets in your dreams." He said, yawning himeslf. "Mmm...time for me to hit the hay too."

"I do hope I get to pummel the dream-Rockets, and not the other way around," Fin laughed. She waved goodbye to Zen, then returned to wagon two.
When Fin placed Caddie on the floor of the wagon, the Delibird immediately returned to preening herself. Her trainer grinned, then yawned hugely once again. Wow, she really was tired. Today had rivaled yesterday in terms of busyness and stress, and quite probably had passed it. Tomorrow was sure to be worse yet – with luck, they would get through the rockslide blocking the mine's entrance, and then they'd be up against Team Rocket.
The Rockets had probably gotten started on some part of whatever diabolical scheme they were planning, so in addition to the Rockets themselves, the caravan might have to face some sort of horrible creation of theirs, perhaps even Pokémon they'd mutated and bent to their will. Fin shuddered at the thought, hoping against hope that no Pokémon had been harmed past a chance of recovery. She yawned again. Great Lugia, she really did need to get to sleep if she wanted to be ready for whatever tomorrow might bring.
Caddie was still preening her feathers, but beginning again to droop with fatigue. Fin crawled into her sleeping bag, and the Delibird, finishing with her beauty routine, waddled in to curl up against her trainer's belly. Fin ran a hand lazily over her Pokémon's head, and, with a final yawn, fell asleep.
