Sage looked to Seph, " good to hear. Aim a concentrated blast for directly between it's eye sockets. or, if you can, try to aim an explosive ball into the eye sockets so that the head is destroyed. While you do this, I'll taunt it away from the kitchen."
As he spoke, Sage moved over into the main room, he stood in front of the main doors, on the other side of the room. As the Demon pushed open the doors, Sage's floating mass of ectoplasm wrapped around him. By the time the Demon roared again, Sage seemed to be covered in a strange, translucent blue film.

The demon's roar startles Irianna into spreading her great white wings. Tendrils of chakra work their way into the feathered appendages. She believes Seph and Sage very capable of taking care of the demon, but if something goes wrong, Irianna will bring her wings forward and sling chakra in its direction. The chakra will attract a gust of air and hopefully slam into the target. Irianna has no idea if her wind defenses would hold up against the thing, but she is prepared to try.
(( The name of your element is very amusing, Seph. Reminds me of some of the jokes my non-Gaian friends and I like to make. ))

Seph blinked, then nodded. "I can one-up you. How does an explosion at point-blank sound?" Seph smiled and moved to the main room behind Sage.
Why are we getting involved?
Oh, so it's 'we,' now? 'We' are getting involved because it's what Sephiroth would do.
Seph held his hand out in front of him, waiting for Sage's cue to signal his attack.

Sage shook his head and grinned, " Hey Demon...your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of Elderberries! I fart in your general Direction!"
As he spoke, Sage turned around and wiggled his a** at the demon, taunting it by slapping his own butt and saying more rude comments. These comments however were drowned out as the Demon surged forth, it's gaze locked on Sage. As it began to move, Sage looked up to seph and said, " Now!"
((note: seph's attack would kill the beast. it would also cause the room to get coated in a large spattering of black goo, instead of causing the hollow to actually dissipate as it normally does.))

Seph nodded, releasing the tension between his thumb and middle finger. The instant after the sound of the snap, and explosion rocked the dojo, focused right in front of the demon's face, and direction the blast away from the dojo. Before the black goo could reach him, he waved his hand, throwing up a wall of fire ahead of himself, effectively keeping the goop at bay.

As the Demon's remains slumped to the ground, Sage looked at the end result. As he looked, the flim around him began to dissipate. "Well then...that killed it pretty good...now we just need to collect the ectoplasm up in a jar and take that to a holy person to have it purified or blessed. That should cleanse the remains so they can be shaped without tainting what they're turned into."

From her relatively safe position in front of the kitchen door, Irianna watches Seph's attack with awe. Then she can only stand in horror and keep her eyes and mouth firmly shut as she is splattered with black goo.
The chakra leaks from her wings and back into her body. Irianna opens her eyes and walks into the room to stand with Seph and Sage. Her eyes are narrowed in disgust. "I don't care what we do with the stuff, as long as it washes off. I seriously need a bath..."

Seph blinked, then yawned and made his way back into the kitchen. He was clean. "I'm going to put the rest of the groceries away."

Sage nodded, and walked over to Iri, " if you need any help cleaning out your wings, just ask. but I can probably get the majority of it if you dont move."
As he spoke, Sage went into the kitchen and took the large bowl that had once housed pudding. He brought this into the main room, and held his hands out towards Iri, palms open and fingers spread. "Now this may tickle a bit, but it will get most of the stuff off of you..."

Nyl landed at the front door, her wings disappearing before she pulled the door open and stepped inside. She frowned, eyes narrowing at those inside.
"What in the name of all that is sacred is going on here?"

Iri eyes Sage's hands suspiciously. She is not looking forward to cleaning this stuff off herself. Then again, she isn't sure if she likes whatever Sage might have in mind. Eventually, though, she spreads her wings wide and gives him a defeated look. "Right then. Just get this stuff off of me, please!"

Seph froze.
She's here! She's HERE! Run! Get out! Go!
You really don't understand what it means to be suspicious, do you? I've got this under control, if you blow it, there will be no chance of spreading yourself to new hosts.
Seph decided to remain quiet, pulling cans and other unperishables from plastic bags and placing said cans into cupboards.

Ignoring nyl for a few moments, Sage spins around, as he moves, the black goo remains slowly lift off of what they are covering, The leave no traces, except on a few of iri's feathers where the goo got stuck. As he spins, Sage stops moving his feet around, instead rolling his torso. His arms are pointing straight out, and his hands are still opened with the fingers wide. As he rolls, the goo whirls around him and coagulates above him into a single mass. As his rolling comes to a stop, the mass floats there above him for a few moments. After taking a few deep breaths, Sage closes his hands...And the mass above him compresses into a large black sphere...then it compresses further into a black crystal sphere. As Sage lowers his hands, the sphere lowers into the bowl, just barely fitting.
After this, Sage lets out a sigh of relief and looks to nyl, sweat running down his brow. " um...well, you see....hey! how have you been? it's been a long time hmm?"

Nyl did not lose her frown or hard gaze.
"It has been. You can forget the explanation. I have a distinct feeling I do not want to hear it, after all." She stared coldly at him. "However, do not believe you have talked yourself out of whatever this mess is so easily."
She turned to the girl, whom she did not recognize. "I'm sorry, but if we've met before I can't seem to remember it. I'm Nyl."
