Bro keeps telling me it's no big deal and that I'll be fine, but that's because he's not the one feeling like he's about to die every 30 seconds when his heartbeat goes nuts for no apparent reason.
Tues should be the worst of it. After that, I SHOULD be feeling better because after the procedure, I can have stuff again.

Are you taking nitroglycerin? And no, nitro is not harmful to the body. And yes, it is the same that goes boom.
Great blood thinner.

Great blood thinner, often given to people who are at a high risk of hypercholestema (sp), or basically high cholesterol, and also have suffered heart attacks. Its rarely given outside a hospital though, I believe. I'm not an MD yet, so I'm not sure on its classification when it comes to Drug Prescriptions..

what? the fact that I had a needle the thickness of a pencil in my arm draining a full pint of my blood? or the fact I was doing a good deed to aid the red cross?

I don't give a damn about blood donations... Half the time I have low Iron anyways, and its invalid.
And I have AB-, the "liquid gold".

see, the giving a damn part is why only a very small number of people donate blood. no one gives a damn.

I don't give a damn because I donate time instead of blood. I work at both a hospital and a vet clinic, so I do my part. Just not with blood, due to bodily anomalies.

Reminds me of this girl I know who waned to give blood just so that she knew her bloodtype but couldn't because she weighed nintey eight pounds. I keep telling her to eat more but she says she gets ill if she eats three meals a day. poor skinny thing.

Yea, you need to weigh a certain percentage before giving blood. otherwise you won't have enough in you to keep you concious.
I think they start at 110 pounds minimum.
