**Cat felt the fix 'em bump into her foot and looked down smiling gently at the hairpin. She picked it up and fixed it into her long hair, getting up to give Myth a kiss between the ears. "You spoil me, you know that? It's beautiful. Thank you. *strokes her hands down his face and muzzle, getting him a quick snuggle before returning to the fire, pulling her chair closer. She took a pinch of something glittery from a pouch and threw it into the flames. They burst upward and outward, licking her fur and wrapping tendrils around her legs like a live thing. She demanded " Show me the first!!" The fire responded by flaring a bright blue. She demanded again " The second! What is the second?" The fire again responded, flaring a deep purplish black. " And the third?" The fire responded this time with a brilliant emerald green. " *Cat nodded and muttered something, and the flames unwound from her legs, leaving them unblemished, and settled back into a a regular fire. She turns to regard Myth* Myth, What do you know of basilisks? And what do you think of them? How do they compare to dragons? **
