((Because I don't want this post to be long, This is part 1 of 2. The other half will be posted tomorrow most likely. Enjoy!)) [Dani :: Atlantica ::Front lines>>Dark Army]
Dani continued her onslaught of water magic on the dark army in front of her. She also threw in her chakrams in order to spice things up a bit so that the enemy did not catch on to her plans. With the sirens singing and Jenny's haste she felt more powerful than she ever had before. "I need to keep going" Dani thought and made another wave push a line of enemies back.
Her newfound power however was short lived as Dani suddenly felt water grip onto her stomach and mouth. The grip had the intention of immobilizing the assassin and silencing her from calling out. "What is happening?!" Dani screamed in her head and tried to scream to the others. Due to her mouth being covered, however, there were only small muffled noises that no one could possibly hear. Dani then felt herself being dragged into the massive dark army and struggled against the grip on her but to no avail. Soon her vision faded to black as all she could see were heartless and geists around her but not actually touching her. In fact, the heartless and geists paid her no mind until Dani was pulled harshly into the middle of the army, unable to be seen by the others.
"Well that was easy," A voice commented from the other side of the army.
"SHOW YOURSELF!" Dani shouted holding her chakrams out in defense.
The being complied and before Dani stood a mermaid wearing a black hoodie that was not zippered up. The tail of the mermaid was also a koi but was much darker then Dani's koi tail. "Now aren't you a rude one," The mermaid commented keeping her face hidden by the hood. "You are already making demands when I was the one who pulled you in here. I could always throw you back into the fray of Heartless and Geists to watch you die."
"Just who are you?" Dani asked exasperated.
The mermaid chuckled lightly before taking off her hood slowly and letting her long brown hair fall down her back. The mermaid then used two fingers to push up her glasses which had fallen off of her face. If the earthling didn't know any better she felt like she would be looking into a mirror. "Hello there, my name is Ashley and you are going to be my little plaything for a bit."

"Messing with your head?" Ajora asked, turning toward the Melodious Nocturne and raising a brow. "Do you not want to help them? I mean, if so, I'll leave you be."
He turned back down to watch Riku slash clear through a number of Neoshadows. "I'm merely suggesting that you use this position of invulnerability to help your friends. The only person who could stop you is me, and if I wanted to do that, why waste my time trying to convince you to help them anyway?"

"See, you're doing it again!" Demyx insisted, with a little more life this time. "You're supposed to be the bad guy here, right? So, if you're telling me to help my friends, you must have some plan to use me somehow. I'm not stupid."

Ajora released a small laugh under his breath, shaking his head.
"Not quite, but credit for the flattery," he mused, keeping his eyes on below. "You saw how I easily I danced around the group in Hawaii. And if they haven't told you yet, you should know I also have the ability to completely shut down their magic, as I did so earlier, which is how I captured James to begin with. I had them locked up, powerless."
"So, riddle me this, Nocture," he said, watching as Dawn released a more offensive blast. "With all that in mind, and the ability to look at things without emotion, tell me why I haven't killed them if I so intended."

"I dunno. Enjoy the challenge or something?" Demyx guessed with a flippant shrug. "Have future plans for them? You seem like a manipulative guy. I wouldn't be surprised if you're using them as pawns in some sort of grand scheme."
He spared a glance for the battlefield, and it seemed the kids were doing okay. No one had died or sustained serious injury yet, anyway.

"And so, armed with that suspicion, you have three options," he responded, never actually admitting or denying the accusation.
"First, help keep the good guys alive and play into what may or may not be my plans," he explained, lifting his index finger to signify the number one. He would add a second and third finger with each following option. "Second, kill them, ruining any future good they may do while simultaneously preventing what may or may not be my plans."
"Or third," he began, lifting the third finger. "Continue to do nothing and earn their suspicion or, at the very least, irritation at your refusal to actually be of any aid, which may end up costing you whatever you've gained by allying with them. The choice is yours."

Demyx stared at Ajora, his mind working furiously. The guy seriously had to have some sort of ulterior motive here. Of the "options" listed, the third sounded ideal. It required no fighting, and he was used to people being annoyed with him. He doubted the kids would be suspicious; they hadn't missed him at all in the fight last night. The second wasn't even remotely an option. Demyx needed Kyla to flesh out her theories about heart restoration and whatnot. The first, well, it would be best for earning their gratitude and future protection and aid, but he had most of that already. Really, two out of three wasn't bad, and gratitude wasn't high on his list of priorities.
But, if Ajora was as much of a manipulative git as Demyx suspected, and combined with the replica's apparent access to some sort of communication thingy that supposedly only the Earth kids were supposed to have (he remembered them freaking out about it on the beach), if Demyx sat this one out, that could spell trouble if Ajora decided to rat him out and raise suspicion himself.
"You're really lucky I'm incapable of hating you," the Nobody said coolly, and turned back to the battle at hand. He brought Arpeggio up, and started spouting Geysers across the deck of the Pearl.

[Alice :: ??? :: Underground Caverns]Alice followed silently, bringing up the rear as Alys floated serenely about the animator. Alice had willingly followed along, even knowing that the merciless waters surrounded her. But there was no need to be out on the battlefield; something about the ocean that unnerved her, though she kept her expression strictly schooled. Already not one to chatter, no one would notice her silence now. She was only glad to have her two feet planted on solid ground.
----
Waters rushed back and forth, the tide pulling and pushing as the sun cast warm glows onto the surface. It looked mesmerizing; if it weren't for the deep, profound loneliness she felt. What would have been the calming sounds of the tides instead spelled her own doom as she watched the shore shrink as she was pushed farther out.
"You abandoned me... like all your problems, pushed them away as sure as the tide."
---- Alice frowned ever so slightly as her fingers absently brushed the cheek of her doll. She had no love for the vast expanse of water that so many admired; yes, there was no need to be out in the battle. Her frown hardened into a cold stare as she shook the memory away and continued onward, making up for whatever gap had widened in their formation.

[Isolde :: Caribbean :: Black Pearl]
No one would have been paying any mind to shadows moving along the ground, especially as waters splashed on deck as the turbulent waters tossed the ship and the haze of ocean spray prickled the skin of all aboard. Instead, what they would have felt was a cold chill rushing past, causing water droplets to freeze up and their exhaled breath appear foggy. The temperature aboard the ship dropped, and even though the ocean waters were cold, this was far too cold.
She moved like a wraith, sinking into the deck and rising again, unnoticed in the chaos that had ensued.

{Kyle : Atlantica : Battlefield}
There wasn't much time to answer Dani when she asked if they would be alright, what with the sudden earthquake, and frankly he didn't have it in him to reassure her. When the shaking started, he planted his tail on the ground and activated Tracing the Steps, but turned it off quickly when he saw the spire appear. He couldn't afford to worry about that now. I really hope that was just an earthquake. That would be lovely. And not the beginning of something really bad. Did he have reason to believe that it was the work of evil? No. Were his nerves shot to hell? Yes. Very much so.
From his vantage point on the sea floor, he couldn't get a good grasp of what was happening to the other Kyle, but judging from everything that started happening at once, he figured things might be going south. Thankfully, the cannon-things were taking care of the smaller enemies, and the yelling was helping too. Seeing Noelle taking care of the larger boulders, he reached down to the ground and formed large spikes, which he started sending up into the masses, where the army had yet to reach. With luck he could take a fair few out before they got into range.
{Valmar : Under the Sea : Edge of the Battlefield -> Battlefield}
Valmar had been swimming peacefully when the noises started. Loud, obnoxious yelling. His peaceful mood shattered instantly and he swam higher, watching from behind the lines. That was when he noticed something that further served to foul his mood. Some of the boulders that were being launched by the things in their army were getting sent back. Maybe it was his original. Maybe not. But it didn't matter. "Now that won't do. I won't share with anyone. The earth is MINE!" He roared as swam forward. He stopped halfway between the front line and the edge, planted nicely in the middle of the army. Any boulders that were reflected were caught and sent back once more, like a game of catch. But this time there would be a twist. Every boulder that he caught and sent back would shatter into multiple shards when they reached the front line. Would it kill his own troops? Of course, but they could always make more.

{Kuro Oni ; James ; Alex : Caribbean : Black Pearl}
He hadn't expected a response from the enigmatic genome. Nor had he exactly anticipated that Kuja would be able to not only dodge but reverse his own attack right at him. He dodged the first six of them before Dawn's Aerial Blast knocked him out of the way of the last of the energy blades. He managed to land on his feet despite the sudden knock back. He had no time to catch a breather though as geysers of water erupted across the deck forcing him to dodge them.James on the other hand was not so lucky, the knock back sent the corsair crashing down to the deck below, his head pounding on the wooden planks. He laid there stunned for a moment as water splashed onto his body from the geysers. When the corsair's eyes opened again, his eyes still glowed golden, but his expression was not blank. There was a sign of pain and bewilderment in his eyes. Had the bump on the head somehow managed to break Ajora's control over him? "What's going on...?" he muttered under his breath. His eyes snapped open as he heard the sounds of battle and a raging storm all around him. He looked around to come to the realization that he was on the deck of the Black Pearl and quickly realized that this was the final battle against Davy Jones and the EITC. As he slowly sat up he winced slightly as he felt an ache in his chest. However he ignored it, he was frustrated and angry with himself and what had happened to him aboard the Dutchman. He had no idea what had been revealed because he had been captured by Ajora. {{Cue: Controlling the Iron Beast}} His eyes scanned the battlefield and locked onto Kuro Oni, the last thing he normally would have wanted to see. However, right now he wanted to give his replica hell for what he had done. "Kuro Oni!" he yelled as he suddenly went into a dash to close the distance between himself and his replica. "I'll kill you!" As his "Dash" closed in the distance the corsair shot past Kuro Oni, attempting to claw at him as he went by. He then quickly changed his direction and dashed in again in a Savage Charge. Kuro had been focused on keeping his eye out for any more attacks from Kuja as well as knocking aside any other opponents that chose to get in his way. As such, he hadn't realized that James had gotten up until he heard his yell. If he was surprised by the sudden change in James, he barely showed it. However, the sudden turn of events had left him stunned as he took the first couple of blows. His mind reeling as he was knocked around a bit despite him putting up his arms to protect himself.
'What is going on!? Did Ajora somehow lose control?' he thought, completely and utterly confused by the situation.
Looking into the corsair's eyes, he could see that darkness still remained prevalent. So he didn't understand how he could be in control again. The dark gunner had gotten a little beat up from the charge. However, it didn't seem to bother him one bit.
"I am not sure how you've regained control. However, I see you still haven't changed. You claim you'll kill me, but you haven't been able to yet," The Nightmare Dreadnought stated with a laugh.

[Axel: Black Pearl: Deck]
WHAM!
“ What the-?!”
WHAP!
“Son-of-a-B--” THWACK!
THERE he is!
For a few good solid hits the redhead was nothing but a staggering target for the wind user across on the other ship and he would have stayed that way had he not finally got his bearing again. It really did catch him off guard for a bit, wind being-well- wind! Pretty fast, and with the entire cross fire already being exchanged he didn’t get much of a heads up until he got smacked a few times. Even it’s slight luminescence seemed miniscule compared to the entire light showed going off around him as people exchanged blows in close quarters.
Just when he thought he could keep the zombie James and the two new faces company the pesky replica of the bow user no doubt was making target practice out of him. Made sense in his head too, he was after all one of the most brightly colored people there if you ignored the blonds. Besides, all the more colorful people were below the surface of the ocean whirlpool.
“ -So that’s how it is huh?! Well fine then!” He jumped up one of the masts and taking aim where he was last shot from and launched one chakram into the air and it spiraled across the open air, fray and foam on a direct course with Azreals noggin! With any luck it’s hit the mark, if not, that’s where his other one came in-
-which he threw in the opposite direction.
If there was one thing he loved most about his weapons, it was that they didn’t have to be boomerangs to come back around like a case of bad karma.

[Kyla: Atlantica: Above the Battle Field]
With Kyle blasting away with his lazers, the rain of ice arrows, the geysers and the defensive spiking- Kyla focused on trying to weaken the most advanced armory of the geist task force. First thing she decided to target was the mage equivalents, the Kinetics. Noelle and Prote mentioned it would be best to try and MAKE them use their powers, because once they ran out of juice the creatures would vanish right?
“Let’s give them something to shoot at.”
With Haste in place she was able to create something to keep them busy quite quickly. From the water-skyline where she observed the battle field, Kyla selected the largest groupings of Kinetic Geists and attacked with swords which plummeted and soared towards them like seeker missiles! Their sharpen edges glinted and they created streams of bubbles in their wake as they slashed at the creatures hoping to draw their fire, or cut them to ribbons.
At the very least they would draw their fire and force them to attack just by the sheer threat they supposedly posed.

{Bobbi .:. Atlantica .:. Above Battlefield} As Hailstorm pelted the battlefield, Bobbi was relieved to see that none of the allied troops were hit. She managed to wipe out a good swath of small-time Heartless and a couple Geists that had already been pummeled by the others, but it wasn't more than a little dent in the scope of the dark army. "b*****d son of a bandersnatch and a nargle painted blue with pink stripes on a--" Bobbi swore, and cut off as she fired an ice arrow at one of the Djinn Geists. :Kyla! How's Ice Spirit holding? I dunno how long it lasts,: Bobbi sent over charms as she scoped the field again. It looked like the Atlantican army was holding up, but they were still grossly outnumbered. As she waited for an answer--even as she asked the question in the first place--Bobbi slung Taulmaril over her shoulder and gestured with her hands. The gestures were just something to help her concentrate, and Crystal Spires erupted across the battlefield, skewering some enemies and knocking others around.I love this spell.~✧~✧~✧~✧~✧~ {Demyx .:. Black Pearl .:. Crow's Nest}
Demyx saw James get knocked around like a rag doll by a blast from Dawn. He wasn't exactly prepared to see the complete one-eighty the kid did. First he was attacking the Earthlings, now he's attacking the big ugly replica who looks just like him?
Wonder what changed his mind. Eh, might as well help him out, the Nobody thought, and summoned a few Water Clones. As soon as three of them were manifest, he sent them after Kuro Oni, and returned to spouting Geysers and knocking around anyone he didn't recognize.
The three clones split up, one rushing Kuro Oni head-on, the others circling around to his sides in a pincer maneuver. As they got close, the clones raised their weapons and attacked.

[Noelle ~ Atlantica ~ Battlefield]
Noelle kept returning fire on the Kinetics, and with her and Kyla’s combined efforts, the Kinetics were starting to dwindle in number. This was little relief, however, because the stronger Geists were starting to advance on the battlefield. Noelle glanced around, happy to see that the Atlanticean army was doing well against the Djinns. The Shades were a little tougher, though, so she’d have to keep an eye out for the merfolk once they reached the front lines. The agromancer focused back on the Kinetic fire, moving to redirect the stones and boulders into oncoming Heartless and Geists. They wouldn’t move at her command. Noelle frowned, trying again, but to no avail. A flash of panic took over her. What was going on? Her magic was still active--she could feel it coursing through her. The only way she couldn’t move the earth was unless it was already under the control of another magic user. Nobody but Kyle M. and herself had control over earth, and he certainly wasn’t attacking their own. The best Noelle could do was try and intercept them. Things quickly became more difficult, though. As they neared and Noelle prepared, the boulders burst into shards that started raining down on the army. In a stroke of quick thinking, the small blonde pulled up sheets of sand and swiped the particles through the water. The sand took care of a lot of the shards, but couldn’t wipe them all out. Her skin stung as the sharp pieces cut into and past her.
’Kyle!’ Noelle sent an urgent message to her fellow earth user over the charms, ’There’s another terramancer on the field. It’s too dense to see right now, so it’s either your replica or mine. We need to fish them out and deal with them or they’ll take out a chunk of our forces.’
Noelle swam forward, taking out Heartless and Djinn with her spear in attempts to preserve her magic. She was taking a few hits, but they did little to slow her down. Adrenaline was pumping through her by now, taking the edge off and driving her forward. Prote was right when he said that the Shades were few and far between. She had yet to run into one, though she could see them whisping around up ahead. Grimms were even fewer. But, as Murphy’s Law dictated, she found the one that was within the one square mile of her. Trouble was a friend.
She paged Kyle again, ’On second thought, -you- find them. I’ll work on not dying. Tell me when you’ve found our target, I’ll come when I can. I gotta Tango with a Grimm.’
”Hey Prote!” Noelle called out in hopes of gaining his assistance, glancing over to the friendly Geist a level below her, ”I’ve got a present for ya!”
Meanwhile, Shades were starting to find the Earthlings and Atlanticean forces. The battle would certainly get harder before it became easier.
