I read up some glitch about the subforums not showing second pages...and I couldn't find this thread anywhere ><. Now that I've found it again, I hope this will keep it up so that fellow RPers will be able to see it.

Thanks.
Sorry for the mess (if it does any). ))

((Some things as I read. (Yes, I realize I'm breaking my own OCC rule. But I want to make sure everyone sees this-not sure how much people check the OOC thread.

Mitch, I accepted the idea of being able to move like that, but I'd rather not have it at such a long distance as I do feel like that's a bit OP. Also watch about claiming which are the rarest elements, please. ^^;;

And rofl, I'm only on page 23 and I have four people coming to see me. rofl I'm scared to keep reading.

Also, I think we already have more then one lightning elemental in the RP, but either way, there are bound to be more in the city.

Time is starting to get very confusing. XD But I can't think of a good system for managing that. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.

Also, Mei, it might just be me but I'm having a bit of trouble telling which sibling is talking when it's all in one paragraph. XD Could you either possibly split it up a little bit or use different colors? If you don't want to/if it's only me, no worries. I can usually figure it out. Just takes a second read sometimes.

...annnnd hellz yeah. I'm caught up! PBut I gotta run to class! >< Will post later today when I'm in the comp lab))

Shania woke with a start. She couldn't believe how late she'd slept and she cursed herself. The room was empty and she was mildly surprised that the others hadn't woken her with their exits. Shania rolled out of her cot and groaned at how warm it was. Wind began to play with her hair, almost subconsciously cooling her down. She stood up, gathered her few things and made her own exit from the room.

No one was around and she knew she couldn't really stick around to seek out the others. The previous night had been a nice break-but she had a lot to do. Shania made her way through the house towards the front door, smoothing her hair down as she did.

It wasn't a long walk to her house. Only ten minutes. Upon reaching there she found her normally clean house to be in quite a mess. Papers were everywhere. But this wasn't unexpected. After all, why should it be any cleaner then when she'd left it?

Shania heaved a sigh and studied the mess of papers. She had been pouring over information, looking at recent outbreaks and mishaps among the elementals. After a moment of trying to remember her bizarre "filing" system she sat herself down and resumed her work.

((>< Sorry, that was kinda rushed. Wanted to post before I had to go to class. Sorry for racing out of the house. I wanted to get Shan to her own home as the other group has been waiting on me for so long!)

((Wow. "no one was there" lol! Vincent and Inanise were there in the entrance xp but I can understand that you rushed it. Anyway, I have an idea for the time thing. How about if we put the exact time of the day on every post, just like in this one?))

"So it's your first time here..." Vincent crossed his arms and leaned by the wall, his back on it, "It looks like I'm not the only stranger in town. If this is your first time outside your home, then you've got a lot of surprises ahead of you. They could be... a little disturbing and hard to cope with at times, but you'll get used to it," he looked at her and countered that shy unsure gaze of hers with a smirk filled confidence at his claim, "Meeting new people and getting to see new places is what makes a journey fun!"

((Oops. I must have misread. I thought Inanise had left/had gone outside. Oh well. >< ))

Inanise continued to look at him tentavely, unsure. Her eyes went towards the direction of that small area with a relatively dense amount of trees. "Do.. you know...where a large group of trees could be located?" she asked shyly, her eyes looking away.

She did not know if that place was called a particular name, only knew that in this large area of buildings, it was the area that had the most trees. She hoped fervently that he knew.

"Why'd you ask?" Vincent raised a brow, slightly bewildered at her question, "Although Laista's sucha big city, its entirety is surrounded with trees, and denser parts of the area is no more than a mile further. Heh... I should know..." Vincent looked down as he rolled his eyes, remembering his journey towards the city, "I could have taken the longer route through crossing the deepest parts of this forest, instead of getting way too hasty and get right through the hot treeless desert path. I was all too confident right there..." Vincent laughed at the humor that was at his own expense, recalling his languish state when entering the city. He still could barely remember that night he got accepted in Aoi's home, but was glad anyway for being able to find a place to rest and regain his strength.

"Ah..." Inanise replied, now knowing the reason as to why he was in such a state when Aoi had met him.

Then, her grey eyes took a knowing look, like one hiding secrets. "There are many paths in the forests, some shorter than that of the path through the desert." she told him, knowing the forests around Laista fairly well, especially since she had grown up there.

Never to have once taken a step within the mentioned city.

Old Inshi did not like city people, and Inanise's eyes saw the carelessness about in which they lived, and understoon Old Inshi's feelings completely.

"I just want to see some trees..." she answered his question finally, looking away towards the direction of that area with a fair amount of trees grouped together, her grey eyes reverting to that soft, shy look. "...that's all."

Nawaru glanced around looking for the perfect place for his carefully planned speech. He wanted some place that he could be easily seen but not reached-and that elementals would not dare try to lay a hand on him.
His eyes lighted upon the large statue that stood in the town square and he smiled with pleasure. It was perfect. A large statue dedicated to all of the elements and the way they flowed together. Nawaru moved his way through the crowd, blue eyes focused on his destination. He did not want to think about all the vile people surrounding him. He knew he'd never been around so many elementals at once.

Finally reaching the statue, Nawaru wrapped one hand around what he took to be a gust of wind. A foot was mounted upon the symbol for earth and he slowly made his way up the large statue before settling down between light and water.

"People of Lumia!" Nawaru balled out. A frown touched his mouth as even this did not draw any attention to the man perched upon their beloved statue. "Listen to me! Those of you who are like me, and have never had the cursed blood of elementals flow through your veins! Join me! Listen to me! It's time we RID this city of this scum!" Nawaru knew how dangerous his words were as he stood in a city filled with elementals. But he was taking advantage of the elementals' fears about using their elements, as well as the scandal that would be caused if they hurt or killed him.

Mitsu looked at her hand a bit surprised. Its been a while that someone offered friendship to him. His face turned back to its blank expression and held her hand.

"Well, I best be off with my friends. It was nice meeting you. Maybe some day we shall meet again." She turned to her companions and said. "Lets go." Smiling back at him Selene waved and said, "Don't start too many more fires!"

She looked to her twin. "Where too now?"

Alexandra was glad when she was able to diffuse the situation. She absolutely hated fighting, and tried to avoid it if at all possible.

Once Selene said good-bye to him, Alexandra herself bowed and said goodbye as well.

Alex then smiled. "Let's head to where we were going in the first place. To Shania's place." She looked at the others to get their confirmation.

"Nature lover, huh?" Vincent smirked, noding oh so confidently, "Though from the sounds of things, you seem to know your way though them!" With a playful gaze, he chuckled and spun himself to her direction from his leaning position, then elegantly taking a bow, he spoke the eloquent words that were surprisingly convincing, totally not expected of him, "Do you need someone to attend you, madam?"

((50 gold for someone to be able to revive this RP! xd Patchwork would pay for that!))

Inanise looked at him with surprised, wide eyes. "Wh-what?" she stuttered, confused.

Why was he acting like that? Was he making fun of her? Was he sincere? She was no diety, just a lowly child, barely thinking herself a grown woman.

"Please don't do that." she told him, hiding her obvously blushing face further within the depths of her cowl. "Please..." At that moment, there was nothing more that Inanise could wish for except to use her abilites and whisk herself away from this place.

But the Old Inshi had taught her better than that.

Don'cha use yoor powers ta do eeny of dem useless thangs!

She could hear her Old Inshi say within her mind, and Inanise nodded absentmindedly, her hands holding on tightly to her cowl as she hid her face within it.

Slowly she looked up at him, peeping from the top edge of her hood, still unsure of what to do next. Her hands slowly let go of her hood and go down to her sides, aprehensive.

-o-

Aoi woke up with a start, refreshed. His sleep went well, his body enjoying the softness of his bed. It was well-past morning, and Aoi guessed that his brothers and his own mother would have gone off to work already. The tall, tanned man jovially went down the stairs and immediately out the back towards the guest house, opening the door quietly and taking a peek inside.

Empty.

Quickly, he steps in, Inanise nowhere to be found.

Worry immediately settled deep within his stomach, not knowing what to do. He knew very well that Inanise was inexperienced with the ways of the city, especially one as big as this. Right away he wondered if he would be able to find her.

Looking out the open window, he sees the pleasant view of houses, some of which were partially hidden by foliage.

Trees.

The idea struck him like lightning. What if Inanise had tried to find her way back to the forests? She was, after all, hesitant to go into the city in the first place. Aoi struck his forehead, silently berating himself for being so careless.

He grudgedly walked into the house and sat in one of the chairs in the dining room table, too preoccupied with his thoughts to notice the voices outside of his own house.
