Hiru's attention was diverted by the sound of movement behind him. He turned around and barely had time to dodge an incoming punch from what appeared to be a relatively new student to Kirigakure.
"Woh there! I'm Hiru, I'm a stu - ", Hiru did not even have time to finish his sentence when he was grabbed by the shirt by the boy who insistantly asked for explanations.
"Ok calm down, calm down, I'm Hiru Hoshigaki. We were all in the hospital when Mizukage-sama entered fighting a very powerful shinobi. That strange ninja summoned a violent tidal wave that could have killed everyone in there. I barely managed to grab a few people with my Mizu bunshins and made it back here. Some of these people are... in pretty bad shape."
Hiru looked around at all the injured, and all around himself to see if there could be any enemy shinobis left.
"... I'm just not sure what we could do now...", Hiru finished, a bit overwhelmed by the current events.

Hikaru listened to the words Hiru spoke. His senses still a tad astray, Hikaru thought back to the hospital. Remembering the invading shinobi, many injured and a suicide bomber. Hikaru's eyes widened as he thought of all the innocent patients who's lives where wasted. A moment of silence.
"I'm not sure either," Hikaru said as he stood. "Where there others? Could they have fled before?" Hikaru pondered of there situation. There seemed to be no solution. If there where other's maybe we could go back to search the city. There was not much to be done with only a handful of academy students. "We need guidance from Mistress but she is in battle trying to save the village." Hikaru stood in silence with Hiru feeling defeated. Until he heard the sound of footsteps coming behind him.

Im also going to play myself... is this ok?.. XD ))
Batou walked at a hastened pace towards the figures he say not far in front of him. Before approaching, he lifted his right hand above his head. Hopefully sending the white flag message. The smaller of the two waved him on. Batou waved as he approached.
"Hey guys, are you two ok?", Batou asked. "I come with a message and package from Sensei." ( Andou maybe? XD ) Batou held out a radio wrapped with a single slip of paper. "Sensei told me to join you on your "mission", he said it would be explained in the note."
Hikaru eyed the boy that was nearing him. Not seeing a large threat against two but still catious. He had been fooled by innocent faces before. Hikaru walked to him slowly and grabbed the radio from Batou's hand. After nodding at Batou, he backed away. Not taking his eyes off him. Until Hiru was at his side again, he was on constant guard. Hikaru remembered seeing this ninja in the village before its attack, but this could easily be a trap.
Backing up towards Hiru, he said,"Thank you, did Sensei tell you anything else?", Hikaru questioned as he unwrapped the paper from the walkie-talkie. The walkie-talkie was in crude condition, he hoped it still worked. His attention was once again on the note. Written on the paper was.....

Clou held her hands over her head. Her head tucked into her knees, how long had it been sense she had seen another shinobi? Was it safe to come out. Maybe maybe not. She could hear footsteeps and voices, but she couldn't make out the words. Clou was still in a stait of shock and her brain was more consentrated on her immediate surroundings then the farther off. As long as she was not seen, she would not be harmed. It was the trick that animals had come to learn by, and what was she more then thm at the moment. She knewe no jutsus, she was not strong, and her body had mot matured enough to use its bloodline to it's full potential. So she was nothing. that was the answer, she was a child who could only hope for pity.
Clou let out an exsasperated gasp. Perhaps it was worth a peek. If these where the nice shinobu of her own village perhaps sh could find safety. Was it worth it though? Will it's not like she could let out a gasp if it was the oposing force. She lifted her head gingerly seeing three young kids gathered around a brown package... Wait. Clou took her hands off her head and rocked to her knees. She leaned forwards listening to the voices... If she wasn't mistaken... It sounded like Hiru, and, a smile spread across Clous face as she recognized the other voice. Hikaru. Two students from her class. Cloud rushed from her hiding place towards her fellow students waving her arms like a mad women. Perhaps everything was over.
Clou stopped, her breathing was heavy, but her heart was light. She bowed to the three in front of her turning to Hikaru. She brought her left hand to her throat and moved hr pointer finger in a swift motion verticaly of it, so that it left her chin and pointed in the direction of the other two shinobi. After pointing she arced her arm so that her finger pointed to the other two individualy. She brought her hands to her chest and shook them from left to right violantly until she finished with one hand moving over the other. She brought her hands to a clasped resting position in front of herself. She almost jumped as she raised her left hand and circled her heart with an open palm. Ask them if the war is over! Please.

A blur of motion.
Someone had jumped from the roof above Clou. With a soft thud, the unknown shinobi landed with effortless grace. He straightened up. A Suna shinobi, from what could be seen of his forehead protector from the side. Yet, this one was different from the others...he wore the ANBU garb. Only one crimson eye was revealed, the other was eyepatched, and the face it were set in could not have been older than nineteen. The wind played with fairly long raven locks of hair, as the single crimson orb scanned the destruction cautiously. He did not seem to notice the two Academy Students or their teacher behind him, yet...
"Come, follow me if you want to live." He did not even glance at them for the longest moment until finally, seemingly satisfied that there were no enemies in the vicinity... The Suna ANBU removed his eyepatch. "I would explain, but now is not the time for that or introductions. Your classmate..." He addressed these words to the Academy Students and to Batou. "Your classmate, the Fubuki princess, has offered refuge at her family estate (reference: the Hyouton kekkai genkai Fubuki clan lives much further north of the village of Kiri itself). Her family members are occupied rescuing other surviving villagers. I am a cousin of hers, and will be your guide north. So come, and quickly! This area is not safe - nowhere in the village or even the island itself is until the battle between the two masters cease."
But from his words, then, the Fubuki estate would not be the final location...? Did that mean they would have to evacuate the island?

Hiru was somewhat unsettled to see an unknown shinobi jumping in in the middle of an invasion to offer him help. Still, Hiru was completely exhausted and, despite the fact that he was getting closer and closer to earning his genin rank, he knew he pretty much wouldn't stand a chance against an enemy attack, especially in his present state.
"Ok I'll follow you... but only if you promise not to hurt me or my friends!", Hiru answered, worried about Hikaru and Clou.
Hiru grabbed the unconscious Midori and mounted her on his back.
"I'm ready when you are!", he finally added.

Hikaru stood unaware of the face he was being he was rushed. The person ran directly towards him. He was totally unprepared for an attack. The figure ran waving their arms towards him. He had no idea what to make of this. The person drew nearer, then he gasped. It was Clou, his mute friend from the academy. She was franticlyt signing something but Hikaru lunged himself at her. Wrapping his arms around her.
"I thought something had happened to you!", Im so glad your ok. Hikaru continued to hug Clou. But Then they weren't alone.
As the masked ANBU spoke there was no doubt in Hikaru's mind they needed to do something. But was it to follow this mysterious man?
"Hiru, I know we dont have much of an option but are you sure we're safe?", Hikaru stood from Clou to walk towards Hiru.

Hiru leaned to his friend as he adressed him his concerns about following the strange shinobi.
"I dunno, but I think our chances of surviving alone here aren't any better... Plus he's got an honest face... doesn't he?", Hiru replied, looking quickly at the strange and cold shinobi's facial features.
"I say we go for it!", Hiru added, securing Midori further on his back.

Hikaru looked again at the sunagakure ANBU. He did look plesant enough. With a group of friends, though they where all just academy ninja, He did feel more safe. There is strength in numbers but looks can be deciving. HIkaru looked at Hiru, Batou and Clou.
"Okay, lets go", Hikaru muttered. Having no way to predict what was coming next Hikaru's spirits dropped. He nodded in agreement as he glanced back at Clou. "Are you coming Dear?", Hikaru asked. He doubted the suna shinobi randomly came up with going to the Fubuki compound. Maybe this was safe.

Clou looked distrustingly at the Suna shinobi. If this was an enemy then they where going to a new low and kidnaping children. Her eyes almost whimpered as she heard Hikaru and Hiru side with the foregner. Letting out the breath she did not relise she was holding she looked down. She lifted one hand and then the other moving them up and down like balances. Finally she just let them fall to her side looking up. Her grey eyes pierced the Suna turning over to look softly at her classmates. She blinked a few times then nodded her head. She would go with them. She raised a finger. Under on condition. She crossed her hands making a horizantal karate chop. She then places her hands on top of each other moving the top hand under the bottom. She circled her left hand stoping to raise it. She moved her right hand over her arm and made chopping motions. Under no cause are we to be hurt. Then I will go with you.
She looked at Hiru for a translation.

Hiru watched Clou make strange gestures.
"Eeeeh... Looks like she's saying she's willing to go if we get to cut down at least one tree on the way there. Guess that means everyone agrees!", Hiru enthusiastically told the suna shinobi.

"Come, let's go." The children didn't know chakra climbing yet...so traveling above ground was not an option. He winced as in the distance, another great explosion sounded. Seems something else in the village just broke... He didn't like it, but they'll have to weave through the streets... Maybe he should've brought Kousei with him... Touzoku held up a single finger warningly. "Stick close to each other - don't lose sight of the person before you." Having said that, the young Suna ANBU proceeded a few steps foward and waited, signaling the children to follow.
Street by street, Touzoku kept alert, sensing for any hostile chakra presences close to them. He wasn't that familiar with Kiri's alleyways, but Hatsuyuki had been kind enough to coach him in at least a few different shortcuts in the time alloted. They didn't head directly to the north gate - it would've been too obvious. But they were fortunate in some aspects - the Eastern gate was ruined and left unguarded, the Suna army under Rain having passed through it sometime ago. So they left through the eastern gate and detoured north.
An eye twitched, and his lip curled unhappily at the thought. Touzoku made a mental note to himself: the first Suna idiot who was illegally here that he runs into, he would beat senseless... Of course, smash Isshiki's cease and desist order (with the Kazekage's seal and all) in their faces first before giving them a good fist to the face for causing problems...and Kousei and her shikigamis could teleport them back in groups... Isshiki wouldn't be exactly ecstatic, but he'll just tell the Kazekage they got hit by falling rocks...
Hmph. Not that he'll leave them well enough to remember exactly what hit them anyways...

Hikaru mumbled a simple,"Yes, sir.", to the Sunagakure ANBU before he spead off. Hikaru huried to grab Clou's hand before they started off. He looked at her and gave her a nudge. "I lost you before at the academy but I'm not going to do that again." Hikaru started walking with Clou as everyone prepared to go. He had never even met a Fubuki. But they where supost to be the most organized clan in Kirigakure. And that the the Fubuki princess had sent escort to bring them to the compound safely was saying something. Hikaru followed the ANBU as he left clutching Clou's hand. Hopefully He and Clou could run at the same pace.

If they take advantage of their Jutsus' characteristic radial range, Fubuki's field of vision actually trumps Hyuuga (distance-covered wise). Though that's more for spying. The usual way they locate intruders is more similar to Pain's method (with the rain)...by sensing foreign chakra entering their Hyouton field. So the doujutsu is just an accompaniment to that, since the Hyouton field doesn't determine exact location, just ascertains another presence (as long as it's not another clan member...which then, it doesn't work since both chakra types are the same...).
Naturally, because of their technique style, they're suited for the qualifications as a sentry-clan. After a bit of consideration, yes, that's their official job in Kiri... Not that you can imagine them selling ramen... xP Well, ok...the branch family might be desperate for a little pocket money, but that's another story...
Yeah, I purposely made their clan organization like Hyuuga's of 600 years ago, minus the cursed seal (they do keep certain Jutsus away from the branch family though). Which is kind of funny...since Hyuuga rid their caste system now...and their counterpart in Kiri is like...600 years behind in clan organization evolution... ^0^''
Now...other midgets, post your exits...so we can get moving! gonk ))
