After the basic drill of Sui-Nim-Tao and Cham Kui they then proceeded to a simple sparring.
Having the basic form their front hand the upper wrist of each were in contact.
Keiji used a continuous chain punch attack punching at the center with both hands one at a time, after the first punch the fist rotates down pulling down the enemies fist if encountered and aligned to the elbow and the other arm pouches straight and repeating. A super fast technique that overwhelms the enemy, but if not careful the weak spot may have been forgotten.
Maria was forced to retreat a few steps back using an opposite biji move a similar move only the pal was flat and pointed.
She then found a chance and used the bilji move to overwhelm him. Like the snake the flat palm emerged from under going up targeting the eyes the other hand retreats to sneak up again.
It was a very scary technique even for the user since it attacks the eyes. Maria continuosly attacking in a fast motion was an inch away. They were still. Maria's middle finger was at the middle of Keiji's face touching the soft but flesh covered part of his eye that a bit more force or a finger point to the eye would have cause his eye to be lost or damage.
She then released her hand and both of them felt a rush of nervious having a close call that they only felt whenever that happened even though similar things happen in missions.

Diana blinked at Kai’s response and looked down, shadows covering her eyes. She then smirked and returned to her sarcastic expression “Sarcastic jerk as always, huh, Hiwatari?”. After almost getting insane and getting killed, he STILL has the guts to make a smart aleck remark at her. She turned to Kei who was standing by her and said “I guess you watched the entire battle, huh, Hiyomura? Imagine what else I could have done when I battled you”. She wasn’t scaring her but she was more of saying “good thing it didn’t happen to you”.
"Yes, I watched it," Kei replied with a smile. "As for imagining what else you could have done, I'd rather not. Being strangled is as far as I'll go for now." Handing Diana the soda, the amethyst-eyed teen went on. "Anyway, here. I thought you'd like something, so I bought extra while I was at the store. I got some other flavors, if you don't like regular soda."
She didn't know what else to say, really. Suddenly, a twinge of pain passed through her chest, and she blinked, surprised. What was that? Too much exertion? The brunette decided that that was the most plausible explanation, so, seeing as the bench was pretty much unoccupied, she settled herself on it. If that was all it was, the pain would pass with some rest.
Lordy, was it just her, or did a lot of people need rest today?
Akurei simply smirked once more and just stood a good distance between him and the ice phoenix “Tou of the North, a pleasure to gaze upon such a frozen beauty.” But what he received was nothing more than a painful scratch of ice and his left cheek was bleeding furiously.
Smiling under the dark mask he wore, the cut instantly healed itself, leaving no trail of the dark liquid streaking done from his flesh. He replied “You do know that it’s futile to kill a bitbeast who controls death and darkness…isn’t it?”
Drizzard’s blue eyes were now streaming with soft tears as her hand trembled, still clutching a blade of ice on the palm of her gauntlet. The tears froze still on her cheeks, then broke up and fell to the steel floor, crashing and breaking into tiny crystal fragments. She hissed with venom dripping from every word “Don’t you dare try and come near my brother. I won’t let you make him vulnerable once more.”
Akurei was deeply troubled but he didn’t show it. He was taken back by her great concern for her phoenix brother’s well-being. True, he defeated him easily but still. He was alright now…why? Why did she defend him when the danger was over? Why?
Then it hit him. She didn’t want to lose him…that’s the reason…because she cared for him. She loved him. Akurei was so troubled by the mysterious 4-letter word. But right now he didn’t show it. He contently listened to the blue female phoenix as her eyes continue to stream down ice cold tears.
Sensing that this was his cue, Dranzer came up to his twin. "Sister, please, calm yourself. I'm fine now. There's no need to take this out on Akurei. It isn't really his fault."
Drizzard's outburst was not lost on Kai, who smirked to himself. Feisty one, this Drizzard...
He hopped down from the platform and leaned against it instead; he didn't like sitting down for long periods of time. Then he remembered Miki, who hadn't spoken for quite some time.
"Mit-chan?" he turned slightly to look at his sister. "Daijou ka?" When he said her childhood nickname, he made sure, of course, to lower his voice so only Miki would hear him.

"Let's go train for the tournament" they both said at the same time. Then a few seconds laughed hard.
Maria then smiled a mask that covered her worry. These days of happiness with her friend as the tournament was near. She then went back to the strength machine.
She summoned herself to the blade and full forcedly attacked the machine.
Keiji continued with the speed machine.

Miki snapped back from her long thinking and faced her brother who had concern for her in his eyes. She smiled and simple shook her head. “Hai, Oniichan. I am ok. I…don’t really know if I want to enter. I want to get the chance to see you play. I want see the atmosphere. The world where you are attached to. If I could…I dream to be with you through everything Oniichan.
"I wanted once to battle along side you. I want to travel with you with a team. I always wanted to experience that. But at the same time. I wanted to battle you. I want to show you my skills. I wanted to get stronger so if I want to surpass myself the only thing I need to do is defeat the very person who helped me get this strong so far.” Pausing for the moment, she gave her brother a sweet smile and continued.
“That’s you Oniichan. Domo arigatou. You were the one who took care of me all this time. All those years Grandfather made me think that I was just a second-rate were washed away since I feel more confident with myself now. But I know I can’t just depend on you forever. But I often can't help the fact that even if I am old enough to take care of myself, I still need you with me. I was always the type to not know what to decide.”
Miki lowered her head softly, her eyes almost at the brink of tears once more. “I always depended on you on everything that I feel so guilty even having the courage to speak to you right now.” Suppressing tears, and failed as a single drop fell to the floor.
Kai blinked. So it was out; Miki had let it all out. He was glad she realized what she did - that she had to start taking care of herself and all that - but still. She was having trouble deciding what to do; was that why she asked for his permission to join the tournament.
Something sparkling, falling to the floor, caught his eye, and when he pinpointed its source, he realized the cause as well. Instinct made him move even closer to her, and the slate-haired teen laid his hand over Miki's slightly smaller one. "At least you realize that now, Miki. And seriously, what else are siblings for?"
He took his hand off of hers at that moment, leaning back once more against the platform. "And if you want to battle me that badly... we'll do it sometime soon, especially if you do decide not to join the tournament..."
------------------------------
Drizzard turned back at her brother giving him another look of concern “I know brother but…he almost—” she was cut off by a familiar voice.
Akurei couldn’t help but need to interrupt the short sibling talk “Enough, Tou of the North. Suzaku, you need not to defend me. I have experienced this sort of accusations over the years I have been fighting with my mistress so I don’t need your pity for me.” He placed a hand on his hip and tilted his head slightly, indicating that he was smirking “I already know that your sister knows that I can’t be killed by simple means alone”.
Dranzer frowned slightly, the furrows that appeared in his brow obscured by his flame-red bangs. "You misread me, Akurei; I am not defending you..." And it was true; it may have seemed like he was defending the dark bitbeast, but the phoenix was just stating the obvious - though he was fairly sure his twin knew it as well.

Miki gave a soft smile at her brother and realized something wet on her left cheek. She quickly wiped it away and gave a sheepish smile “Sorry, I’m being a crybaby again. He he, no matter what I do, I still cry. Gomene Oniichan, I will try not to again.”
Miki was slightly happy though. Kai may appear cold and serious all the time. But he was always kind to her. He will never leave her alone. She held on to her brother’s hand giving it a gentle squeeze and took a deep breath. She turned to him and said:
“I decided Oniichan…that I will join the tournament.”
Kai smirked, but only slightly. "Good. It would have been boring, facing practically the same opponents."
Diana, who was still with Kei, gave a sigh and looked at both the pair of siblings. She then leaned to Kei and whispered “You know…sometimes I can’t shake the feeling that why is Drizzard controlling ice if she has a fiery temper while Dranzer controls fire while he is cool and calm all the time”
Kei nodded in agreement. It was interesting, really. "I know. Its strange..."
But then, who was she to talk? She controlled fire, like Dranzer - well, her bitbeast self did, at least - yet she was, for the most part, calm and collected.
-------------------------------------
Akurei just gave a blank look and continued his smile “It doesn’t matter, Suzaku…I don’t care one way or another if you were or not. It doesn’t make a difference. I only came to you because I want to know how my just recent opponent feels. I am deeply sorry for almost killing you with my ghouls.”
Akurei took a pause and continued “I know it is yet not the right time since it is obvious that you don’t seem to like me since I am creature who controls darkness and almost let your master insane, but I do hope to battle you again. If my mistress won’t get angry then maybe you will be saved by my blood. Until then, Tou of the North and Suzaku of the South...”
With a quick toss of his torn black cape, he returned back to Diana’s side and proceeded to lean on the wall. Closing his eyes and crossing both his legs and arms, he proceeded to rest.
Diana gave a groan and muttered “He always sleeps while standing, sometimes I don’t get that habit. He is starting to act like Hiwatari.” She remembered something and continued “Hiyomura, heard you got drinks. Is it ok if I have one?”
Kei nodded, handing over the can of soda she had ready. "Of course; here." The brunette then indicated the convenience store bag, which still had some items in it.
"If you'd prefer a different flavor, of course, you can exchange it. I bought extra." She had to smile, even just a little. Despite their less-than-desirable first meeting, she and Diana seemed to be getting along, more or less. The amethyst-eyed teen was glad of that, as she wasn't comfortable with the idea of having made a potential enemy - which, in this case, she hadn't.
-------------------------------
Drizzard was slightly taken back by Akurei’s short response. Was he apologizing? Or threatening? She didn’t know for sure but she lowered her ice blade and turned to her brother “Brother forgive me, I was…I wasn’t able to restrain my actions. I am sorry” she softly lowered her head, ashamed by her sudden outburst of anger.
The fire phoenix shook his head, a small grin curving his lips beneath the red scarf he wore. "No need to apologize; you haven't killed him, have you?" he said, laying a hand on the ice phoenix's shoulder, an attempt at assuring his twin. "Besides, at least you know your...shortcomings; that's a good start."

Diana took the can and popped it open. She gave a soft thanks and quickly gulped it down and gave a soft burp. Muttering an “excuse me” and a “sorry”, she crushed the can and incinerated it with her black flames. Looking at Kei, she stated “I control black flames. No need to be startled.”
Looking at Kai, she gave a mischievous grin “Although, I am pretty sure Hiwatari already knows that since I almost burned his pants” she said rather loudly in a teasing voice. It was fun to see him suddenly jump from the fire. Man, his expression was priceless!
Miki’s ears perked when she heard Diana’s teasing and glanced nervously at her brother. Only heaven knows if he will strangle Diana right now or be calm about it but then again, there is a possibility he might be planning to murder in her sleep after.
Kai glowered at the Diana, trying his best not to snarl as he spoke. "Don't tempt me, Murphy..."
Damn her! The crimson-eyed teen had wanted to forget the whole 'pants on fire' incident - which had resulted in his acting somewhat uncharacteristically - but here Diana was, reminding him of it all over again.
Kei's gaze travelled from Diana to Kai, and then back again. Burned...his pants? Frankly, she couldn't imagine the phoenix blader to have had any...interesting reaction to that, but from the look on Diana's face, it was apparent that he had.
Though curious, she refrained from asking; she didn't think she could deal with Kai's wrath. Instead, she decided to carry on her conversation - if one could call it that - with the dark blader. "Black flames, huh? How different is that from regular flames?"

Maria took another second to think.
'Surely they would be alright since Kai and Diana are there, but who will protect them from themselves.'she though worried.
"Keiji" she called out to him. "Yes" he who was at his blade and returned to answer. "I want to check something for my client" she answered as she went over to Miki's room

Diana grinned more as she looked at Kai’s expression. Looks like she is getting warmer “Tempt you to what? Strangle me? Kill me? Whatever Hiwatari, I can just announce to world about that incident back at when you and Miks were still 3. So what do you say now…”Before continuing she snickered and was trying to hold back a laugh.
“…Kaka-chan?”
Miki couldn’t help but giggle a bit. She completely remembered when they were still small, they had some nicknames for each other. But then realized that Diana might be going overboard and decided to intervene.
“Diana please stop it.” But she tried to hold back her laughter as well, but managed to be calm.
When Diana mentioned what must have been Kai's childhood nickname courtesy of Miki, Kei instantly clapped a hand over her mouth, and then turned around to face the wall, trying to hold back her laughter.
No such luck. Her shoulders were shaking ever so slightly - but they were still shaking! It was adorably, really, how the twins had their own special names for each other, but to have yours revealed to some of the people who knew you now...
Inadvertently, the brunette let out a snort, then clamped her mouth shut even more tightly. Aww, man...
Kai's crimson gaze darted between Miki and Kei - both of whom were trying not to laugh and failing - and then to Diana. His eyes were even more narrowed now, practically sparking. It took all he had to prevent himself from walking over to the brunette and strangling the smirk off her face.
"Murphy..."
At that moment, an idea hit him, and he forced himself to appear calm. "You know what? Do what you want; I don't care..." With that, he walked over to the other side of the training room and chose one of the training machines. He'd just take his frustration at Diana out on an endless stream of defenseless Beyblades. Gee, what fun.
He rolled his eyes. Well, it was either that, or continue looking like an easy target for teasing. He'd much rather take the former, thank you very much. The slate-haired teen hoped, though, that Miki wouldn't take his sudden exit the wrong way; he hadn't been looking at her that time, so hopefully...

Maria was surprised as she walked to them hearing Diana.
' Kaka-chan? Diana' she thought angrily being defensive and has never heard anyone insult Kai as such. 'What kind of nickname would that be that's a letter longer than his actual name. How about ka-sama though Kai-sama is already perfect 'she though like a fangirl. 'Diana how dare you if only'she though then composed herself before she would think something else and have Diana accidentally hear her thoughts getting very annoyed with her.
She saw cross rooms probably also annoyed. She stepped in the room and at the door and signed. "Murphy-san what are you doing?"she said removing her smile slightly crossed eyes.

((Kana and Kei: goddess-san...how on earth did Maria found out where Miki is if Kai never even told here where they went. Sorry if it offends you but i think you're taking the "Maria has a crush on Kai" a little too far...))
Miki finally stop laughing and frowned at Diana “Diana, you don’t need to go overboard with that. Please apologize to Oniichan.”
Diana gave a snort and looked away “Whatever, Hiwatari needs to at least lighten up.” She went to the bench and just sat and closed her eyes. She didn’t know that Kai will get THAT irritated. Hell, she may be a killer but she isn’t psychic.
Miki gave a sigh and followed where her brother went. When she got nearer, she softly got hesitant but managed to speak to him. “Oniichan, gomene. Diana was just joking. And I’m sorry I laughed. I was the one at fault for coming up with the nickname for you. Oniichan, you can punish me if you like. I won’t get mad anymore if you ruffle me again."
Miki looked down sadly; she can be quite sensitive when she makes someone else angry. But the only person she never dared to make fun of was Kai since she cared for him a lot. But she just couldn’t help but laugh slightly but it causes her brother to get annoyed. Hey, don’t let the calm face fool you. He can be planning to kill Diana right now.
At the sound of Miki's voice, Kai turned away from the training machine, catching his blade even without looking at it - he'd done it before, anyway. He sighed, trying to let go of his as-yet unreleased frustration.
"Don't apologize, Miki; we were only 3 back then..." he replied, his voice back to his usual monotone. Obligingly, he reached out and tickled her on her right side, earning a giggle from his twin.
Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he saw Sayka enter the room and ask Diana something. Instantly he strode over to her, the scowl back on his face.
"Sayka, what the ******** are you doing in here?" he asked, the frustration returning but now aimed at a different person. "This is a closed practice, dammit!"
The slate-haired teen didn't care if he was scaring her, or going to make her cry, or some other reaction; it was getting to be a bit too much, running into her practically everywhere. Also, she just had bad timing at the moment, coming in when he was pretty pissed at what Diana had just done. Speaking of which...
"And what Diana does is none of your business;" So he was pissed; her loss. It wasn't like he cared at the moment.
In the meantime, Kei had managed to calm herself down, so she was a bit surprised when she turned around to find Maria suddenly in the room...
And Kai was berating her about something. The amethyst-eyed teen frowned slighlty. Getting on Kai's bad side when he was already clearly pissed was never a good thing. The thing was, Kei didn't know how to step into this one, or even if she should, for that matter.
You're alone in this one, Maria-san...

{warukata "sorry"}
Maria was surprised at Kai's response.
"I am sorry Kai-sama I just wanted to check things out even though I don't have much to update."she answered with guilty tone in her voice. She found them by walking around hoping to hear one of them.
"For now I am with Keiji as a team and the third blader is merely for show. He is one of the guys that attacked Kei and I at the park. Boris will be meeting us soon before the tournament starts."
She then took in a deep air and calmed down. She had never seen Kai so pissed off and his anger was bent out on her. Her luck was not good when it came to him. He was partly right since she was neither a friend and she was in one of the enemy teams.
She then pulled out a coin from her pocket and said "tails". She then flipped the coin and what came out was heads.
" I am sorry for the intrusion. I shall be going now." she said as she gave a formal bow and then turned. "By the way"she said recalling something before she got another step out, "Who ever gets to fight Keiji be careful, even with a weak attack a poison is in effect slowly but surely. "

Miki gave a soft smile then she heard her brother shout and curse. Shout and Curse… Not a good sign. Following her brother’s gaze, her eyes widened and saw a familiar blonde girl and muttered softly to herself “Maria-san...”
She didn’t listen to what her brother said but something struck her. She didn’t know a certain dark-haired girl was thinking the exact same thing.
Diana was still on the bench until she heard a familiar voice, but it was annoying, she opened her right eye and opened both in a glare when she was looking at her, annoyed at her earlier action. She was about to retort but she got beaten by a certain two-toned haired boy.
But the last line made her blink. She didn’t know a certain blue-haired girl was thinking the same thing. And exactly the same time, both said inside their minds:
“Oniichan called Diana by her first name?”
“Hiwatari called me by my first name?”
Wait... did Kai-san just... Kei blinked. Well, that was certainly unexpected. She'd never have thought Kai would call someone he barely knew by their given name; she'd known him for relatively longer than Diana did, but he still used her family name when he talked to her.
The brunette shrugged; it didn't matter to her, really, how Kai called her, as long as she didn't get on his bad side. Then it dawned on her that the slate-haired teen might have done that to convey his current feelings in a way that words couldn't. She watched as the blonde turned to go; she was a bit relieved that Maria had done so - although it was more due to the result of a coin toss than anything else; she wasn't sure if she'd want to see Kai get even more annoyed - for lack of a better term - than he already was.
Again, Kai sighed in irritation as Sayka walked out. "I didn't ask for a damned update, you -" he muttered under his breath. Honestly, did the girl think showing that she was willing to go through with the whole 'double agent' thing, and giving him information on a regular basis would change his attitude towards her?
If she did, she was to be sorely disappointed. He stalked back to the bench and sat down next to Diana. "Don't get me wrong, Murphy; if I used your given name, it was to get a point across."
Kei smiled with satisfaction - she knew it! - and nearly sat down on Kai's other side, but stopped herself just in time and moved so that Diana was in the middle. The brunette didn't think her trainer would be all that comfortable seated in between two girls, neither of whom were related to him.
She realized then that she was still holding her empty soda can, so she tossed it into the trash bin, wincing as it bounced off the wall before falling into the bin itself. Man...need to work on my accuracy, I guess...
((Goddess-san, forgive the sudden outburst but we're having extreme difficulty understanding your post. Kindly make your post more understandable and also, please make your OC's action more about what is really happening and not simply because you want to see someone or intrude. Diana just shrugged and replied “Whatever Hiwatari I don’t care one way or another. Just don’t try to get on MY bad side.” Smirking slightly, she continued “You know I have abilities to end you, you know”.
But seriously, she almost flushed when Kai called her by her first name. Not exactly the words you expect from a guy like him. Shrugging at the thought, she continued to rest on the bench with her eyes closed. If Kai meant it then who is she to care. She never did in the first place.
Kai smirked upon seeing the slight flush in the girl's cheeks, no matter how she tried to hide it. "Whatever..."
Meanwhile, Miki went to her brother and placed a hand on the side of his arm. Hey she was shorter, she can’t exactly tiptoe and put her hand on his shoulder. She gave a reassuring smile. “Oniichan, you don’t have to curse at Maria-san. She probably just wanted to see you. She after all likes you. Although I often get it is rather annoying to have someone always follow you around like a stalker.”
"Nice choice of words..." Kai replied, half muttering. More louder he said, "I know I don't have to; 'sides, I can't exactly help it if she caught me in a bad mood..." He shuddered inwardly at the reminder that someone liked him and seemed to be stalking him.
For no reason whatsoever, Kei smiled. As sorry as she was to see Maria being treated that way, she couldn't help but feel glad as well that she herself hadn't been a victim of Kai's ire. It wouldn't do, really, seeing as they were now teammates - an intimidating thought, to be sure - and she was determined to make sure that it didn't happen.

"Wow I have so much bad luck Not like that Yuuya guy. He was weak and some what useless but he had the nerve to follow Kai-sama, stealing Dranzer to battle Dunga and talk back to him. Despite that Kai saved him."Maria said to herself as she walked from the room.
She then gave a deep sign putting her hands on her head and said, "Oh man maybe next time I'll go check the situation first. "
She then decided to go to the garden near the building an open air remote area. She sat herself down the ground and began to think.
"I'll fight the urge. There must be some way I can help."she said before she fell asleep.

Drizzard blinked at the sight of the events that just happened. Looking back at the young Hiwatari, then her mistress, then Akurei’s keeper. She couldn’t help but smirk at what just happened. She looked at her brother then at the silent dark bitbeast. Akurei was still apparently resting against the wall with his arms and legs crossed. She decided to give a private bitbeast chat. ”It seems that your mistress is having feelings”
Akurei almost opened his eyes at the sound of the ice phoenix inside his mind. But what she mentioned was puzzling and decided to use his special reserved power. ”Shingan” he said quietly and a dark aura appeared on his forehead. He was a dark beast, so only bitbeasts of darkness can see the aura when he is activating his power while in his human form. It turns to shape into an eyeball, and was rolling curiously around and about. Until Akurei made it roll towards the direction of his mistress and noticed a faint color on her cheeks. Smirking with amusement, he decided to answer back.
”As I notice, Tou of the North. My mistress is having the slightest color but her emotions are none of my concern. She is responsible if she did develop feelings for the young wielder of Suzaku. She will know of its consequences. I have no reason to interfere nor do I even have the intentions. My mistress is capable of understanding her feelings by herself.”
Drizzard was astonished by Akurei’s words. Man that guy…beast could talk! But he sure knows his words. Shrugging and decided to pass the message to her phoenix brother.
”Brother, I think you should look at the situation right now. You would find rather…amusing”
Beneath his scarf, Dranzer grinned as he glanced at the three teens now seated on the bench, and then back at his sister. No words were needed; the look on his face was enough.
Had the ice finally cracked? He had to wonder. It seemed there were now three girls - apart from Miki, of course - whom Kai could tolerate: Hiromi, then Kei, and now Diana.
Interesting, indeed.
Miki just blinked at the placing on the bench. ”Kei-san, Diana then Oniichan” She didn’t know if she should pop up something or not but decided to just ask a question. She turned to her brother and said, “Ne, Oniichan, uhm since you aren’t that busy at all and I am alright from my energy loss a while ago…maybe I could try your training regimen for me. If it is alright with you that is.” She, after all, was going to enter the tournament. Might as well get some training done.
Diana was still closing her eyes but that doesn’t mean her ears aren’t alert to the conversation. Her 3rd ability was the only ability she uses 24/7. Her ears perked slightly at the voice of her blue-haired best friend, who was apparently asking for a training session with her twin brother. ”This should be fun” she thought while her eyes still closed but the smirk in her face remained.
Kai looked up, frowning slightly - this time, out of concern more than anything else. "Miki, you're sure you're all right now?" he asked quietly, having sufficiently calmed down from the events that transpired earlier.
Kei stood up and stretched a bit, fingers laced together above her head as she stood on tiptoe. "Speaking of training, I should probably get back to mine..." As she passed Miki on the way back to the machine she'd been using earlier, she gave an encouraging smile to Miki and said "Miki-san, ganbatte ne..."
