Kalco became giddy. He lined up in front of the gate and shook his hands. He flexed his fingers and outstretched his arms. "Are you sure we can do this?"

"I'm staying awake with plant energy because you punched me," Sora said. "I'm more than sure you and Minae and May can do this." He began the line behind Kalco, as Kalios filed in behind him. "Besides, just follow Alianae's instructions."

May and minae exchanged stares and looks; They were obviously used to comunicating in silence, not even with their minds, and understanding everything the other thought, though for anyone else, it would've ben just an odd feeling to be stared at like that. "Take hands?" they both said at the same time, as if their words were planned and seconds were counted. "I'd think not" May said, "Neither do I; The sound f it makes it look pretty childish!" Minae completed, as though she was completing May's sentence, or thought. "Quite Right... it sounds quite silly, Alianae... Just like that; Why do all your spells, or magick tricks if you want, need to be hand-held? Litteraly?"
((HINT: When actions or words are done by both characters, the color will remain black, as May will be blue and Minae green))

Alianae raised her eyebrows. "I meant in magic. If you try seperately, it won't work. It needs a concentration of all magics together to open the gate. Joining magical hands combines your magic, physical hands can do the same and give you something to focus on more." Her eyes blazed for a split second. "And what I do are not tricks."

Sora tapped his foot. How much longer are they going to delay? It's almost as if they don't want us to set foot in Alalea, he thought.
Terra snaked her head around Kalios, and looked at Sora. I know you're impatient to see your ancestor's land, but you must understand. Minae and May think they're too mature for holding hands. But that will soon wane.
Kalios's mind was interrupted by their conversation, like a still pond rippled by a stone. As long as we leave this place. The people here are giving me weird looks. Though, they're benevolent, compared to the ones I might receive in Alalea. So long as we leave this Magicked city. The taste of arcane magicks are heavy and sharp in the air.
Sora looked at Alianae, struck by a thought, "I've got a question. Many scrolls dictate the three colors, Red, Green, and Blue to be the main color components of light. So if they combine their Magicks, wouldn't that make something different? Like Light Magick?"

Their heads snapped instantly towards Terra; Such obvious thoughts were hard to ignore. "To mature?!" she yelled out, offended. "As if! I just think it childish and useless!"

Alianae's eyes twinkled at Sora. "Light Magic? Well, that's a concept nobody's brought to me before. Sora, look around. This whole city is light is it not? If I say...each of my ..twins and I are the First Bearers of Red Green and Blue and that we made this city together, what does that make you think? What you believe is your decision and nobody else's." She smiled softly, "Although, you are further along the road of understanding -of Illumination - than many others."

Terra turned her head slowly towards the two. If you think it's too childish, then you think you are too mature, she said, in a monotone. Feelings like those, and those completely unrelevant, will always wane, given enough time. Look at Sora. He hated Kalios with all his heart when he first entered his life. Eventually, he grew to endure him, then to love him as a brother. It may be completely unrelevant, but it proves my point. Even the strongest feelings towards something wane. Given enough time, that is.

Like the hatred I currently feel towards you?, she replied on a rather bitter and annoyed tone. "Pf... Minaem come on... The sooner we get rid of this barrier thing the faster we can get away from all this bickering"

Terra stared at May, Exactly. She then told Sora privately, I swear, anything that doesn't have a sharp edge must be too childish for them.
Sora replied in private, Only sometimes. I can't wait till I actually understand what Alianae said about 'Illumination' though.
Like all things, we will eventually find out later, at some catastrophic, climactic event. Right before we all get killed, is my bet, Kalios replied, adding his depressed tone to the conversation. "Yes, getting through the barrier now would be a great improvement to our goal," he said to May.

Alianae smiled at Sora. She so loved giving answers to problems before the puzzle was complete. It was an easy way to inform people of their destines before she was forced not to say. And it proved entertaining whilst they tried to figure out what she meant too.
"Well? Are we going into Alalea or not? Because if you delay any further, the city's going to shift again. My sister's bringing some here and it won't be pleasant, I can tell you that."

((Minae or Kalco mainly. although you could too and try to egg them on or whatever.))
Alianae turned to face May, Minae and Kalco. "Ten seconds. Open the gate or I will be forced to do it myself so we do not get shifted and you will all fail your first test." She stared pointedly at them and then at the 'sky' above which was already turning a purplish colour as it always did when it shifted.

((Really, REALLY sorry. My Internet went down.))
Kalco sighed and put his hands in front of him, arms outstretched. He thought over and over again, I ant to open te gate, I want to open the gate.... He felt a slight tingling sensation as the Magick floed through his arms and to his fingertips.

Sora looked at Kalco, impatient at Minae and May. "It's not going to work alone. Not yet, at least. I'd help. But I can't. This is for you, and the delaying duo over here on your own," he said, as a weird wind sent his hair billowing, heavily permeated with the metallic taste of ancient spells and Magick.
