A.C. said nothing as she put the body away, but she came back fairly quickly in a fresh uniform. The owner's son was still cleaning, and she watched him for a minute with her arms crossed before dismissing him with a small gesture that said she would take care of it. To Ora, she said quietly, "I know you may find this hard to believe, Miss Oralia Soldev--" she purposely dropped the i, "--but I am one of the owners, and I understand this process better than you give credit. Be grateful I don't feel like making yet more of a mess to clean up, or you might be regretting... a number of things."
She got down and started scrubbing out the blood, working at a strictly average speed, but it came up fast enough that it was obvious she was using some force. Even more quietly, A.C. added, "And in the mob world, you should learn to respect who's boss where--you take the city, but no one has to stay, though that's something people higher on the chain tend to forget... In this little Italian restaurant, if you kill someone, the one who cleans up the mess is the one who decides what happens next, and they back it up as they can. So when I sit you down and tell you eat your manicotti, you sit and eat your manicotti."

"You're a Santini?" She asked with a tilted head. "I'm surprised they would allow one who would have them killed on the spot for their differences. They come from a long line of supers, and don't play high and mighty with me spy. If you wanted to leave the city, that is fine, but don't think I am not being generous in letting you stay." She smiled. "I have saved more of these people than you seem to realize. It is by my strength and influence that your lovely humans haven't slaughtered them all. Don't look at me like I am the only one with blood on my hands, puddles of red are already collecting at your feet."
She took a new fork, poking at the manicotti, "oh, and it's 'Soltari'."

After a short bit of wandering, Blitz realized he was back in Union City. "So, anything special you'd like? This city pretty much has it all."

"I know. And for the record, I know perfectly well how many people I've killed and helped kill, and who. Do you?" A.C. finished scrubbing and stood, wiping over the spot with a mop to get up the last of the soap.
"Sometimes, Ora," she added with a cocky swing of the mop handle and pursed lips, "I think you don't really know what's going on. That master of yours, does he actually tell you anything? Or just what he wants you to do next? 'Do you choose the cards/from your own hand... Or are we just puppets in a master plan?'"
"Oh, I know not... It all looks a bit battle-worn, this place--a war might'n there be, Blitz? I don't keep track. I'll go wherever you want." Corellia shrugged.

"The war hasn't changed it too much. Just who's causing the damage. Instead of the AoH and Resistance, it was the guys who are in charge now." He looked around. "If it's still around, I know a pretty good Italian place."

Ora's eyes lost some of their anger, and looked almost glassy for a moment. "I know all too well. Sometimes, it would be better if I didn't."
In a flash they regained their sharpness, "As I said, I know all too well. In the small glimpse that you have, spy, understand there are more to my workings than you can comprehend. And yes, I do soley my master's bidding." But she said the last with a wide grin, which could have meant she lied, or not.

Corellia shrugged. "Okay," she agreed. "I have some hunger for the dish, if Italian is the people serving noodles. Is yonder den the place?" She pointed down the street to an entrance with a bright red, white, and green awning.
A.C. put the mop in the bucket, shifting position so she could wheel it out. As she turned, she commented, "That wasn't what I asked."
And with that, she walked off with the bucket of bloody, soapy water and the mop.

Blitz smiled as they approached the somewhat familiar restaurant. "Yep, this is the place." He pushed open the door and peaked inside. There were still a few girls he was trying to avoid in this city.

Ora was sitting in her booth as she saw Blitz and Corellia walk in, she tilted her head. She was no longer paying any attention to AC, knowing full well she hadn't answered the girl's question. She was pleased the body had already been taken away, it would have been difficult to explain to Blitz why she had killed her mother, and his best friend. She put her fork down and gave Blitz a small wave.

"I pay for your ransom and you don't even drop by to say hi? Let alone give a thank you?" Ora asked with a tilt to her head and a twitch in the corner of her lips. "What kind of uncle does that? Although I've heard you tend to avoid your nieces in general."

"I was at your place, you weren't there to be greeted or thanked. Also, I only avoid those who refer to me as 'Uncle' while coming on to me. It's creepy." He shuddered. "So why'd you bust me out?"

Corellia gave Ora the distance once-over and shrugged. Sister? Old girlfriend? Uncurious, she snagged a menu and checked out the dishes while she waited.

"So why'd you bust me out?" "I can't bust you out out of the goodness of my heart? Blitz, I'm hurt." Ora chuckled, "electricity fights well against the machines at New Phoenix, we needed a power source, you were the obvious choice."
