Kasiya watched the Doduo with curiosity for a moment. It was remarkably fast, something that she hadn't been unprepared for. She'd battled the Nameless Trainer's Dodrio before, and he was not slow, not by any means. Adamantine backed up slowly, rubbing the back of her head where Doduo's spindly foot had made contact.
Kasiya tilted her head, holding up a hand to signal time-out, which just made Jimmie and his brothers laugh. She opened her PokeDex, wondering if there was something she was missing about Doduo and Dodrio. "One of the heads always remains vigilant, even when eating or sleeping, to keep an eye out for danger," she read, snapping it closed. "One head can focus on attacking while the other watches for danger."
"And four eyes are better than two," Jimmie called. "All right Doduo! Hit it with another Fury Attack!" Doduo gave a dual-voiced screech, and dashed forward, its large feet leaving huge footprints on the ground. Each beak took turns trying to peck at the little Larvitar, who dodged all but two of the attempts.
"Ada! Use your Rock Slide!" Kasiya called suddenly. At this close range, the attack would have a good chance of striking. Adamantine bent her knees, spreading her arms out like tree branches. She rose up, causing rocks and chunks of the earth around her to rise up into the air. On her command, they came crashing down towards the two-headed bird.

Now just because Raichu's tail was far from any vital spots on his body, it went without saying just how much pain he was actually in. Electricity shot out at all angles from the mass of yellow, tan and green, and even though it was harmless to the Vibrava, one stray bolt arched over the head of Lt. Surge and shot off into his office, ricocheting around before it fizzled out. Uttering a fierce growl, the small Raichu used Bahamut's Crunch attack against her, using his tail like a whip and swinging her around as hard as he could into the smooth, polished floor. It seemed that Bahamut wasn't the only Pokemon who knew how to think for themselves.

Mitsu's eyes fluttered as she touched her head with great difficulty. She wanted to mumble a few words but the heaviness she was feeling prevented her from doing much.
"You're awake. That was pretty fast. Thought you'd be out cold for days," a voice sneered. Okay, it's a guy. And a jerk. And probably the one from the forest. This she registered, but remained silent.
"Not going to talk then?" he asked a bit sharply, "Fine then I will." He paused. "I'll talk . . . Mitsu." Mitsu blinked, the guy knew her name. Where was her Pokenav, her bag? She forced herself to sit up and she managed it with some great pain. She winced a bit but that was all. She was sitting in a bed and apparently in someone else's home. "Relax," the voice came again, "I'll tell you what happened."
Mitsu finally spotted the person still across from her. He seemed a few years older than her and oddly familiar. His black hair was short and slightly spiked. He wore a red hooded sweater and a pair of jeans and sneakers. "What," she said finally, "what happened?"
"How should I start," he mused. "Well. I'll start from the top. I'm Touya, your brother."

"I could stay on the Nav and banter back and forth with you all day, Nina," Maorde said, "but, that would be foolish, and nothing would get accomplished." "I'm aware of that," Nina said, "so--" "And you want to eliminate Giovanni, do you not?" Maorde interrupted. "After all... he is the cause of your sadness.... your emptiness... your lonliness!" Nina shut her eyes tightly. Oh god, just shut the hell up, she thought.
"Yes," she whispered. "I'd love to see him wiped out... But please, stop bringing up these feelings, these thoughts! You don't know what it's like to feel this way!" Maorde laughed. "Oh, I don't know what it's like to be alone? Nina, I was imprisoned for over a full century, in a maximum security area. I was isolated away from everyone else. I was never allowed to leave my cell, for any reason. Worst of all, I didn't have my Pokemon, whom I had grown to love for ages. How do you think I felt?!" Nina shook her head a little. "I'm sorry," she replied. That was all that she knew what to say, it seemed. "But, getting back to Giovanni," she said, changing the subject, "I don't... I won't kill anyone else to obtain information about him, sir. Violence draws attention, the kind that we don't need. What would the authorities say when they found out that a Gym Leader was plotting to eliminate another Gym Leader with the help of her five hundred year old psychotic father? It just wouldn't sit well with the media."
Maorde chuckled. "Smart girl," he replied. "All right, I suppose we can try it your way this time. Find a local Rocket hideout. See if you can obtain information about our friend... without killing anyone. In the mean time, I'll be in touch." Nina heard a click on the other line, and a dial tone. She pressed End, and put the Nav away, flipping her hair over her shoulder.

Dispite being whipped around Bahamut didn't let go, it just wasn't in her nature to even if she was getting tossed around. That and the fact that she was paralysised again and couldn't let go even if she wanted to. Instead she did her best to ignore the feeling of being smashed into the floor. Seeing his pokemon get tossed around like that Dante suddenly wished he had sent Apollo in instead, the fire pony was much to large to pick up and toss around like that. After a moment the paralysis wore off and Bahamut actually let go and flew to the side a bit. Due to the many bashings agains't the ground she didn't exactly fly streight.

Mitsu froze and just stared at him. The two didn't look all that similar. "I don't have a brother," she said slowly deciding to leave the whole sister/brother relationship she had with Dante for another day.
Touya shook his head, "You were always slow. And clumsy. And had no sense of direction. And--"
"Ok get on with it," she muttered.
Touya laughed. "Fine, fine. But try not to be too shocked with the information I'm going to though at you." He took a deep breath before starting what Mitsu thought was going to be a long story.
"As I said I'm your brother, but not really. I'm your adopted brother," he paused looking Mitsu in the eye. His purple eyes sparkled with concern for a second before returning to their normal state. "Mitsu," he said slowly, "You were adopted by Mom and Dad. You have no true family."

Not too fond of the noise either, the youngster shouted out over the shrieking. "Hey, cut that out!" Joey wailed, pulling his hat over his ears, praying that would help. "Do a Wrap attack!" He finally shouted, dropping to his knees as the sound finally subsided.
"Chabok!" Slithering forward at an alarming speed, the Poison type quickly coiled around Nitro's leg, snapping at him with his speedy jaws. Bending his body, the Charizard moved with alarming dexterity, nimbly dodging the snake's attempted Bites. One such attempt made for an opportunistic uppercut. Nitro began to chuckle in amusement as the snakes wrapped body bounced back like some sort of weighted punching bag. Soon the Pokemon had turned this into a sort of sparring match, dodging and ducking like a Hitmonchan, jabbing the Arbok with his fists.
"Haha, that's the way to do it!" Mike laughed with his Pokemon, quite giddy with Nitro's display of power. Arbok however, was not as happy, neither was his trainer, who stood there, mouth agape in disbelief. Upon seeing Joey's horrified expression, Mike just couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Ok Nitro," He said, wiping a tear from his eye. "finish the poor thing off, will ya?" He let out a sigh, glad that he let his friend have at least one match.
The dragon smirked a devious and toothy grin, grabbing the edges of Arbok's frill and bringing his head down on the snake. He wriggled his leg free and delivered one final punch square in the side of the head, the snake crumbling on the ground in a purple heap.
Joey felt a hand on his shoulder, and jumped a little. "Nothing personal, he just needed to fight something." It was Mike, who wore a disarming smile. "I felt bad for cooping him up in that Pokeball for so long ya know?" Joey kept the same frightened expression, nodding slowly as he recalled his battered Arbok.
Nitro beat his wings in victory, letting out a triumphant roar before being recalled into his Pokeball.
"Now let's go get our Pokemon healed." The brown haired boy laughed once more, making his way to the Pokemon Center just ahead.

Raichu looked at his damaged tail in disdain; it was bent and mangled into an odd angle. He sighed, shoulders slumping, and watched Bahamut flying around him. He could hear Surge calling out for him to use another Mega Punch, and weakly the mouse Pokemon staggered forward, trying to summon the energy to perform his attack. He reared back, preparing to strike Bahamut on the nose with his powerful Mega Punch, and in his mind's eye, the attack was perfect; his glowing fist slammed into the Vibrava, sending her reeling for a critical hit and KO'ing her...
But in reality, the Raichu toppled forward, the radiance on his hand fading to a low dim before vanishing completely, and he collapsed pretty much on top of Bahamut, too weak to continue.

Nina sighed, and slid down onto the ground, resting on her knees. She hung her head, holding her face in her hands. "There's no way that I'm going into another building," she mumbled. "Maybe there's a computer that I can use to hack into the Viridian Gym's computer files... I'd just need an extremely smart genius to do the hacking for me. That's just... spectacular superfantabulous, that is."
Taking her hands away from her face, she sighed. Getting to her feet, Nina started walking around, making her way to the northwestern section of the city, searching around for the library. She went inside, looking around at the interior of the place. For such a small building, it housed a lot of books, but luckily enough there was no old, musty smell about the area. Looking around for a short time, Nina located the computers. Sitting down, she turned one on, and waited for it to boot up. She peeked over the top of the monitor, and looked around to see the other people in the building.
"Hm," she said quietly, "I wonder if any of those people know how to hack into top-secret files related to one of the most powerful men in Kanto..."
"I may," a voice said, coming from behind her.

Still enraged, Bagon opened her mouth and spat out another small blast of fire, the ground-bound Venomoth finding it impossible to dodge. It flapped its one good wing rapidly, trying to put some distance between it and the angry young dragon. At the same time, it released a highly Toxic dust from its powdery wings, Bagon taking a blast right in the face. The toxic spores settled into her skin and she suddenly felt weak, like the energy was being drained right out of her. The poison would steadily become stronger in her system, so she knew she had to put an end to this now. She flailed her arms in the air wildly before running forward, her head lowered as she charged. She rammed into the Venomoth with a rather powerful Headbutt, knocking both contenders back. Bagon staggered, feeling the effects of the toxins wreaking havoc in her system, while the purple Venomoth collapsed, its wings twitching ever so slightly. Lisa growled before recalling him too, already holding her next Pokeball in her hand.

Upon being crushed by the tawny pokemon Bahamut gave an indignant squack and flapped her wings as fast as she could trying to get up. However the Raichu was much heavier then the small dragon could lift. Resolving herself the Vibrava just lay there underneath the unconscious pokemon. Now that she was being held still she realized that she was pretty tired herself and soon drifted off into an exausted sleep.
Dante who stood there for a moment not sure what had just happened watched his pokemon fall asleep. Apollo however did have an idea and trotted over and nudged his back a bit as if encouraging him to go forward. Reaching into his bag he recalled Bahamut and slipped her pokeball back inside. "Errr... Thank you very much for the battle Liuetenant Sir." He said not quite sure what else to say. ((I dont really read what they say I just hit the Aqua button. XP))

"Hello Nurse Joy." Mike unclipped Beacon, Xanthos' and Nitro's Pokeballs from his strap, placing them in a tray marked 'In'. "Could you have these Pokemon healed for me and my young friend here?" He tilted his head at Joey, who was still staring at Poliwrath's device.
"I'll take that for you." Nurse Joy said with a smile that could cause even a rampaging Tyranitar to settle down. She reached out her hand, gently taking the Pokeball. Joey's face turned red as her silk smooth hand briefly brushed against his.
Mike had made his way to a vending machine, taking out a small bag of chips and happily munching on them. "Man, it feels like forever since I've eaten anything!" ((Wink wink oldbies, wink wink.)) The boy entertained himself by eating as noisily as he could, quite pleased with himself.
Joey sat on the couch, replaying the battle over in his mind, specifically the Poliwrath incident.

Nina felt her face turn at least ten different shades of red. She recognized that voice. She stood, and slowly turned around.
"It's been awhile since I've seen you last, Nina!" Raimundo said, a soft grin playing on his lips. "How have you been?"
THIS.IS.NOT.FAIR. Nina kept mentally repeating that to herself. The last time I saw this kid, I was with Sabrina, Anna, and Sasha... Now I'm all alone! Aaaah! Trying to compose herself, the girl smiled, and flipped her hair over her shoulder a little. "I've been... well, all things considered, pretty good." She was lying through her teeth, of course. "How about you, Raimundo? How've you been?" "I've been pretty good too," Raimundo replied, smiling a little more. "Same stuff, different day for the most part though, you know? On the plus side, I got myself a few new Pokemon though."
Nina grinned. "Awesome!" she replied, the redness on her face fading a little. "You could say that about me too. There's been... oh, a couple additions to my team." The boy chuckled. "Well, if you don't mind, whatsay we have a little battle in awhile? It's been quite awhile since our last one, and what better way to catch up?" He smiled, and the sun seemed to get brighter.
Oh.My.Gaw. Stop smiling! Nina thought, about ready to burst. "That'd be cool, yeah," she replied, trying to keep her composure. "But uhm... First, I've gotta get a little bit of work done on the computer." The boy nodded. "That's right, you said you needed someone to help you do some hacking. I will have you know that I just so happen to be a computer whiz, and hacking is one of my specialties."
Nina grinned, and grabbed another chair, pulling it up to the computer, and sitting down in it. She motioned for Rai to sit in the one she was previously in, and he obliged. "All right Nina," he said, connecting to the Internet, "what exactly did you need to... get information about?"

"The challenger and his Vibrava are the winners!" Glen said, waving the flags around and climbing down from his post. It seemed as though the young guitarist hadn't been an official referee for very long.
Surge walked over to where his Raichu now lay, slumped on the floor. He lifted the tired mouse up, and Raichu opened his eyes, weakly climbing up onto his master's shoulder to rest. The leader was eyeing Dante carefully now, and he nodded, as something seemed to click into place. "I know who you are now," he said, scratching his chin. "I'd recognize those cheekbones anywhere. You're Violet Remington's little boy. Although now you ain't so little anymore, are ya?"
