Remmy looked at the picture. He hadn't seen her others but he knew that those with passion usually looked a bit more enthusiastic than she did currently. It really was a common type of painting, similiar to many with it's own slight differences.

::fixes the part where she spilled the paint, then picks up a paint splattered hair dryer and starts going over the picture with it:: This is the ugliest thing. But you know what? This is more likely to be bought and hung in someone's living room than something else. A picture I finished last month, that I'd been working on for about 9 months was bought to hang in someone's bathroom. ::sighs and adds her signature to the bottom with white paint:: I don't even want to claim this.

((achoo!)) ::sets the painting under a vent so the air will dry it better.:: There. I should call the gallery to tell them that it's ready. ::picks up a cordless phone laying nearby and dials it, speaking briefly, asking for someone to come pick it up. From her end of the conversation, it sounds like there isn't anyone to do it. Floyd seems to have dissappeared after the artwork was dropped off::

Remmy tilted his head slightly. "What's wrong? Do they not have anyone to come pick it up?" The look on her face wasn't exactly an overly happy expression. His brow furrowed as he wodred what was wrong.

::hangs up the phone:: no. All their messengers scattered after they dropped off their shipments. ::glares at the ugly picture as if this were it's fault::

"Hmm. Well, I can take it to them I suppose." he said, going back to his earlier offer. If they needed it for the gallery it wasn't that big of a deal to go that far since she needed it.

Only if you don't mind. They throw big fits about big holes in their shows. ::sighs:: I hate to put you through the trouble, though.
PostPosted: Mon Dec 20, 2004 3:24 pm

Remmy shrugged it off. "Don't worry about it. It's not too much trouble and it'd probably be annoying to have them call and complain. And like I said, you need the money and I'm living with you so It's the least I can do." he said, smiling gently at her.

::smiles:: thank you. ::carefully touches the painting to see if it's dry enough to wrap up, and it is, thanks to her own special mixture of paint she uses. she takes a cloth out of the closet and binds the painting up:: You can use my car. I hope it runs alright, it hasn't been driven in over a year. ::goes and opens a drawer, pulling out a set of keys::
PostPosted: Mon Dec 20, 2004 3:40 pm

He gently took the painting from her and then held his hand out for the keys. He hoped the car worked too but if it didn't he could always use a little bit of what he learned at the academy. He would just have to make sure no one saw him since that would get points taken off. Not that he really cared anymore.

::hands him the keys and kisses him on the cheek:: thanks again. ::goes with him to the door, wrinkling her nose:: Jeeze, won't that smell EVER go away?! ::picking up the lysol again:: Be careful. The car is in the parking garage around the corner, a blue mazda with a big sloppy pink flower painted on the hood.

He kissed her on the nose and then wrinkled his own, not just from the smell but from the car. "I get to drive a car with a big pink flower on it." he said, chuckling and shaking his head. "Oh well, if everyone thinks I'm gay then no girl will bother trying to steal me from you."

Hey, that's one of my first pieces of art ::lifts her chin haughitly:: I did that when I was five. And no girl better go after you. Germs or no, I'd go out and beat her.
PostPosted: Mon Dec 20, 2004 4:23 pm

He chuckled again. "Don't worry, I'm going to be in the car most of the time. I could always go put on tight leather pants and a pink silk shirt." He was grinning, though he would seriously do it if she wanted him to. He had no interest in other women and he hadn't really felt any attraction to any of the other girls that had walked past him as he had sat at the library steps.

That's alright. The car will be fine ::grins:: Plus you're going into an art gallery. That should defer them. ::hands him a paper with directions she'd scribbled down quickly. It was easy enough. One highway, and one other street. Not a problem::
