He got changed and scrubbed his face and leaned against the door. "Jus tell me when yer done ya?" He didn't want to just open the door and risk Kaleb flailing at him.

Kaleb paused when Riley spoke up, but then quickly finished pulling off his shirt and slipped into the one Riley was letting him borrow. It was really baggy, the sleeves hung down to his elbows instead of looking like short sleeves, but it was comfortable enough. "I-I'm done," he called.

He opened the door and had to stop himself from snickering at the image of Kaleb in his shirt. He really did look like a twelve year old like that. "Ready for bed then?"

Kaleb nodded, and wiggled under the covers with a contented smile. "Yeah, I'm ready." He set his glasses in a safe place for the night and yawned again as he waited for Riley to join him.

"Good." He yawned and crawled into bed. Burying himself under the covers he wrapped his arms around Kaleb and nuzzled against his neck.

Kaleb smiled and relaxed the moment he felt Riley's arms on his waist and muzzle against his neck. He was fast asleep in minutes, and started drooling peacefully on the pillow under his head.

Thankfully he didn't notice Kaleb drooling or he would have thrown a fit.

The next morning he shifted and grumbled as his body tried to wake him up faster than he wanted to be awake.

Kaleb wiggled a bit, trying to stay comfortable with Riley's shifting. He had been awake for a bit, but without his book or a safe way to get up and find something to bring back to bed with him, he had just tried to go back to sleep. With a little sigh he twisted around so he could lie on his side facing Riley.

He really didn't pay attention to Kaleb shifting since he was trying to stay asleep. The little mage would be stuck until he got up since he couldn't really go anywhere on his own.

Kaleb blinked at Riley, and then pressed his nose against his partner's muzzle. "I know you're awake," he whispered. He was kind of hungry and kind of bored, but it wasn't like he could fix either of those problems on his own.

To the little mage, Riley's protest was just more evidence that he was really awake. He nudged his partner's muzzle and fidgeted. "You are to."

He shook his head slightly. Nope not awake. Kaleb could poke him all he wanted and he wasn't going to move until he was good and ready

Kaleb nudged a bit more insistently. "Come on, you're awake!" He nudged a second time and added a short lick in an attempt to get Riley's attention.

"Too early!" he whined. His alarm hadn't gone off which meant he didn't have to be awake yet.
