Ty spent many days in the library studying, but remembered just in time that he had to meet up with the rest. He came up behind the group just as man with poor english speaking skills stepped forward to speak. Some reason he felt obligated to speak to them in their native tounge, but didn't and let Epotheros continue as head of the group.

When they finally docked Clover was utterly amazed by difference of this place to where they had ventured from. Repeating her actions at the port from before she looked about excitedly. Clover couldn’t understand any of this foreign language. The script upon the various and signs and such had no meaning to her. She started to feel uncomfortable. She wasn’t used to not being able to understand those speaking around her. Wondering what the people around her were saying she noticed a group of men approach them. Again Clover couldn’t understand a word of this odd language. Finally someone who spoke English asked them to follow him. Clover let out a sigh of relief and followed along with the others.

They were lead to the palace where there was quite a fuss. Most of the people there had never seen anyone of a different race before and their gazes were full of awe. When they reached the emperor, he begain speaking and his translator translated.
"We sent oul best men to defaet it. None of them came back arive. They wele arr highry tlained demon srayers. The demon itserf is rocated in the oni giri shline on top of the mountain. Prease help us."
"We will help you your majesty, just lead the way and we will deal with it."
A few chuckles came out from the soldiers and some said, "Baka Gaijin," and "Bakano." They were then order to take the group to the shrine. IT was an old run down temple that had many spider webs and some very huge spiders the size of dogs. Epotheros was able to keep most of them as bay with a torch, but some of them were bold and attacked the group, their foot long fangs dripping with deadly venom.

With the deterant aura of the flame near the front of the group, and Ty's dark silouette at the back, Ty had to give a handful of none-too-gentle smacks to the more brave of the pests, knocking them several yards back into the group. The few times venom was spat at him, Ty simply dematerialized so that the toxic waste passed through him and landed on the ground harmlessly. What sort of vermin should we come faced with in this jungle..? He woundered to himself as he resisted the urge to fly ahead of the group to scout out their new foe.

The palace was intriguing to say the least. Clover went along taking in everything she heard and saw. Once they were led to the temple her guard was up. Though Clover wasn’t afraid of insects she wasn’t very found of spiders. The eight-legged creatures didn’t necessarily scare her as much as make her feel uneasy. She had always thought them to be foul. Anything that would drain any living creature of its life, its blood, couldn’t be respected in her eyes.
Clover sternly kept her eyes on the spiders with her dagger in her hand, bits of wind trailing around it at times. Walking near the center of the group Clover still felt anxious. When a few of the creatures became bold enough to attack them she slashed at one nearest to her. The wind flew off of her dagger slicing an aggressive spider in two.

As the spiders made their advances, Epotheros simply brushed a half dozen or so off with a quick jet of fire that caused the remainders of the group to disappear into the darkness. The group soon made it to a hall way that was lined on each side with 6 humanoid statues. All of them were drapped in cobwebs, and they all looked rather menacing. They seemed to be armed with clubs and spears, but their faces looked other wordly. They we long and narrow, with large square noses.
When they were in the middle of the hall there was a loud scrapping noise which caused Epotheros to turn around rather suddenly. When he looed the two end statues had moved so they were now blocking the exit. While Epotheros was looking dumbfoundedly at the two statues a gray object moved quickly in his perithial vision. He was able to move out of the way fast enough to prevent his skull from being smashed, but the club had taken a fair chunk of skin from his cheek, which was now heavily bleeding.
Epotheros quickly drew his longsword, surrounding it with its usual burning aura and using it to slice through the statue, turning what ever stone it touches instantly into liquid rock. THe attack looked simular to someone using a hot knife to cut through butter. With that one now dispatched eEpotheros quickly took care of the one on the opposing side.

As the two stone figures behind him turn to block thier escape route, another one goes into attacking Epotheros. Seeing the imediate hostility, Ty drops a shadow blanket below their last step, so that the stone figures fell into it and reappeared forty feet in the air, only to come crashing down and shattering into peices upon impact with his upward swing of his staff.

Clover was relieved to escape the mob of arachnids. As they walked through the hall Clover felt an unsettling shift in the air. An unfamiliar noise reached her ears. What is that? she thought to herself. Now she realized that the two statues were blocking the exit, and that one was attacking Epotheros. Luckily he was able to defeat it easily. She turned her body about surveying the hall for anymore threats. Noticing that Ty and Epotheros had taken care of the attackers Clover just stood there waiting for what would come next.

Epotheros felt that Ty's method of destroying the statues by shattering them by using acceleration due to gravity was rather reckless, but was relieved he didn't have to use any more energy is the fight. The group then continues through the corridor and entered a very large room, which was decorated with very large webs. All of a sudden human bodies fell from the celing and stoped with a jolt a few inches from the ground hanging there like marrionet puppets. They were the bodies of the demon slayers but were quite clearly dead. They all had their weapons with them, which they began to brandish at the group. The demon slayers then lunged forward towards the members of the group with actions simular to a puppet being controlled by a puppetier. There were 20 of them in all, 15 of them with katanas, 5 with spears and all of them had other secondary weapons such as a kasi gama (chain scyth).

Ty could almost hear Epotheros roll his eyes, but he didn't care, they made it past okay. In the next room, Ty was faintly able to pick out manipulative threads connecting the dead humanoid puppets to something above, possibly Zant's newest pet for us to destroy. Noticing the 'wear down' techniques being played on them, Ty stayed with his back to the group and more defended than attacked...no point in killing the dead. A stray spear was launched at the back of Epotheros's head, but Ty managed to toss a knife to cut off the point so instead only a blunt wooden pole flung his way. It couldn't kill or knock him out anymore, but he would definitely feel it hit him. An idea struck him, as he watched Epotheros fighting. Still only repelling the foes as oppossed to attacking them, Ty edged closer to Epotheros as he called over to him, "Light me!"

Doubt began to trail about in Clover’s mind once again. The group had now entered a large room, and Clover didn’t like the idea of meeting whatever had created the large webs adorning the vast majority of the room. A small shriek of surprise left her mouth when dead bodies fell from above. Obviously these figures were dead, yet they moved freely as if life had been suddenly pumped back into them. The wind circling around her dagger extended it into a small sword and strengthen its current. Clover was ready to defend herself.

Epotheros tilted his head to the side allowing the wooden pole of the spear to sail freely in the space inbetween his neck and shoulder. He wathced the people surround them and ready their weapons, but Epotheros was not amused. Their attacks would be fairly weak compaired to what they have already encountered. This was most likely a diversion inorder to capture their attention while the mail threat plots and plains a stradegy. When he heard TY's suggestion, Epotheros thought this would be a good way to counter the diversion, while still being able to know what is going on around him.
"Alright Ty, Destructive Art # 33 Shot of Red Fire!"
A red balll of flame then shot out from Epotheros' palm and hit Ty square in his back spreding like wild fire around his entire body.

Ty becomes completely enveloped in the flames from Ep and launches himself out into the crowd of already dead warriors.Making sure to hit/touch every one of them at least once, he succeeds in damaging most of their bodies beyond physical use, but more importantly, he is able to shed a bright light in the room enough to show portions of the higher enemy they had come to defeat. The remaining undead not completedly engulfed in the all consuming flame had much of their skin hanging off their bones as they sluggishly tried to fight. Not bothering with the flame around his body, Ty tears through another dead body with a flaming, back spin, swing of his staff.

As Ty was busy attacking the dead bodies, there was also something more minute happening. One every member there was planted a small spider, with a thread attaching to somthing on the ceiling of the the dark arena. Just then the thread thikened and begain to wrap itself around the hosts body, attacking itself the the joints inorder for what ever it was to gain control.
When this threat arised Epotheros quickly stated to thrash at the threads, which were more like steel cables now with his sword, but to no avail. He then tried to cut through them with his blade heated up, but besides being 100 times stronger than steel, he was stuck in an akward position and cutting through them took far to long with his limited range of motion. He had one final option left. He concentrated his energy as wings unfolded behind him. They were blazing with feathers made of flame and where able to burn their way through the threads and a spread with a full wingspan of 20 feet. The light they emited was bright enough to illuminate the entire caver with an orange glow to reveal a gigantic spider over 50 feet long clinging to the celing of the room.

Ty wistles at the sight of the big, overhead, spider. "I don't suppose we could make a bargain..?" It spits a huge wad of poison at Ty, but the poison is eaten by flames before ever reaching him. Ty sighs, "I didn't think so." To Epotheros and gang: "You know, I sure could go for some 'Grilled Arachnid' right about now, what about you?"
