Jal was happy this woman seemed to not hate him after this incident, and he was indeed incredibly grateful of how she had so readily helped him. "I coulda sworn you'rn a whole one!" He replied. "If you weren't before, betcha are now!"
Jal blushed at her shared 'wisdom', "Yeah Altaira, I wouldn' of done such a thing had ma life not of been on the line, but as ya could see it was." He blushed even more, "I mean, I didn' know she was still such a youngn', she could of passed fore older' then ya... that woman." He tried to save himself pointing to a woman of similar looking age as Altaira. "Plus her father was mighty jealous. Wasn' a good thing him walkin in like... oh hail you don wanna know all this. Kay, I was dumb and I un let my wrong self think just this ONCE but yeah I'm normally of high mor-al-at-tea." Jal tipped his head down, sulking a bit, "Hail, this day aint goin' well at all. All Saviours Day INDEED! Aint no spook gonna save me."

Heather was glad her sceptor went out though she didn't know what is was for, she was more worried about the normal looking boy she now had as a son and a rather large black cat.
She knelt down beside Amkia looking a little worried. She hugged him and smiled, he looked fine. "I want to leave, we have to find Susa's sister anyway." Heather stood up, still holding her sceptor and looked around.
She looked to see if there was a way out of the celebrations and saw Al again with a boy and smiled, she wouldn't interrupt but...
She walked over not directly, more to walk past her, as she did she chukled a little, her own black cat now just around her neck, as Kala was harmless for the time being and Amkia, just a normal boy by her side. She winked at Al and then chuckled, moving away slowly but to linger near by, for two reasons, one so that Kala could be laughed at by Sindri and two, so Heather could listen in to Al's conversation. She was curious!

Altaira only let her attention wander in order to say a thankyou for the interesting flask she was given. It was strung onto one of her four belts around her waist, to hang with the less decorative, smaller flask, a dagger, a pouch and a crystal she carried there too. It was too pretty to be carried like this normally, however.
While turned briefly away from Jal, she spotted Heather and smiled back at her, mounthing 'come over if you want' quickly - maybe too quickly to be understood. Then her grey eyes were back on Jal.
"It's fine. I mean, that you hid. And even if you made a mistake with her age, which, can be hard to judge...people always get my age wrong... I just hope you didn't break the lass' heart." Altaira shrugged. It wasn't her buisness, truely. Maybe she should get Sindri back to WInd Wheels soon...though he looked happier, having seen Kala shrunk down to his size. Temporary but heartening.
"All Saviours...I wonder who got chosen."

Looking around at the slowly dispersing crowd and back to Clostho, Lorelei took a small step forward. Vanna giggled. "Wanna see!" she cooed.
Lorelei looked down to smile at her daughter, and was surprised to find her skin slowly turning bluer and bluer.... no, purple. Breaking out into a genuine smile, Lorelei lifted her head a little higher and made her way, carefully, up the dais.
"Clostho," she said, reverting to that language she was so unfamiliar with, "congratulations, friend. Not know you here." She smiled up at the woman, trying to ignore the White Secters all about.

"Lorelei!" The word, as pretty as it was, was practically butchered by the growling tone in her voice. "Thank you, SpeechSister. Isn't it unbelievable?" The woman knelt down and crawled off the dais, much to the chagrin of the Heraph, who held his tongue, but kept his eyes firmly on the new Peress. "Peress. I do not know yet whether I am glad... or scared." She laughed. "Maybe both."

"Very," Lorelei laughed, shifting Vanna on her hip. The girl, skin now with a uniform purplish tinge, reached out for Clostho. Her hair was straightening out a little, falling out of its waves incrementally.
"You make wonderful leader, no worry. I am sure."

Heather just chuckled and continued back out the city towards her caravan with Amkia beside her and a car that seemed to slowly be growing again by her side.
"Amkia, Can you go find Susa and meet us at the caravan? That way I can get some things packed."
Amkia looked up at his mother, his sweet eyes, innocent as always. "OK Mother!" He danced about a little as they walked, as if he was flying in the air. He stopped and looked around trying to spot Susa as she probably wouldn't recognize him without his wings.
Heather rushed back to the caravan it took a while and she had to have a drink when she got back, giving Kala one as well she packed a few things to take with them as she didn't have any idea how long this trip would take and she wanted to be back in not too long, at least on horse back it would make things move faster.
She rushed around moving things about, making sure there was food left so if Amkia got hungry he could eat. She wanted him to stay at the caravan, just so that is any trouble came he wouldn't get hurt. He was safe in the caravan.

The ceremony seems to be continuing towards the river. The thought reminds her of her next task at hand. She must get to the docks. But...
She thought of Rojiza. How concerned she had been, how Caroline's kind words had helped her in her times of sorrow, and the unnecessary guilt that the squirrel girl suffered because of Kale's fate. She felt like she should find her, connect with her, before she continued further.
...But how? She had not seen her at the Choosing. She must have gone to the All-Saivor's Day festivities. How was she to get in touch with her? She looked around as she walked, hoping for a glimpse of bushy tail of dancing skirts, but to no avail.

You and your little one... you'll have to come and visit me, down south, yes? You can bring all of your gypsies." She leaned in close. "I will not pretend you do not exist." She smiled.

Susa remained in the city center, waiting- and trusting that Heather would return. She sat on the rim of a large fountain, and touched the map whose glow still lingered, dim but visible, on her dress.

Amkia was dancing still as he walked untill he saw Susa, then he ran over.
"Susa come on, we got ot find your sister, mother said to take you to our caravan!" He took her hand and started to pull her, jumping up and down a little as he moved. "Mother is getting a horse ready so you can all ride there!" He smiled trying to tug her to move faster. He wanted some time to himself for the first time in his life!

Lorelei smiled brilliantly, then, hugging her back, her one eye twinkling. Vanna hugged, too, happy to be a part of this big group hug.
"I make sure we visit," she laughed as she pulled back. "Make sure... you have muffins for gypsies." Another laugh. She shot a small glance up to the Heraph, a little interested to see his reaction to a diseased woman with a gypsy child hugging his Peress.

Who Marissa did recognize next was Lorelei, as unfamiliar as she still looked physically. Vanna, she saw, was still fighting back signs of the de-magicking. They were speaking to the new Perress. Shyly, she approached them.
"Um, Lor, Sister..." she tapped her lightle on the shoulder.

Amkia was just glad she didn't mention the lack of his wings and felt rather special to recieve a kiss.
He led her out the city and to the caravan where his mother was just loading some stuff onto one of the horses, Kala was laying down by her feed.
"Mother, here is Susa!" He smiled as he let go of Susa and ran to his mother, giving her a hug before rushing inside the caravan to watch the birds, he hadn't spent much time with the new one.
Heather smiled at Amkia and Susa, hugging her son back she then turned to Susa, "Can you ride? These two aren't like a normal ride and it will have to be bareback but they are good and fast, we will cover alot of ground quickly." She smiled as she tightened the fastens on one of them.
"ready?"
