'Her' world, huh?... "That's fascinating--don't know how you could possibly find yourself uninteresting with that kind of... It's almost as if you imprint your mind on your physical surroundings--is it?"

"Something akin to that," raven smiled slightly. "There's a little more to it than that, but basically, yes."
In Hisoka's opinion, there was a great deal more to it than that. raven's emotions seemed to govern the exterior of the Nest-- a forest meant she was in a calmer mood than say, the day she'd come home from the shop and the storm had whipped up outside, complete with tornados, brushfires, and the complete apocalyptic scene.

Did she really grasp the magnitude of what she was saying? Or was she just used to it? Keeping an eye on the Nest might be a good idea in the future, he noted, before venturing forth once more, with what he wasn't sure but anything to keep the conversation going, right? "So what's your favorite sweet?"

(Not) Surprisingly, raven was prepared for this question. "Sour watermelons or chocolates," she smiled. "Which reminds me-- would you care for some?" she asked, pulling a (rather large) bag of each from somewhere and placing them on the desk.

All warnings about taking candy from strangers flew straight out the window, like so many children when the ice cream truck drives by. "Absolutely," the puppy cried joyfully, already gooey heart melting like butter into raven's favor. Oh yes, he definitely liked her now.

raven laughed at Hisoka's sigh in the background. "Take as much as you want," she offered-- it was a very good thing for her that she could get more of those. A VERY good thing.
If Hisoka weren't so amused by Tsuzuki's antics, he would have reminded the wolf to mind his manners or something like that-- but watching Tsuzuki like this was just too cute... not that the cat would ever come near saying anything like that...

Perhaps it is owed to Hisoka's credit that Tsuzuki did not devour the contents of the bag, the bag itself and the hand holding the bag whole. It was the kitten's presence that kept the wolf in (questionable) control of his sweet tooth, you see.
Taking a seat (where he could find one) and likewise taking a couple pieces of each type of candy with a "Thank you~," and a nod, Tsuzuki cocked his head to the side as if hoping a good question might pop out unexpected. Despite how much he had anticipated finally meeting raven, he couldn't for the life of him recall anything really important he'd wanted to say...

raven smiled slightly. "Hisoka tells me that the two of you were on a mission when you landed here on Gaia," she started, eating a few sour watermelons herself.

((Helloooo~ double post.))
"Oh, right, that..." Tsuzuki remembered abruptly. Uh oh. How were they supposed to finish the mission if they were stuck here on... not to mention the fact that so many other members of their Department were in Gaia as well.
...Oops.

Noting Tsuzuki's look, raven pet the wolf gently. "Now, now. Don't get so upset. I've been working with Tatsumi on how we might be able to get in contact with your Chief."
Well, that was the first time Hisoka'd heard THAT...

There's tact and then there's tact. And then, over there in the corner, staring quite happily at a spot of light on the wall, there's Tsuzuki. "How--how are you doing that?" he demanded by way of response. The obvious thoughts took root in his mind, those suggesting that if there was a way to contact home, there must be a similar way to get back.

raven blinked. "Well, Tatsumi was suggesting to me that since your world must be parallel to Gaia, that if we figure out where they match, we should be theoretically able to contact your Chief..."

"How would we recognize it, though?" Tsuzuki continued, used to thinking aloud in situations like these and not about to change his habits if they didn't seem to be offending. "And if we can communicate, why not cross over altogether?"

Muraki worked in secret, in silence. He needed to finish... soon.
