Malik watched and shook his head lightly. he didn't understand the language..but picked up the riens and looked at them. Not serinos..where do you get reins at if you don't get them off the horse. well from the person keeping them. where do you keep horses in a city? the local stable.

"the child is here, and you saw them at the stables."

That lead to a commotion outside, and Malik went to the window, grinning lightly.

"Or, she's out riding on a lizard with a large black winged Vah. Perhaps Onyx of Vah needed a little riding lesson."


"Oh come on she knows how to ride she's fine..."

Then the Iaaaaah word, and the lizard started moving, and Onyx chuckled at it left Moon to fall on the ground. and what better way to learn then a road test. so he'd hit the rein buttons, and grinned as teh lizard would turn this way and that.

"This isn't so hard. now to get him to stop, you just hit both these buttons at the same time, right?"

"Well...that was fun, wasn't it?" Piper shook her head as Aslyn left. Honestly did she have to bring Serino into the equation about it? Made her worry about him...but it was fun to watch Malik go about guessing answers. Crossing her arms she walked over to the window as well, taking a look down at the sight. She tilted hre head, studying the two. "Looks like them...I guess."

She smiled. "Quite a bit? Depends on how much you trust me to be out another elf. Humans...no problem. If I was betting on me I would wager a rather large chunk of change...of course this is from the person who doesn't use money much and doesn't really care about the value of it. But we both know I'm a rather seasoned archer. She looked out to the Vahs again, getting that slight itch to leave the room and actually find out if they really were Cymie's kids. She could still remember how little they were. Then a shake of her head. "Well if she was, it's nothing a few good manners and pets won't get out of her next time we see her."

Moonstone stood, shook his head. Okay, maybe he shouldn't be too hard on Onyx, he was only doing what he wanted to do after all. He himself had entered a sword fight, just to get some practice in and see what his training had accomplished. He wasn't really set on winning or losing, he just wanted to see.

He threw the cloak over one shoulder and walked around a bit, resigned to let Onyx have his fun for the moment. They would need a place to stay, of course. Hmmm, he hadn't thought about that. They'd need money. And since Onyx had what was left of their earnings, moonstone would have to hire himself out for some odd jobs. Hmmm, where to look. Perhaps he could get a small task at the arena, that way he could stay close to the tourney games.

The Lizard did not stop when Onyx flipped the eye covers. But Bode, sudenly wide eyed with panic, shouted, "Yani!" a short, clipped command. The lizard skidded to a halt just before running over a gaurd that it couldn't see. Teary eyed, she turned back ti kitty.

I'm sorry! I almost hurted somebody!"

She looked to him with one of those looks she gave him when he was thinking about doing things that he shouldn't be doing at the present time. Oh things like maiming the locals for no reason, or as now, trying to get her in bed knowing full well it wasn't the best time in the world. Not with an impending tournament. "You know...I'm fairly not in the mood to be getting armor on and off fairly quickly." Piper shook her head with a laugh, trying to regain her cognative thought. She needed it rigth now. Frankly her mind was starting to be mean to her about this whole Vah thing. "You can't kill him."

She took hold of his one roaming hand in both of hers. Not that she didn't like it, it was the fact that she did like it that she grabbed hold. What now? He was trying to seduce her then act like he wasn't? Oh she knew the game, they both played it all too well. "Careful Malik, or you may not get to share a bed with me in the manner you prefer until after we are married." Yeah, like that would happen, a game she would lose. "Besides, like you said, we don't know when this thing is going to start, no need to expend energy that you need." Ha ha, logic. Though her hands did play with his fingers lightly. "Good....try not to hurt him too bad either. I mean, you can fight him and all...just...well like I said don't kill him. That includes injuries that could kill him as well."

Moonstone was wandering mostly, trying to think what he could do to earn a bit of money to stay someplace tonight, but not willing to take on something demeaning for Vah, like mucking out a stall. Gardian ship kind of ran in the family. But those always came out of special relationships, so that was probably out of the question. Where then?
