She let out a sigh of relief and and a small shiver from his breath on her neck and the kiss she had missed so. She took his hand and followed back inside to the kids. "So you have to tell me about your manly adventure." She said after a short while.

"Oooohhh...I bet you run fast huh?? I'll race you to the lake! I bet the fishies are all so cold under the ice that we could break a little hole and catch a whole bunch for supper!"
Prissy got ready to sprint off.
"Ya ready? Ya Set? Okay...GO!"
And in a fit of giggles, Prissy was running (in a very girly way) toward the lake.~~ "Hmmm....well, it was interesting."
When they walked inside, he smiled at his children, a look that he hoped would let them know that things were okay.
"I was on my own most of the time, hunting and gathering...it reminded me a lot about what my mother used to tell me about when she was alone in the woods before she met my father."
He looked at his wife caustiously. He knew that the two of them had never really gotten along.
"I spent a lot of time outdoors, ya know...slept in caves mostly...met a few young baddies and taught them how to live off the land. Yep...definitely a man's adventure."
Mor plopped down on a big chair and his stomach rumbled. He was just about to ask Las about supper when suddenly the scent of leek soup caught his nose. He thought this was odd, because he was quite sure his mate had not been cooking when he arrived home. "Mor!"
Fallyn was at the front door with a steaming pot of leek soup. He stood there quite impatiently, her paw tapping the ground. Mor had left without a word to her or the rest of his family, and she was rather unhappy about that.
"Come on over and get this heavy pot!"Mor smiled to himself, though his was ready for the chaos this would bring He stood up and opened the door, taking the pot from his mother as he kissed her cheek.
"Hiya Mom."Pookie smiled as well, rushing over to give her grandmother a hug. This had been quite the family reunion tonight.

Landon walked over to his grandmother. "Hi!" He gave her a hug and a kiss and then wen tback to the couch not wanting to crowd the entry. ((before I RP lasciel I just want to see was it Las that got in a fight with her way back? before she had kids and that? I think it was but wasn't sure.))

He chuckled and nodded. "Pretty fast." He stamped his hooves some, moving a little forward. The moment she said go he started trotting, attempting to let her win. He had to fight back his own chuckles at the way she was running. He was so caught up in how intriguing her running was, he tripped.

Prissy heard a thud and turned around, spotting Jack on the ground.
"Oh dear!" she cried, hurrying back to him, "You're not hurt are you?"
Her emerald eyes showed genuine concern.
~~
((Yep, it was Las and Fallyn who fought))
Fallyn let herself in the rest of the way, stopping to hug both her grandchildren before settling down in the big chair Mor had previously been occupying.
"Mor, where in the world have you been? Can you imagine how much your father and brother and I have been worrying about you?"
"Eh...sorry, Mom"
Mor came back in with a large try and bowls of soup for everyone. He passed them around and sat on a loveseat.
"Ya know, just had to get away is all."

((kk))
Lasciel sauntered to the couch and gladly took the soup. "Hello Fallyn." She didn't get along with her mother-in-law very well, though who did? Usually she avoided any full family gatherings or visits or just kept herself busy in another room if anyone was over. Lasciel had an anger issue and most definetly with her love's mother. She no longer remembers why she had fought with the woman back then but the feelings lingered. "Mor is in trouble enough with us as is without everyone else bugging him."
Landon stared at his mother. "Mom." She didn't hear him and so he knew she was somewhat tryign to pick a fight with his grandmother. This couldn't go well but then again it's been awhile since she has tried.

He was sprawled out on the on the snow covered ground, chuckling in a silly manner. Only his deer half had hit the ground. He looked up with her with a smile. "Oh yes, I do that more often then I'd like to admit." He then started to get back up again.

Prissy giggled, relieved that he wasn't hurt, and took his arm to help him.
"Oh, good, I'm glad you're fine."
She smiles sweetly at him as a breeze flows past, causing her ebony hair to ruffle slightly. She tips her head a bit, looking up at him.
"Good thing snow is soft, huh?"
~~
Fallyn's right ear twitched slightly, and she turned her gaze to her son's mate. Her eyes narrowed a bit. The truth was, Fallyn had never liked this girl, and Mor had taken her as his mate against her wishes. She tolerated the femme mostly for love of her son and grandchildren, but she still had not fully accepted this little union.
"I think Mor should hear what I have to say. Afterall, Lasciel, you're not the only person in his life, you know."
She was obviously trying her control her own famous temper in the presence of her grandchildren.
Mor watched his mate and his mother closely, hoping that nothing more would be said on the matter. He hated when they fought, because he knew that they both had such extreme tempers, and they were not afraid to fight things out. His ears lay back on his head, and he was afraid to speak and anger either of these two strong women.
Pookie's eyes were wide. She could feel the tension in her little house, and she hated it. Immediately, she went to her brother's side.

Lasciel saw Pookie hide and that helped her to calm down slightly. She never liked making her children uneasy, but with this womon in the house her stress and temper level was high. "I know but I had been hoping after we became a family you would butt in so much. Your his mother, he has grown. There is a time where you just have to le tgo no matter how you feel." She fumed but held it in surprisingly keeping her voice low and level. "But for the sake of the children I would like to drop the subject now. Your son is with who he wants to be with."
Landon sighed and held onto to his little sister. "Mom." He whispered. He knew even though she was tryign to control herself that it may not work if his grandmother said the wrong thing. So he tried making little movements to get her attention in hopes of distracting her and making sure she realized that doing this now wouldn't help anything. "Mom, breath and jsut look at me, if you must please just walk out and fume. No one will be mad at you for it." He had in their fathers absence been trying to help his mothe rcontrol herself. He has to so usually seems the most level headed but with practicing control it comes natural. But their are times for himself it is hard. Just shows how much got past down to him from his mother.

Once he was up, with her help, he chuckled. "Thank you." He started to brush the snow off of his deer half. "Yeah, Winter is a grace time for me. Grass isn't as soft."

Prissy giggled and linked her arm with the taur's.
"Come on, lets go to the lake, but this time we'll go slow so we don't have any more falls!"
She smiled at him, her sweet smile that was so well known of her.
~~
Fallyn's eyes narrowed in an anger that she had extreme trouble controlling. She rose from her seat, setting her own bowl of stew down on an end table.
"I have 'let go' as much as a mother can, Lasciel. I have kept my lips pressed while my son marries a woman I never got along with. I have helped all I could with ensuring that the two of you had what you needed when you were starting out. I have loved these children more than I could ever love any children, and when my son left, I spent every day trying to figure out what had gotten into his head. I spent every day trying to find him, so that I could figure out what ridiculous thought had entered his mind and told him that it would be ok to leave his mate and his children," her eyes turned to Mor, who had not even said a word in her defense, "because if you had stopped to listen, Lasciel, or if you had bothered to clear the air for me to finish speaking, Mor, you would have known that I am most angry that any son of mine would leave his mate alone the way he did," she looked back at the girl, "You would know that I came here to stand on your side, Las."
Fallyn, so angry, simply walked out of the house and stood on the front porch, battling with herself over whether she should stay, or just go and leave this family alone.
Mor could not speak. He set his bowl of half-eaten stew down and hung his head low. What had he done? How could he have let all the most important people in his life down so much..?

He smiled back, stumbling some since he wasn't concentrating on walking, instead he was focused on her smile. "After that fall I could really use some fish." He chuckled, looking forward towards the lake.

Prissy nodded her agreement and began walking, her arms remaining linked with his. she led him straight to the lake, which was still frozen. She let out a tiny squeal and ran over to the side, peering into the icy water. Sure enough, a few cold fish still lingered toward the top. Prissy pointed at them.
"Aha! I knew they'd be in there! See, Jack?"

Landon was the only one willign to do anythign this second. And either the most brave or stupid child he went out the door to reassure his grandmother it was alright. "Gran? Ignore what mom said, she'll come around. I am sure what you said got to her, so few things can do that but I believe this is one of those times. She is overwhelmed and you most of all should know that. Especially since oddly in your differences you are both very alike." He sounded older then, he even felt older. His father having gone pushed him to grow up faster than a normal child would have. He had become man of the house in his fathers long absence. He hugged her tight trying to help her calm down and hopefully she would not leave.
She was stricken. Frozen staring at the wall not really there, amazed that the woman she hated so was siding with her of all people. This horrid woman...but was she really? She couldn't tell anymore and she hated herself for saying what she did but also felt odd in her own skin for feeling slightly sorry. "Mor I love you." It's all she could say before heading for the door abandoning her soup. She leaned on the frame and knocked. "Fallyn?"

Fallyn was a woman who let so few emotions pass their gate and actually show themselves to the world. When Landon had come out, she listened with one ear. Her arms her pressed tightly over her chest and she stared straight ahead as he spoke, fighting the tears which brimmed her eyes. She almost didn't move when her grandson hugged her, but then she allowed herself to wrap her arms around the child...no...he was not a child anymore...the young man, and her tears fell to matte the fur on her cheeks.
Mor watched his mate walk outside. He felt alone suddenly. He knew he would probably feel this way for a long time after this. He was ashamed of himself, angry with himself, disappointed with himself...
"I love you too, Las..." he whispered, though he knew she hadn't heard him.
Mor sighed inwardly and gathered up the dishes, then walked into the kitchen. He poked his head out and forced a smile onto his face.
"Would you like to help Daddy with the dishes, Pookie?"
Pookie nodded quietly and hurried into the kitchen. She slipped into her tiny apron and stood up on a step-stool. With a little purple cloth, she took the dishes her father was washing and helped by drying them and putting them away.
Fallyn quickly wiped her tears away when she heard Las' voice. She huffed and straightened herself up, gently letting her grandson out of their embrace. Without looking at the girl, she replied, "Yes, Lasciel?"
