The smile across his face only made the happiness inside her grow, a wide grin pressing her lips in reply. Feeling a set of arms around her and warm breath trailling her jaw, Raine's arms curled around his torso in respose, her face hidden into the crook of his neck. The one thing she longed for, but it was well worth the wait and it definately left her waiting patiently for the next embrace, no matter how long it took. A small, giggle of sorts sounded in her throat and escaped her lips, her grin set against her features comfortably.
"I should go clear your name now, shouldn't I?" Was her response to his last comment. However, her arms did not move, they did not give at all.. She was perfectly happy where she was.. But things had to be done.
"I don't think your presence would do much good there, but feel free to come along if you'd like." Shiero chimed peacefully, she really would rather him come along rather then staying behind to take care of other matters, but it was entirelly his decision, and whatever he thought would be best, she would be happy with.

"I think stopping the war is more important." Durithill said. "But I'll come with you whatever you decide." He'd researched a lot, and found out what he'd wanted. He knew now how to kill Durimiros for good, and chances were that Durimiros knew that. Which meant it was safer for them to stick together anyway. But it also meant he had nothing left to research, nothing left to draw him away from Raine.

"And to stop the war.." She began quietly mumbling her words into his neck quietly.
"--means we need to clear your name first." Pulling away from Durithill, she took a step back, slipping her hands into his with a bit of a smile. Her fingers laced between his comfortably; perfectly.
"Come now.." Shiero urged him, pulling him towards herself as she began to walk back towards the room they were stationed in before. She needed to at least let Rathios know that they were off... With a smile still centered on her lips, Raine nearly skipped down the hall, constatnly tugging at him, as if to ask him to move faster, however, she knew he was fully capable of speeding passed her with ease.
"I would be nice... For you to come with me.. Maybe your presence in the Angels' realm won't be so bad."

Durithill remained quiet on that point, he knew that the angels didn't really care which of them had done it, just that they died. "Well we'll see." he said with another small smile. Rathios looked up as they entered the room and made a dismissive gesture. "I thought you'd be gone by now." he said. "Maybe we should have bet on it." Durithill said, causing the angel to scowl slightly. Durithill laughed. "Just be careful, lady Raine. Even if you are the council leader, things do happen."

"I'll be cautious, you don't have to worry about me." The council woman said with a grin. Her features seemed to be bright, happier then she has been for th epast little while.
"Take a break, Rathios, you gretly deserve it." Raine nearly ordered, her espression falling serious for a moment or so-- not that he could see it though.
"When this is over, you should take a few days off to relax.. We'll be back soon!" Shiero bid Rathios a soft goodbye before pulling Durthill once again. She almost seemed to be anxious-- she just wanted to get this done and over with.
"So.." She began, once again in amore serious tone, however, her features said otherwise,
"in the amount of time you were missing, so to say, did you discover anything I need to know? I won't press you for anything, I promise."

Rathios simply nodded and made a dismissive wave as Raine left. "My main discovery was that book, the translation of which you now hold." Durithill said, following Raine obediently. "I also discovered something else. I discovered a way to kill Durimiros for good, so that he'll never come back. So that he won't be reborn in 40,000 years." he said. "I haven't perfected its use yet, but I will have when the time comes."

"Oh! Perfect!" She chimed happily, however, when she glanced back at him, her expressions said otherwise. If he found a way to do something good, there was a consequence, there was always a consequece... She just didn't want to end up losing him again...
"Might you want to share that with me as well?" Raine asked, her head slightly tilted, her hand to losen from his, allowing his hand to fall from hers gently. A portal was created behind her to the Angelic realm as she waited for an answer. She hoped; prayed to the gods that he wouldn't have to leave her again... For if he did, that would bring upon her own downfall, causing her to fall into a deep depression..

Durithill grinned slightly. "It's a difficult topic. I don't even really understand it myself." he said simply. He walked past her and stepped in front of the portal. "Don't worry, there probably won't be any repercussions, except maybe from Durimiros." He smiled again and walked through the portal.

Following him through with a few hasty footsteps, Raine passed through the portal after him. Asn't she supposed to jumpp through first? Perhaps if the angels saw him, they would panic an dperhaps attack him... However, Shiero hieghly doubted that would happen in a matter of three seconds.. But then again, there was no doubt..

"Good luck, Lady Raine!" Rathios called as Raine dashed through the portal. He then sighed and went back to his work.

Durithill stepped out of the portal into the library they'd left, his boots barely making a sound on the stone. He yawned and streached, then turned to help Raine though the portal if needed. He'd turned back into his normal form, of course, but he still had that kind of bodyguard air about him.

Nearly stumbling from the portal, Shiero's feet making a much louder, abrupt sound then Durithill's had. Her hand immediatly shot out to prevent herself from falling face-first into the stone below her. Praise be to him for being there to prevent her from making a fool out of herself.
With a bit of a nervous laugh, Raine stood up-right, her dress relapsing to her former one, her hair remaining in the loose ringlets rather the pin straight strands. It was nice for a change every now and then.
"Heh.. Thank you."

"Not a problem." Durithill said with a grin and small laugh. "That's what I'm here for." He turned to look around the library, but it look like Rathios had left. The library had a few scholars who were now looking at them as if they were interesting. After a few moments they returned to their work.

In response to the small, amused smile and the gentle laughter from the male, a wide, pleasent smile spread across Shiero's face. Sure, he was there for that, but much more as well. Her eyes drifted to the library where various scholars were scattered about the room. Blinking in wonder, she took a step forward, allowing her hand to slip from Durithill's, a brow raised in wonder.
"Where would Rathios have run off to?"

Durithill shrugged and looked around. "Doing council work, probably." "Or right behind you." said a voice from, well, right behind them. "Impressive that you can create a stable protal leading into this complex." he said to Durithill. Durithill shrugged. "Not too hard for me. Of course, I was born with the ability to use the Master element." he replied. Rathios seemed to accept this answer. "Back so soon?" Rathios asked, turning to Raine.
