T'thia had spent the entire day and most of the night bathing and oiling her large dragon. she ahd out right refused to spend another night in the crowded barracks with the other wyrelings and chose instead to bunk with Arizath on his ledge. T'thia was sound asleep when Arizath's tail twitched. he tried to wake her
mine, wake up i'm....i'm hungry
T'thia groaned and rolled away from him mummbling
"you're not a hatchling go feed yourself"
Arizath snickered to himself before dropping off the ledge and heading to the feeding grounds. T'thia had already drifted back into slumbers her body excrutiatingly soar from the previouse days work. somewhere in T'thia's sleepy mind she realised the dangers of what was happening. she sat bolt upright and called Arizath back
"Arizath come back i need you"
alright mine
T'thia had already grabed his harness and was sorting through the buckles and straps. Arizath landed on the ledge again. T'thia deftley strapped the buckles on the bronze dragon. she hoisted herself up and strapped herself in.
Mine, where are we going?
"we are going to the sea hold to visit my parents and keep you out of trouble"
Arizath rummbled in protest and thought as quickly as he could
Mine, we aren't allowed to leave without image confermation from an older rider
"it's all taken care of i sent the image to T'orn, we're fine. he searched us at that sea hold and knows it as well as i do. it'll be good to see my parents again"
she sent the image one more time to her dragon as they dropped form the ledge and circled up to the star stones. she held the image as the biting cold of between pierced through her light clothing. she was in such a rush she didn't bother to put on ehr riding gear. it didn't matter within three breaths they were in the mid morning sunshine of her sea hold home. she landed Arizath on a ledge and dismounted letting him curl up indignantley to sun. she turned to Oneth
"stay at the wyre and watch the flight, return when it's over and safe to bring Arizath home"
with a chirp of understanding his command Oneth returned to the wyre and T'thia went down the path to visit with her parents.

Wake up!.......Headwoman........the Loom Room!!!
Myyth shook herself awake and sat up in bed feeling a bit confused. What was Spirith going on about? She seemed rather excited. "Spirith what did you say, I didn't catch all of it". Yawning Myyth started to find her clothing.
We are to go to Headwoman Shadill, in the Loom Room. "We are?" Myyth wondered what all this could be about, but then the roars from outside made clear just what was going on. "Spirith, Wrath rises?" "She does. We need to go, now." "I hear you, I'm comeing. I wonder if other......" Whatever Myyth had been thinking was cut off by a brief sensation. Myyth could feel herself going pink, even as she sat in her room.
Grabbing her shoes Myyth ran for the Loom room. "If this is what the begining of a flight is like......" In the back of her mind she was aware of her dragon's highly amused thoughts.

With one wineskin empty, K'makin is already fairly intoxicated... he can't hold his liquor too well, which is why he normally abstains. With drunken logic to guide him, alcohol already completely blurring his short-term memory, he decides to visit Rayi's weyr to celebrate... something. That happened. That involved her. Yes, it was celebration-worthy, and she was such a good friend.
He's glad that as one of the goldriders, she's entitled to a weyr that has ground access. Lots of weyrs do, but most riders, like Kya, have weyrs which need a dragon to reach. Nakoreth is off... somewhere... but Kya can reach Rayi's weyr on his own two feet.
Which don't seem to like the stairs. Frowning, Kya concentrates and makes his way up the long flight. And there it is, Rayi's weyr. Only... why isn't Wrath on her couch, having a nice nap? She's usually there. Staggering, he finds Ray's living quarters, only she's not there either. Where are they?
There's something important, yes, but ... after another pull on a wineskin, he forgets. She's away, but she should be back soon, yes.
Another pull on a wineskin was a bad idea. A bad idea it was, yes, indeed, he realizes as he sort of can't stand anymore. He slides down against a wall, and sprawls on the ground. The cool stone floor is so nice to his warm face. Ray should be back soon, then they can celebrate that whatever-it-was.
He passes out.

Tikal emerged from the stables a bit shaken. That had been an unpleasant experience, so many emotions sickened her. Too bold, too fast, too loud... she thought somewhat bitterly. Her head was still spinning. Making her way back to the Weyr she noticed several bronze and brown riders practically inhaling alcohol. That was exactly what she needed right now...to be as drunk as these riders.
Lapis and Glint stayed away from her. Smart boys, Tikal smirked coldly. As she pilfered a wineskin from a passing rider noticed her hands were still shaking. Scorch it! I didn't know dragons were so...emotional. She took a deep drink finding, to her delight, the sweet taste of Benden White. A warmth filled her as she took yet another draught. The background noises meshed into a drone, a sign that she was on the right track to getting her desired results.
Tikal was only 17, but she had spent all her life with grown men. She could hunt, she could fight, and, needless to say, she could hold her liquor as well as any of the riders. One wineskin was definitely NOT going to cut it. She needed to get really plastered, really fast. With movements that betrayed years of experience, she filched two more wineskins before heading towards the barracks.
She plopped on her bed staring at the cracked ceiling and taking deep pulls of the wineskins. The headwoman could chew her out in the morning, but to be honest, right now she didn't give a care.
She hated the emotions the flight had brought out in her. To be so open with feelings was a sign of weakness. The girl sighed. It didn't matter either way...in a few moments she would forget it all.

Rider-mine, all the weyrlings from our Hatching have to go to the weaving place, thing, so you guys aren't overwhelmed by, umm, emotional stuff, they said...
Niko laughs softly. The Loom room? Alright then, I'll tell R'nek. She smiles again. "R'nek, we have to go to the loom room, 'cause Wrath's rising. Something about emotional overwash..." She shrugs uselessly.

Ray wakes up in unfamiliar sleeping furs... Ah, still in Fort. She'd had the wierdest dream that they'd gone home and fought with Kya, and Wrath had risen and she'd... she'd... who was that!?
Sharing the furs with her was an unfamiliar face. No, wait, he was familiar, he was that friendly bronzerider from yesterday, which really had happened... and that meant... so had this morning.
Flushing and paling by turns, Ray looks for her clothes. At least this time it hadn't been a complete stranger, although Kya had turned out to be fairly nice...
All she can find are her shirt and trousers, which she had been wearing yesterday and must have slept in last night. Pulling them on, she looks again at P'las. It would be rude of her to just leave... but what would she say if he woke up?

T'thia bid fairwell to her parents and younger sister at the sea hold cot on the shore. she mounted Arizath who nudged her little sister playfully with his large wedge shaped head
"i'll come visit again as soon as i can ma ma"
her mother gave her a wamr smile and waived her off. Oneth had returned just after dawn to inform her that Wrath had flown and it was safe to return. Arizath circled high above the sea hold lazily before disapearing, the cold chill of between bit through T'thia's light clothing once more. it mattered little however, three breahts latter and they were back in benden. Arizath landed on his ledge and T'thia dismounted and slid down. she rubbed her amrs and legs to help circulation before unstrapping the harness from Arizath. he immediatley curled up and fell into a doze. T'thia grabbed the sleeping fur she had hauled form the barracks and curled up between Arizath's forarms. she too soon drifted into a light slumber.
"think anyone missed us?"
no, i think everyone was too wrapped up in the flight, the only one who knew we were gone was Dawleth's
"good"
T'thia gave a yawn before settling in deeper into the furs on the ledge and drifting contentedly to sleep

Treyla didn't like riding on the caravan's. The bumping and tossing about always upset her stomach. And Ath her blue flit jitterd irritatingly on her lap. Oh she really hoped the trip would be over.
She looked out of the flap and looked up at Beden Weyr. She was awe stricken as she absently stroked Ath along his eye ridges. She had come at last to her new home, hopefully anyway. She had had enough with her parents and decided to move out, and the nearest Weyr was a fitting place.
News traveled fast, and she had already known of the Queens flight. Of what she heard it was hoped to be a well pared mating. Then again gossip is gossip.
Her wavy red hair blew in the slight breeze as her lime green eyes glanced about. I hope they will accept me she thought.
((crap I have to go a few... back in like 30 minutes... ))

Slowly, P'las began to awake as the nice warm body that was next to him moved. He moved into the spot that Rayinte had just left, sighing softly. Eyes fluttered open. He was in a strange weyr, again. This was rather typical... but who was the girl this time? He didn't recall off the top of his head. Ugh... He stretched, glancing about the weyr. As he moved, the furs slid from his body and no longer covered... *cough* something. Not that it bothered P'las, who really didn't even notice this as he spotted Ray and smiled.
Noticing that she was already dressed, he tilted his head to one side slightly. "Going somewhere?"

Ray quirks an eyebrow. "Why, yes I was. Judging from the sun, I'd say it's about noon. I don't know about you, but I happen to be starving."

The traders just left her amidst the road leading to Benden. Appearently they were long off route and only gave her the lift because of the pay she gave them, which wasn't really that much. She sighed as she looked up the road leading into Benden and slowly walked while Ath perched on her shoulder.
"Well Ath... I'm either going to be let in or turned away. Might as well face up to it right?" She asked her little blue. He gave a cheerful nuzzle to her hair with a soft croon.
With only the cloths on her back, she moved forward. Her shirt loose but fitting billowed in the slight breeze, as did her pants as well. She didn't really like the pale yellow clothing, but she chose it because of comfort not of luxury.

She didn't really like the pale yellow clothing, but she chose it because of comfort not of luxury. a bronze flit popped out infront of the girl and chirped inquisically at her. soon he was acompanied by a blue who did the same inquisitive chirp. the blue soon disapeared for a moment before returning. Huntu popped out in front of T'thia and roused her from her sleep sending her pictures of a wondering girl heading towards the wyre. T'thia roused and blinked at her blue. "alright alright" her blue disapeared. T'thia pulled herself up to Arizath's neck. "straight flight, we are playing meet and greet today Riz" Arizath dropped off the ledge causing T'thia to cling to the neck ridge before he straightened out and flew across the wyre bowl. he circled above the road leading to the wyre before making a smooth landing. T'thia waved her arm at the girl. the bronze and blue flits zipped over to join a gold already perched on the girl's shoulder.

Treyla jumped as the two flits suddenly appeared. She never could get used to them poping up from out of nowhere. Ath looked at each flit as they flew away, keeping a close watch.
But as Treyla backed away a bit at seeing the massive bronze in the sky. She waved back at the rider, peering through winced eyes as Ath dug his claws in her flesh a little at the appearence of the dragon and rider.
She whispered to him, "Oh settle down... Your hurting me.. and you could use some flying ya know..."
With this the blue slid off her shoulder and flapped his small wings and achieved flight. Hovering near Treyla as the he crooned lazily.

T'thia slid down Arizath's shoulder and took a few strides away from the dragon
"greetings from Benden!"
she called as she neared the girl
"My name's T'thia, Rider of Bronze Arizath. this is Oneth, Lira, and Huntu"
she pointed to the bronze, gold, and blue flit in turn with their names
"what brings you to benden wyre?"
she asked inquiringly wondering if she had been found on search and come early, or if she merely wished for a life in the wyre caverns helping as many of the unbound did.

Treyla nodded to each respectivly and she flashed a small smile at the rider slightly bowing. Her red hair flew in front of her face, hiding half her face, her gleaming lime green eyes watching.
"This is Ath..." She waved her hand to her left. "And I'm Treyla... I've come to make a living out of my parents home. Big fight, I stormed out, ran away...And here I am."
She jumped a little on her toes as she said this last part. She was hopeing to be let in and not be turned away. But her gaze was mostly on the bronze behind T'thia. Oh what she wouldn't give to have one of her own so she could take care of it. She just loved dragons whether they came big or small.
