--Three days later--
Storm rolled over in the warm bed with a groan. Right into the sunlight splaying on the pillow. She hissed in pain and dug the heels of her hands into her watering eyes. Storm bolted up in surprise and groaned again. She'd slept again.
“I’ve been living with humans for much too long.”
She rolled out of the rumpled bed, cursing mildly. Storm stopped and looked down at her mostly bare torso, at the shirt lying on the ground and back to her bare skin. She hadn't remembered taking it off. Shrugging, she pulled her back on, over her head and padded softly back onto the deck
Storm ran a hand through her hair trying to make it look a little less like a hay stack and more like a presentable doo. She smiled wany.
"How long have I been out? I can't tell the bloody time of day very well out at sea."

Kibo: You've been out three days. 'Twas pretty boring without the cleverly sharp tongue of old Storm to cut at our ears.

"Which gets kind of boring after a few hundred years of each. Leaving in me with a good hundred thousand years to kill. Oh, any sugestions for the next hundred years or so?"

Shrugging, Ranu bit into the cookie. Finding it good, he swiftly ate the whole thing, then looked around and pulled a musket from his shoulders, and peered down the barrell. "Damn. Its not very good with wishes for rifles, either" he complained. He'd genuinly thought cookies were magical.

Kibo: The next hundred thousand years?
He looks up, and recites the lest again.
Kibo: Drink. Sleep. Fight. Pillage. But with new people. Like us. That'll burn up the next hundred thousand years for ya.

Ranu laughed ruefully, before replying in a bitter tone "Well If you get bored, think of us mere mortals, who only get to live to fifty, if we're careful and lucky." Yup. Ranu was a touch jelous that his compainions would live way longer than him.

Kibo: *sigh* Thanks, Ranu. You just brought the rest of us, who won't live for another hundred thousand years, crashing bsck down, in a fiery ball of your own jealousy. Thanks.
He sighs again, and pulls out a bottle of Dragon Ale.

"Oops. sorry, Commodore." Ranu said, in a small voice. He hadn't meant to offend the Commodore, after all. He glanced up at Captain Storm a moment, "Aye, I guess I would like to live that long. It'd be good to see how things in the world pan out." Turning from the other two, he looked out to sea. "I wonder if theres a way" He continued, but quieter, as it was more to himself. Maybe I should search.

"Well, seems like you'll be around for a while now."
Storm sighed.
"And I was so looking forward to throwing dirt onto your coffin."

Kibo: Admiral. And there's several ways. None of which I've taken any interest in pursuing. People spend their entire lives trying to perfect these spells, just to try when they're old and decrepit, just to have the last of their life drained away. Their souls aren't even good for tying. They make the object crumble into dust. Their only real use is feeding to other spirit creatures.
He holds up his left hand in front of his chest.
