Alrighty, I'm out of here until next week. Everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving, and say safe those that are travelling.

Returned from the mountain. Only got lost once. Of course "lost" means ending up in the wrong state by accident. Pesky Pennsylvania, sneaking up on me like that.
"Oh s**t! We've crossed the Mason Dixon Line! Don't say 'y'all', honey, they'll shoot us!"

Natalia Romanova Whhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?! That's crazy! I named my car Arkham! I did a double take while reading Lovecraft's Dreams in the Witch House. The town in which the story takes place?
Arkham
(on a related note ... I don't think I ever named my car ... the name it came with, "Integra", seems good enough for the time being)

Dreammed last night that I was teaching a group the kata "Jutte". Actually did it right in the dream and made corrections to students in that dream. Guess I know the kata now. whee

First real sucky day of the season at UPS this morning. We had 30,000 packages when we normally have 20-23,000. My supervisor said that when they had that many last year, they were starting work at 1:15 a.m.
We started at 2:40 this morning.
Yeah.

I have never actually thought about what it's like working for UPS during Christmas. May the Force be with you.

I got a call today around noon asking if I wanted to go help a driver. Since I'd rather work all day then face my mother's wrath if I said no, I agreed. Luckily it was a pretty easy route. Natalia Romanova May the Force be with you. crying Least I'm getting craploads of overtime.

Stupid lying newscasters. It really is all about the money. I guess the editors had a choice of two leads to the story:
"Teen heroicly battles cancer and oppressive hospital administration for freedom."
or
"Young idiot rejects life saving treatment. Denies hospital opportunity to protect itself from frivolous lawsuit after he eventually dies."
Any guess which way the news went? Been reporting lies and bias during this whole mess.
