"Hey now!" Fleur exclaimed, slapping away Mariko's hand. "Books can be valuable assets to read in times of boredom." She glances around the room to see if anyone else was within hearing distance and leans in to whisper, "Besides, I've already tried. They aren't very aerodynamic. You get a lot more killing power with kitchen utensils." With that, she took the novel from the cannon, and began sighting down a target in the distance. "There you are, my pretty..." the French woman mumbled to herself, carefully adjusting the aim of the cannon at a seagull perched upon the dock in the distance.

It was time.
For the Seagull Apocalypse.
There would be no mercy.

"Fine!" Mariko pouted. "Snog the first shot! Leave me here to- Ooo! Shiny!" she exclaimed, stuffing another boot into Cannon Number Three.

"Why cha aiming at the tavern?" Mariko asked, not seeing the seagull. "Ah know their swill tastes like parrot piss, but c'mon, their broth ain't half bad, dya know!" she exclaimed. "And they got lotta pretty waitresses."

"Yes sir." Marius said. He had completely forgotten about the guns in the small armory, and headed back down. The guns looked to be in better repair than the swords had been, and but he looked over each and everyone of them and set the few that looked like they needed to be repaired off to the side. He cleaned the ones that didn't need to be repaired and put them back where he had gotten them from.

Marius studied the remaining guns for a moment. It didn't look like the repairs would be too complicated, and began on them. They looked worse than they actually were, and each gun would be easily repaired, but it would take some time.

Tracey shook his head, and covered his eyes as he turned and walked away. He was conviced this ship may never sail, he wouldn't be able to stand a long stint asea with those two loonies. Maybe, he wondered, if he got meaner, they would listen? He wasn't sure, but somehing had to break, his sanity or their behavior.

"Blast it, woman," Fleur exclaimed as her target flew off, "ye made my target move!" The French woman stands up and faces the other with her arms folded across her chest. "Do you even know the advantage of the element of surprise?"

Avelop swung down the riggings to the ground, and his feet hit hard, he was confused. They had had good conditions for setting sail for some time, and he wasn't sure if any news had been given around, he'd heard some talk, but very little carries up to the crows nest.
The crows nest had become something like a second home to him, not just because it was easiest to manage his cleaning from there, but that in a fight he could use his musket instead of his daggers, which he prefered.
After a short walk he saw new crew members, but knew he must check with the captain for any news. He heard talk and recognised some voices, 'I won't be able to stand this, is anyone else...sane? The captain will be.' he thought.

Tracey let a deep breath out his nose as he tried not to get angry at the two women. At least Fleur had some merits, she apperently had some understanding of tactual warfare.

Avelop wasn't the only one thinking they won't be able to stand it with only crazy crew. Of course, Tracey's impression of him was that he was also a few planks short of a raft as well

Avelop stood next to Tracey, and was about to speak when he saw Fleur and Mariko arguing and an annoyed look on the captains face. Avelop knew it must be difficult, since there wasn't many officers and he was a new captain.

'The element of suprise.' Avelop thought, 'Theres another sane one.'

Tracey turned to look at Avelope, the two had not gotten off on good footing when he first met him, but that was on the land and the past. Not waiting any longer, he ask, "Do you have something to report, Avelope?" After prompting, he waited and counted how long it took for a response to come. Feeling the wind, long denied to him, he was ready to move out, Mariko or any other that proved too much of a bother could be dealt with in other manners suiting the sailing.

Avelop weighed his words before he said them, he did not want to sound as foolish as he had done in the past. ''Yes sir, Its just its perfect conditions for sailing, and I was coming to check for news.'' he said and turned to face the captain, ''I'd heard rumors but I wasn't sure how reliable they were.''

Alette grumbled as she sat up from her small stray pallet, she scratched at the back of her head and yawned. SHe had not been feeling well for the last few days so she had slept off her illness.
"....Hungry." Was the first word to slip from her mouth as she staggered slowly out of bed, her hair was a fiery bush of red. She grabbed a comb from her burlap sack and swiped it through her hair a few times to calm it.

"Wonder how everyone is doing." She thought as she slipped on her leather boots and gloves.

Tracey nodded, silently agreeing aout the conditions for sailing, he just wished for an able minded crew to take more advantage of it. At the word to the word of a rumor he became mildly interested so he asked, "And what are the rumors saying?" He was sure it was about the sailing, and he was about to give orders for it very soon.

''The rumours are were going to sail quite soon, someone even said you'd set a date but I wasn't sure at all about that, thats why I came to check." Avelop said, "I also came to report the sails are in good condition, In case such a rumour were true.'' He was sure they would sail soon, so he spent a little extra time in the riggings inspecting the sails.

''Captain, can I ask you something?'' he added, he was about to ask if he could see where we where headed, and check the maps, but he wasn't sure if he was allowed.
