Taryn Edwards She laughed. "I'm not starving. Obnoxious." She gave an exasperated sigh, then noticed the glass Mimi had prepared. She looked up at the woman, and offered a sheepish smile, before concern creased her brow. "Are you alright, Mimi? Can I do anything for you...? And I don't think we've actually met up since it happened..." ((Sorry, comp died. xp )) -The girl blinked, tilting her head a bit to the side and a faint frown on her face.- Since what happened, Taryn? Is there something I should know of? -Oooh, yes, now that really bothered her. Chewing on her lip, she went about preparing herself that hot cocoa.-

Duellist sighed, and looked over at Taryn. "Um... Yeah, I think I might have forgotten to tell you." He sighed, and wondered what his beloved must really think of him if he couldn't remember to do things like that. He reached over to Taryn, and kissed her cheek, just a simple gesture. 'Tell me the truth,' he sent to Taryn, 'I'm not the brightest vampire, am I...'

*Seeing Reiki run off, Sirus gave a whistful sigh. He wasn't very good at this sort of thing. That's why he worked alone most of the time. But still, if this ghost were truly as powerful as the kid said, they were going to need all the help they could get.*
*Slowly, the hunter walked into the bar room (or wherever the heck you people are). Taking a quick glance around, he noticed Mimi serving blood to two vampires. Sirus lowered his gaze as he walked up to the one known as Duellist. Tapping the man's shoulder, the demon hunter politely waited...*

"Um... No... Just." She managed a genuine smile, forcing her lying tongue to surface. It seemed Mimi had no idea she had been shot... "Just meant since I was... Reborn? or whatever you would call it." She smiled, picking up the glass and concentrating on it as she drank. It hid her expression, so she wouldn't give anything away. She gave a sidelong glance to her lover. 'Honestly... not the brightest, no. But... We all have our faults love... You manage well enough from what I've seen.' She gave him a smile, setting the now empty glass on the counter.
