Akki stared at her twin, who seemed to be oblivious to everything around him. She looked back to Lacuna at a loss and shrugged

Lacuna shifter her eyes from Jakkin to Akki, then Po.
"I suppose it's something he'll have to deal with himself. That is, if he truly likes her.. We shouldn't get mixed up with them and their feelings, eh?"

"I guess so..." Akki replied. "It's hard to see someone you love get hurt like that though." Jakkin stared at the occupants of the other table a moment longer, then turned his attention back to Lacuna and his sister. Noticing a crumb on Lacuna's chin from the coffee cake, he lifted a hand to brush it away, stroking her cheek afterward

"Yes.. It is very hard seeing the people you care about get hurt... Sometimes, people just have to fight their own battles.. I think this is one of those times", Lacuna sighed happily feeling Jakkin's hand stroke her cheek. She smirked and blushed slightly.

Akki, watching them, sighed deeply and pulled out a book>

Lacuna continued to sip her coffee happily. She yawned and, once again, pulled out her scrapbook and began to doodle.
"Akki", she started with the pencil's eraser at her lip focusing on her doodle, "you really shouldn't worry so much. All things happen for a reason.", she removed the eraser from her lip and doodled a little more.

"I know....but when we first came me and Canti met first, and it seemed like we were gonna be friends...but then I introduced her to Po and it seemed like she didnt care about me anymore..."

Lacuna quickly removed her focus from her scrapbook to glance at Canti. She sighed and looked up at Akki.
"...Did she?", Lacuna said rather upset about hearing this. She rolled her eyes and smiled at Akki.
"Cheer up girlie, I'm sure it wasn't anything intentional, people just tend to get wrapped up sometimes. Men have that affect on us women," she said sarcastically with a laugh.
"I'll always be here for you Akki, just say the word, and Ill be here."

Lacuna looked at Jakkin and back at Akki.
"Perhaps I will.. I'm just not sure..", she said thinking about the bookstore. "I mean, it's the perfect place and all, so many books, and lovely rooms, I just don't want you all to feel I'm intruding or anything."

Quinn walked in quickly, getting himself a coffee before he found somewhere to sit. He tapped his foot nervously and pulled a sketchbook from his bag, starting to hum a song that had been stuck in his head for quite a while. He had a sudden desire to sketch something, or someone, so he looked around. He could find no one he really wanted to sketch, he decided he wasn't at a good angle to see anyone right. So, instead, he boredly sketched his coffee cup that was sitting in front of him.

Mikey walked quietly into the coffee shop, he placed some money down on the counter and ordered a plain cup of coffee. As he stood waiting for his order he looked around at the few people in the room.
