[Sorry! I had dinner. Though... I'm not much later than usual, am I? xP]

Kai quickly followed after her, careful to keep his feet near the base of the branches where they met the trunk. Then he glanced up and started towards land, breathing out in relief as he saw Skylar safely make it. He jumped the last bit and landed beside her, dropping to his knees. He frowned when he saw she was crying. "Hey..." he murmured, watching her in concern. "Are you ok? Did you injure yourself?" He'd thought he made it in time that she'd been fine, but could she have hurt herself without his realizing it? He gently set his hand on her shoulder, using his right to wipe away her tears.

Kai blinked as he took in her words, a bit surprised. He was about to tell her he was fine, but couldn't help wincing as she grabbed his hand, despite how gently she'd taken it. Still, he at least attempted to comfort her. He wrapped his arms around her as she leaned into him. "It wasn't selfish," he said quietly. "I wanted to explore just as much as you, and it's not your fault that you slipped. Plus, there's no way I'd have just let you fall from there." He smiled at her, gently rubbing her back, hoping that would help at least somewhat. "Please don't worry and don't be sorry either." He hugged her a bit tighter, hoping she'd stop soon. It felt odd to have people worry about him. He wasn't used to it.

Kai smiled down at her, relieved she'd calmed down. He glanced at his hand, chuckled slightly as he clenched it a few times and then opened it again. "Yeah, I guess I did..." he shrugged. "But it's fine. I told you, I've been through much worse." He nodded to confirm his words and then stood, offering her a hand, his left this time, to help her up as well. He briefly ran a hand along his chest and then let it drop back to his side. Then he glanced over to the cave she'd pointed out and nodded his head. "Sure, why not? We're already here." He smiled at her again, still holding out his hand.

[Ah, ok... xP Um, is the cave the lover's cove place?]

[[sadly, it's true; the only thing she really eats is raman or something with sugar. otherwise, she just drinks water or crystal light or w.e she finds- tends to stay away from soda, though, unless it's flavored vanilla, or if it's mountain dew or dr.pepper/mr.pip... hasn't had grape soda in a few months sadly xD ::Knows just about everything about windy::]]

Koichi was almost at the top of the hill. He stopped, his eyes wide as he hid behind a tree. He growled; why was the boy the one holding Skylar. Why wasn't he the one? He's...going to pay, he thought, clenching his fist. How dare he touch her; it was impossible. It made him, more or less, seem demur compared to him. Kage said Skylar... she's supposed to... he argued in his head, not even finishing any thoughts. He was pissed off that a guy, who he assumed just met Skylar, was that close to her. What right had he had to do so, anyway? I have more right, he thougt. Was it jelousy that was creeping up onto him, or was it just anger and pity on himself? He couldn't even question it, he knew, for he couldn't answer it himself.

Appassionata walked on the edge of the water holding her ballet slippers in one hand and her wand in the other. She stopped and looked at the surface of the water.

'Maybe i should just try to move it a little' the tide came in, then quickly rushed away.

As the choppy waters swirled about in the large lovely blue, Nata walked a little higher on the beach and placed her shoes in the sand. A cool breeze filled her hair with life and she smiled at the calm feeling that suddenly washed over her.

She looked down at the wand and glared.

'Hopefully' she thought 'I won't need you to concentrait my power for very much longer'

She pointed the wand out gracefully and concentrated all of her power on the slopping salty water. Like a condutor directing a band, she swirled the water in a few small vortexes and giggled.

He walked with Riiko to the beach and looked around. He had never seen any place so beautiful. He looked at Riiko with a friendlier face than he had much earlier. "So, this is a beach. It reminds me of the training I had done back at the institute." He started sweating a bit so he took off his trench coat and turtle neck. He was wearing now a black pair of pants, a black pair of shoes, and nothing more. He was a well built young man.

He smirked and looked at her. "You don't have to. My pants also double as amphibious pants." He walked around her and played with his hair. "You'd think the Russian government would send out soldiers unprepaired?" He chuckled and sat down on a bench and looked up at Riiko. "But if you want to buy it, go ahead."

He smiled widely now, and takled her in the water and kissed her lips gently. He fell backwards and floated in the water, moving his arms slowly, to keep him in place. "I forgot how great water feels." He saw a fish swim around him and he turned his back to Riiko, to try to catch it with his hands, showing all the scars on his back.
