Dark Eldar, literally the oldest codex will finally get replacement? I'd love to see it. When the first DE new models photos will appear , that will be the sign!

The Dark Eldar will get a revision, I am certain of that and the people I keep hearing it from are reliable enough, they just can't pin down an exact release date. But chances are they will pop up some time this year. Probably not August though, as one source claims, a rather reliable one at that.

It's not exactly a secret that Jes Goodwin has been working exclusively on the Dark Eldar since the release of the 5th edition now. He's doing the entire range by himself. For the initial release we can at the very least expect a Warriors plastic boxed set and a Raider / Ravager plastic boxed set, along with the obligatory HQ and Elites sets. Maybe even revamped jetbikes that will also be partially used for the Eldar range.
Other than that, wait and see! wink

I do hope that the wait will be worth it.. The lack of info is building a strange hype! gonk

They'll probably package the Jetbikes in much the same manner as they do between the Imperial and Chaos kits. Same model with a different upgrade sprue thrown in.
On the Raiders...maybe they'll actually be capable of holding more than six models now!
Either way, Jes Goodwin does nice stuff and I'm STILL antsy to see the newly released stuff.

I wonder if they have a new design of the raiders i like how they are but I just want to see new sprue parts. Can't wait until they come out they would look so cool I just hope.

Everything has been redesigned. Odds are a lot of the old thematic style will remain the same (given the look of the Dark Eldar artwork in the current BRB) but they will be getting a major overhaul to bring them up to date on their appearance and play. They had better keep a lot of the stuff that made them so unique back in the day and give them plenty of opportunity to to raid tactics well.

Umm what does BRB stand for in your post. Just as long they are really good to play and fun and interesting to play like orks.

BRB = Black Rulebook or Big Rulebook
Dark Eldar are currently "interesting" to play in that they are an army that exemplifies the term "glass cannon." If you use them properly, they will wreck everything and everyone. If you foul up, well, better luck next time.
They won't ever be interesting in the same way that Orks are for the sheer sake that they are such vastly different armies. If the Dark Eldar are redesigned to keep a lot of their current flavor, they will continue to be about hitting and running, about pulling your enemy around and about abusing them for any mistakes that -they- make.

Surprisingly enough DE with good player are deadly combination, they have competent BS, cheap troops, excellent transports, great antitank weapons (lances! blasters! cheap!) and great maneuvrability.
