Kirara. Relkin9 Kirara. Relkin9 Cagalli Yura Attha You've just given me an idea for a great competition. Beardiest HQ contest. Any army, has to be legal, have to list the points cost... Think I should make it? What is the point? I have already won. twisted twisted twisted beardiest? like those wulfen space wolves guys? No, like the "Mine gets 16 attacks that all wound on two and ignore armour saves" type of beardie. xd gibberish.... thats all i ever read from you! im sush a noob....Well, I would suggest reading the rule book before you say that. And also go read the Harlequins codex. DAMN those guys are TWINKY. Really twinky. One of their choices can get OVER that many attacks, that is just what I got when I first used them.

Drachyench_The_Eternal 16 attacks from your HQ alone? Wow, so deadly.... NOT! I assume that by that response you did not read the rest of it. As it stands, that was NOT the HQ. It was slightly weaker, not much, just slightly. And what can I say, I was four inches away, I could not get full effect of the rules...

Lycan_Angron how does one models get 16 attcks the most i have known (not includin new nids) is 11 on charge with luck... That's news to me... the max I could get out of a Khornate daemon prince was 7~10, depending on his Rage of Khorne roll. And yes, the rumors of my demise were exaggerated. I'm still here, just lurking quietly...

For 90 points base cost, and considering that the largest this army can even feild is 113 models, it is no surprise. They are an unusual army, the Harlequins are.

Clarification from GW, I was right about termies. I also asked about the chaos gods. Trying to get them to slip a few names my way... but... no luck there. They did name a publication that may be of interest if you can FIND the thing though.
Hi Thanks for your email. All terminators should now be on 40mm bases and this will be the required size for tournaments, however we are not going to send the thought police after you if you do not do it immediately.
At one point there were a larger number of chaos entities than there are at the moment, there were five at one point, sadly the name of the fifth one is now lost to time. There was however a whole pantheon of lesser gods that were a step down from the great powers. The old slaves to darkness book published some 15 years ago and now sadly gone did mention a whole plethora of these lesser beings and how they interacted but unfortunately it did not name them.
I hope that this is of help and if you have any problems please get in touch.
Please include all previous email correspondence in your replies, or if you prefer, you can give us a ring on 0115 9140000 and we will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
Cheers, hear from you soon,

I talk with representatives a lot, and I asked about the Thousand Sons, and here is what they said, starting with my e-mail:

I hope I click right link for this. But, I just recently bought into the Thousand Sons army, for I think that those models are the best looking ones out there! PLUS what they can do! But, I quickly realise something. Everyone can move and rapid fire now. So, will the Thousand Sons get an update for their Rubric Sign? Or something to compensate that I can only equip bolters and still move and shoot, regardless that I have to roll 2D6" and pick the highest for Slow and Purposeful? I still love them, and will play them as my new army . Oh! And I would like to thank GW for a recent event that occurred . I recently buy box ov Tzeentch Thousand Sons, and I did not get all my parts in it. I had a friend call up to get it all fixed! I cannot remember gentleman's name, but he was very nice, and this was on Sunday. I get them on Tuesday! Very quick and responsive! I just wanted to thank you all! And his reply:
Hello, It's true the Thousand Sons did not get a boost from the new 40K edition, but they didn't need it! They are still nasty. We are glad you enjoy playing them. We are also happy to hear that you got your parts quickly. Thank you for your email. As it stands, the Thousand Sons are still very good. All your models as Termies? Damn right they are good. xd

I now got my reply on my second question:-----Original Message----- From: Nyghtbringer [mailto:Nyghtbringer@msn.com] Sent: Sunday, May 08, 2005 7:25 PM To: techpriest Subject: Online Store Help Okay, this is last question I will bombard you with. I have been hearing mixed rumours that the Kaos Terminators will be released in a bigger scale, to match the new Space Marines ones. I have been wanting to buy Terminators, for Thousand Sons use them effectively, but if they will be upgraded, then I will hold off.... And! I hear that it is by rule that all Terminators must be mounted on 40mm bases?
His reply:
Hello, We have not heard if new Chaos Terminators will be made. Chaos Terminators are fine on the 25mm bases they came on. one prob, nyghtbringer - I asked the UK staff. Seeing as UK is where I am, and where GW comes from, it means the bases must be changed. At least over here. Many people have already started doing it. I am going to mail that idiot and argue with them. smile
and here's my shitty mail to your shitty customer service:
At a forum I frequent, we are discussing the new terminators. The new release, and the special character Lysander are all supplied with LARGER bases. Now, i'm in the UK, I asked our staff, I emailed our customer service, both say that the bases on the old models must be upgraded to be tournament legal, but it's okay to take some time doing it as it isn't a priority. (Gareth Taylor)
However, your member, John Spencer, stated that chaos are fine on their current bases and do not have to upgrade.
The size of a base is VERY important to a game. The large bases like that mean 1: the model can choose more targets in combat due to touching more with its base 2: more models can attack it due to being in base contact.
Now, if ONLY imperial terminators become this large, it is highly unfair. only 4 imperial terminators can surround a chaos terminator, but 5 or 6 chaos terminators can surround an imperial terminator.
If it is a Terminator, the bases should all have to be the same size. As the new terminators are supplied with larger bases, this should be the size all terminators should be based on. Does this make ANY sense to you? Please clarify why it seems to not compute.
