Alloran locked her blade between his two hand blades. He twisted, attempting to rip it from her hands, but instead had the blades rip from his own, blood leaking from where they were.
"Gorramit." Alloran muttered, placing a dome of emerald around Ruby.
"Iffn' anyone's got a way 'round it, it'd be the Angel. I don't know what fer sure, but he's made mention of some mighty powerful magic items of his."

He called back, "Arch's got toys da help yeh git 'round this. Aaron ain't gotta die, and niether do I!" ((blast it, logical conversations always ruin plans of bloodshed.)) Ruby paused, ceasing her attack on Alloran and turning back to the wall. "How do I know you ain't just sayin' stuff to save your own neck?!"
