Poinsettia remaind quiet during the whole ordeal. She simply moved over to her younger sister and sat beside her not really knowing what to do. When her sister said their older sisters name Tia looked over to the empty area where Nomis had been. She nugde her sister and whispered to her. "She'll be back..Nomis always comes back...And well..If she doesn't within a couple of days we'll go look for her.."

Naida returned the nuzzle with a silent smile before nodding to Razi and Arsenic. Getting up, she said, "Lead the way, boys." She figured it'd do them good to get their minds on something else other than what had just recently happened. The disappearance of Nomis did not go unnoticed, however she was not worried...yet. Her daughter always came back home, after all. She'd learn long ago to not worry so much over her second oldest daughter, but did plan to keep a wary eye out for her return.

Arsenic looked at Razi for a second and in an instant they both made up their minds to leave Adieu home. She would worry too much while on the hunt and it would affect her greatly. Turning Arsenic headed off towards the hunting grounds silently. Razi fell in step at Arsenic's shoulder, shortening his long strides to match his big brother's little ones. The akwardness of being larger than his father had worn away, but he could never get over the size differences between him and Arsenic. But, he knew what his brother lacked in size, he made up for in heart and wisdom.

Adia nodded to Kama's question. "I promise Kama. I will never leave you."
Daveigh too nodded. "I promise too. We're not going anywhere."
Adieu watched as her uncles and Naida, her step grandmother, left without her. She could have swore Grandpa Santos had told them to take her with them. Seeing them leaving without her hurt badly but she wasn't going to trail after them like a little kit, no way! But staying here was out of the question as well. She didn't want to stay here under this depressing vibe. So she didn't. Walking into the den she spotted Grandpa Santos looking very depressed but she did not let her gaze linger on him instead she turned her gaze to Kian who was awake now and looking rather alarmed at being by himself where mommy and daddy should have been with him.
Adieu trotted over to him and looked down. "Sissy where's momma?" He asked. Adieu sighed and shook her head. "She went out as did daddy Yuki. So it's just gonna be me and you for a bit kay. We're gonna go out for a bit too." She said and then carefully picked up Kian and hoisted him onto her back. "Sound good Kian?"
Kian glanced over at Santos his gaze beginning to fill with worry. "What's wrong with papa, Sissy?" Kian asked as they started out of the den. "He's just sad Kian. Aunt Floria's gone away for a bit and it's made him sad."
"Will Aunt Floria be coming back Sissy?"
"I don't know Kian... Maybe. We'll just have to wait and see." She said as she started off in a direction away from where Daveigh, Adia, Yuki and Kama had gone and away from the way the hunting party had gone. She didn't know where she was going but she was getting away from the rest of the pride as quickly as possible.

Hardly anything brings me joy anymore... Except innocence. Because I see it so little, I've learned to cherish it. ------
((Would also give notice to the fact that Nomis and Mikhail have been gone for a longer period of time. xp )) ------ And all you knew how to do was destroy it.

((Time for timeskip. This should be an interesting event.))
Adia sighed as she layed down in the cave seperate from the main part of the den. She rather liked this cave since very few used it besides her, and Santos of course, since she'd claimed it for her resting place. It was also a good place for the pregnant lionesses to birth and during those times Adia didn't mind giving up her resting area. Alas today however even with another pregnant lioness about she used it as she pleased due to her own far overdue pregnancy. She had been due weeks ago and though she was worried for her cubs safety she could still feel them moving within her. Glancing over into another corner of the cave Adia noticed Daveigh with Yukio curled about her and both sound asleep. The sight brought a smile to her face as even through the worry and all the recent stress the content scenes of her family always put her in a calm place.

Naida was pacing herself, growing ever more uncomfortable as the time for birthing neared, but at least with this being her third litter, she knew precisely what to expect. She had been feeling the beginings of contractions, but she could tell it would be some time before it came to fruition as it were. However, it wasnt' only the impending birth that had her agitated, it was the fact her youngest daughter of her first litter had dispeared quite some time ago and not come back, and the memories of her oldest daughter's own tragedy. She knew Karounos had spent alot of time searching for Nomis, and so had the others, and still the lack of news bothered her...but at least she hadn't heard of her being found dead, and there was hope in that.
Sienna, however, Naida knew had talked to Adia recently and out of a pretense for news (though her real reason was because she wanted the company) she sought out her Queen where she knew she'd be holed up at the moment. Padding into the den, she paused for a moment as she watched Daveigh and Yukio sleeping so peacefully together, and a smile touched her lips as she leaned down to give her oldest son a soft lick on the cheek. He was such a good boy...and worked hard to keep his family safe. Looking about, she saw Kama laying on his back, paws spread out every which way, and had to supress a giggle so that she didn't wake the sleeping family.
Padding a little farther in, she called quietly, "Adia?" to announce her presence so she wouldn't startle the Queen. Finally spotting her, she smiled a bit wistfully and asked, "Do you mind if I join you? I'd...uh...heard Sienna had been to see you recently."

Adia was brought from her calm little world by the voice of a familiar friendly lioness. Turning her gaze on Naida she smiled and motioned her in with her tail. "Come on in Naida. Sienna came to see me about a week ago." She said as she repositioned herself. She was beginning to feel very uncomfortable, it was a familiar feeling that gave her the good news that she wouldn't be fat for very much longer. But of course she had the time to talk to Naida.

Naida smiled and settled down as much as it was possible under the circumstances, across from Adia. "Tell me, how's she doing? Right now, she's barely talking to me, not that I can truly blame her under the circumstances." She glanced at her belly as one of the cubs kicked, possibly in excitement. Did they know they were going to be born soon? "Sienna's becoming a ghost...better in some ways, but so much quieter than she used to be. I remember she used to dog Yukio's pawsteps and looked up to her brother like a hero, and now it's like she's barely here mentally...I'm worried about her, Adia. Her and Nomis..." she let her voice trail off at the mention of Nomis, knowing full well Adia knew what she was going through worrying about her other daughter. If she wasn't pregnant, she'd go in search of her herself. Deep inside, she knew though that if her father couldn't find her, there'd be even less chance she'd be able to.

Adia's ears fell momentarily but were back up seconds later. How could she put this for Naida? Sienna hadn't even confided in her this information. She knew well that if she was in Naida's place she'd want to know. "She seemed for the most part to be ok. She has changed in a way but I fear that may be permenant.... She came to me to talk about her... cubs. She told me she's seen them and I don't mean the bodies from the birth... She told me she's seen them as ghosts, like Zoe is. I didn't want to believe her. I thought she might be just seeing things but I saw them too. Just a glance but they were there with Sienna and I." Adia sighed deeply and looked Naida directly in the eye. Recent events for both families had been depressing and Adia wasn't sure how much more sadness she could stand.

Karounos sullenly returned to the cave, ears low and eyes scanning the ground. Sad days had turned their eyes upon the pride, and it seemed that now no news was considered good news. The recent unfortunate events with Sienna, plus Nomis having been gone for far too long was really wearing his family, and he could tell the rest of the pride, though he had not talked about it with the others.
He had spent all of the past few weeks searching around the pride and beyond for Nomis and the mysteriously disappeared Mikhail, but had discovered nothing, though thankfully no bodies, either. But the stress was taking a toll on the old lion, who slept almost all of the time he was not out searching. But he knew - he just had a feeling - that today he would not be sleeping. His mate was quite pregnant, and he couldn't help but pace now as he couldn't find her out and about around the pride. She was usually here to ask if he had found anything... As the thoughts raced through his head he forced his fatigued body to stay awake with it... just in case.

Naida stared at her Queen, her expression hard to read as she tried to take in and understand the news. If it wasn't for the fact that Adia had seem them as well, she'd of thought her daughter had lost her mind. Noding slowly, she gave a wistful smile that was still uneasy and said, "Well, the thought that she has some guardian angels to watch over her make me feel a little better. I fear you are right though...the old Sienna is gone forever...I fear what will become of her little family. Stryker and Dotty adore her to pieces, and Aquos pretty much worships the ground she walks on, and yet I've seen Sienna distancing herself from them as well...it's that in particular that worries me most."
She laid her head on her paws for a moment, but soon lifted her head alertly looking towards the entrance to the cave. She couldn't see him, but she sensed her mate was seeking her out and gave a low roar that wouldn't be enough to wake the sleeping lovers, but let Karounos were his love was laying, if he was near enough to the cave entrance to hear it.
