Gabriella looked at Xenres' tags in confusion. Why was he showing them to her? It's not like she could understand the grown up squiggles that were on there. "Gabby" she said in response, pointing to herself. She couldn't say her full name properly yet, so her matron had been encouraging her to call herself Gabby.

Xenres blushed slightly when Gabby didn't show her tags, and explained why his was out. "Matron said that we suppose to show each other our tags and touch them together when we say our names..." he said hesitantly, pretending to hit their tags together. All right, his matron didn't straight out say that, but that's what she meant, right?

The sun was shining in the small cafeteria for the teens in the tower. Normally the older teens were allowed to wander whereever they desired to go, and could certainly go to the dorms for their meals but today a note had been slipped under everyone's door.
"*Insert Exp. # here*
Please report to the tower cafeteria for lunch today, along with the rest of your age set," the perfectly neat letters wrote out. Steaming hot bowls of oatmeal already sat at the tables waiting for the five teens, along with glasses of some sort of iced tea. The place was empty waiting for the teens.
((Note: This food is drugged. After a few bites, your kids will pretty much be knocked out.))

Gabby shrugged. Her matron hadn't told her that....but maybe she had forgotton? The toddler dug in her pockets for her ID tag, before touching it to Xenres'. She didn't understand it, but there were a lot of things she didn't understand yet. -------------------------------- Selma picked up the note that had been slipped under hor door and read it curiously. The cafeteria, huh? She shrugged and looked at the position of the sun out her window. It looked to be almost lunch time. Might as well head over now, she thought. Slipping on her shoes, she headed out the door towards the cafeteria, wondering what the occasion was.

Her hair fixed, 002 headed towards the tower cafeteria, nabbing a spot by Tali as she entered. Oatmeal? Eh... that was okay. Tea was nasty. Niki sighed. But she didn't see anyone around, so she couldn't request a glass of water. She'd suffer through the horrible tasting tea. Then drink a lot of water later.
She started eating, listening to the various conversations, occasionally submitting her own entry to the chatter. Soon she began to feel tired. That was weird. She hadn't done anything to make her really tired today...
And that was the last thought that she had as she managed to avoid falling asleep in her bowl of oatmeal.

Parmida slid into a spot near the others as she eyed the meal. Eh, she supposed. She drank some of the tea, and ate a few bites of the oatmeal before managing to push away the bowl and yawn as she fell asleep, her head nestled in her arms. - + - Xenres tapped his tags against Gabby's before he put his away again. He looked around, then asked Gabby, "Now what?" He was bored, and the matron wasn't taking them to class. He looked around for the dragonfly that normally followed him, but it was oddly out of sight right now.

Tali wasn't the first in the room, and he wasn't the last. Still he waited for Niki to arrive before trying the oatmeal. He took but a bite before glancing around at the others. "Anyone know why it's oatmeal-" the teen surprised himself with a yawn in the middle of his sentence, "Sorry.. Oatmeal for lunch? And tea?" Speaking of tea, suddenly Tali was really thirsty. He nearly downed the whole glass in one gulp.
Suddenly Niki laid her head down and started breathing deeply. Strange..It was afternoon. Tali blinked and bit back another yawn. "Sleepy..." he muttered to himself as the table looked more and more inviting. He pushed the oatmeal away from him and glanced around the table, barely able to keep his eyes open. "Really..sleepy....." 001 yawned again, and pillowed his head with arms on the table. He would just lay his head down. He wouldn't actually....sleep......

Selma arrived in the cafeteria a little after Niki and Parmida, a little surprised to see no one else around. Shrugging, she sat down next to Parmida and pulled a bowl of oatmeal towards herself. It wasn't one of her favorite things to eat, but it would do. She took a few good-sized bites and a couple sips of the teas, before she saw Niki and Parmida fall asleep at the table. I wonder why they're so tired? she thought. A moment later, however, her own eyes felt heavy and she pushed her bowl to the side. "Maybe they have the right idea... after....all....." she muttered, as she closed her eyes. ------------------------------------ Gabby shrugged and looked towards the matron. "Ask her?" she suggested, before toddling over towards the woman.

Xenres nodded at Gabby's suggestion and toddled with her over to the matron. He tugged on her skirt once more, and waited until she looked at him before asking in a hopeful voice, "Class now?"

The matron watched the two toddlers fondly. "Now dears, excited for class? I don't blame you!" She kneeled in front of the two. "I suppose one of the matron's will bring over the the other two since it seems they're late. Now, 016 and 018, each of you grab a hand dears." The older woman held out a wrinkly hand to each of them.

Gabby smiled and took the matron's hand, wondering where exactly they were going to go. She hoped it was some place she had never seen before. That would be exciting!

Xenres took the other hand, and was about to put the thumb of his free hand into his mouth when he remembered he was still holding some flowers. He looked over himself before placing the stems into a pocket, allowing the petals to hang out. He grinned up at the matron, then started to suck on his now free thumb.

The Matron shook her head at the toddlers and simply smiled. "Allright! Onward and outward." Slowly she started to, almost shuffle, towards the tower. She tried to keep her steps short so not to trip up the toddlers. After a fair bit of time, the trio reached the ground floor of the towers. A door slid open for them, as the stepped out of the sun and into the realatively dim interior. The first classroom was where the two were dropped off.
A circle of colored numbers were in place in the middle of the room. "016, please sit on the blue circle, and 018 on the yellow one." the teacher instructed quietly. This time he was perpared with pictures of each toddler along with their numbers.
The Matron bent down and kissed the toddlers. "I'll see you after class dears!"

Gabby made a little face as the matron kissed her, and looked over at the teacher. Blue circle? She had to think about that one. Her matron had been practiving her colors with her, but she still wasn't very good... She knew which one was the yellow one....but the blue one? Thinking for a moment, she went and sat down on a red circle, hoping she was right.

(( rofl It's rather amusing seeing what the teacher comes up with for each class! whee *pats the teacher*))
Xenres squirmed some as the matron kissed him, but stood mostly still. His eyes lit up at the teacher's instructions.. Yellow? He could do that! Yellow and blue were fun fun. He wandered over to the yellow circle and plopped down, noticing that Gabby had not sat on the blue circle. He just wasn't quite sure which one she was on... "What color Gabby on?" He asked the teacher, wanting to know the name of the color.
