Everyone was shocked, there was nothing they could do to avoid the massive attack, and even then, only a small part of the party would be capable of surviving it... But just before they were about to use the remainder of their energy to form barriers, Silver leapt into action! The blast was indeed deflected towards the ball of glowing energy that had grown much much weaker in brightness after the attack had been launched.

They all gritted their teeth to see what would happen, prepared for the worst...

Silver pointed his charged spear at the portal, finally realizing what it was. He grinned maliciously, because he knew exactly how to take it down. As he did against Ryudo, he force shut a portal due to his extensive knowledge of the planes.

Firing a thin bolt from its tip, it stuck the portal, sealing it shut immediatly. If they're eyes were quick enough, they would see the "barrier" implode in on itself. Grinning, Silver called out.

"No creature should bow down to you, whose feet you are not fit to kiss. You're nothing but a pathetic little worm!"

Ryugi didn't act yet, unsure of how this combo move would turn out, however, he DID pull in more energy to help him, bringing himself to 3 turns of charge. He then prepared to react to whatever happened...

The others did the same, each bringing in more energy, and readying themselves...

From the side, Madison had been watching her conrades and also the dark being. Her eyes narrowed sharply at the scene, while her hands removed the two glittering sais from her coat.

Shortly, she was gone towards the fight while a strong breeze flew behind her. She was ready to get on this action.

((For all intents and purposes, Silver got hit by the attack and is KO'd. He can be healed later, but for right now, he's out cold. There are three of us on right now, and so we move on without him. Besides, according to his mom, he won't be back till tomorrow night, and I'm not waiting that long. Also, to clarify, this post is a story moment and a scripted sequence of events. After I post, it will go back to you guys, them me, then the baddie.))



Ryugi bolted foreward, his aura pulsing strong as he screamed ahead at top speed, running as fast as he could. He only had 5 charges, but he didn't care. Act now! Ask questions later if he survived! His friend was in trouble, and he wasn't going to let Dark kill him. He didn't care what he had to do, he wouldn't let it happen! He couldn't, he WOULDN'T!! He'd find a way to stop this! He wouldn't be able to live knowing he'd been unable to save another of his friends from death. He forced the heat out and away from his body to help propel him forward even faster! He had to stop him! He just HAD to!

Mere seconds after the blast would have hit Silver, Ryugi jumped into the air, Ragnarok in hand and moved into a full strength overhead blow, strong enough to cleave the thickest of boulders. This being didn't deserve to be held back against. Ryugi's friend was in danger of dying, and he'd be damned if he was going to let him down. Ragnarok pulsed with power as Ryugi made it into a supreme cutting force.

Your fight is with me! So leave my FRIENDS OUT OF THIS!!!

Dark spun around in time to see Ryugi almost on top of him as Silver's body hit the ground below the two fighters' feet. Ryudo acted quickly and pulled Silver out of harm's way with a powerful psychic pull. Something told him and the others this was going to be dangerous...

Dark acted quickly and raised his False Ragnarok into a blocking position, and the two swords met in a powerful midair clash, the power from Ryugi's blow sent the pair of fighters speeding to the ground where they met in another clash, the two weapons discharging energy trying to get the better of the other weapon as the force carved a small crater into the ground below the two fighters. Ryugi glared at Dark's sneering grin under his black hood as Dark spoke.

What's the matter Ryugi? Is that all you've got?

Ryugi's eyes narrowed and he and Dark jumped away from one another, landing only briefly on the ground about 30 feet away from each other.

Hardly!! Why don't you get over here and FIND OUT!!!

Both of the fighters tensed and launched towards eachother, pieces of tile flying away from their feet as they sped forwards. Their blades once more met in an eruption of energies! As they met, each fighter pulled thier weapons around into another massive attack, the blades slamming together in another pulse of energy. They pulled away yet again, and once more the blades met in a thunderous pulse of energy. The swords and movements grew faster, and faster, as the battle heated up!

Suddenly, a powerful hit was delivered to Dark, and her flew backwards, spinning around from the force. He quickly recovered in time to see Ryugi dashing in, now with six charges. Ryugi dashed forward and swung horizontally as Dark jumped back and up, his hand shooting forward, and launching a powerful blast of his stored energy towards Ryugi, which hit and exploded on contact. Dark grinned, but as the dust cleared, it was clear that Ryugi had absorbed the energy into Ragnarok, giving him eight charges.

Ryugi immediately jumped up again towards Dark where they met in another ferocious clash! Energy pulsing from the blades, but Ryugi was unwielding, and as they met, Ryugi's head shot forward and colided with Dark in a powerful headbut, causing the man to lurch backward a bit as Ryugi used what little heat he had going for him to zip his body around in a flip, bringing the back of his boot firmly down atop Dark's head, which sent him speeding down to the ground, hitting it in a puff of smoke on his feet, his portal barrier fluttering slightly.

He looked up to see Ryugi falling towards him with his sword ready to cleave him in half! He paniced and jumped backwards, firing a stronger lightning-like blast of energy towards Ryugi, it also exploding away, now to show that Ryugi was still unharmed, with Ragnarok appearing out of the dust in a blocking position. Ryugi now had twelve charges, and once more charged in, a look of anger on his face. They moved to meet in another clash, but Ryugi had other plans. As he closed in, he dropped Ragnarok, throwing it towards Dark, who managed to block it, but was then hit with Ryugi's real attack.

A solid punch to the face sent Dark reeling backwards and open as Ryugi dashed in and bent downwards to deliver a reverse spin kick to Dark's chest. Dark's portal wavered again as he was hit once more and sent to the ground as Ryugi crouched and leapt off the ground, still spinning, to land on top of the stunnded Dark with both of his protruding kneeguards. That finally did it, and his portal barrier fluttered almost to the point of failure, bearly hanging on.

Then, just as Ryugi was about to land one more blow, a fierce eruption of energy caused him to fly off of the ground, and off of Dark landing off to the side of the being near where he'd left Ragnarok. Ryugi gripped his weapon to find that Dark was rising into the air, a completely massive ammount of energy whipping around his form as he spoke.

HOW DARE YOU STRIKE ME LIKE A COMMONER!!

His voice raged and his barrier portal completely disapeared as he poured 50 turns of charge into a massive final attack that whipped around his form. Even if the others tried to hit him now, he was too far away, and far too much energy was flying about him for any of their lower leveled or speedier attacks to damage him.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! NOW YOU'LL ALL DIE!!!

I don't think so!!

TITAN BLADE!!!

As Dark had been ranting, Ryugi had jumped, and then dumped four turns of charge into Ragnarok, the blade growing massively as it was soon encased in a giant 18 foot long energy version of itself! Ryugi reached Dark's height quickly and lashed out with the massive version of Ragnarok as another ball of energy raged and grew behind Ryugi's attacking form! Dark was completely unable to defend against Ryugi's attacks because he was too busy gathering and shaping energy for his doomsday attack to be able to block it.

Again and again Ryugi slashed across Dark's form with the mighty sword, hitting hima total of eight times with the burning energy, for a total of 3,200 damage! The final blow came in the form of a graceful overhead spin attack which slammed into Dark and sent him speeding into the ground with terrible force. But Ryugi wasn't done! As the energy form of Ragnarok disipated the ball of firery energy surrounded Ryugi, and Ryugi dropped towards the ground, guiding the ball of energy towards it's target!





The blast would explode and force Dark into the ground even harder, as well as dealing 500 more damage to him! The force from the blast also sent Ryugi flying backwards and through the air, spinning around and he landed in a crouch well away from where Dark was, his portal barrier gone and down!

NOW!!!

That was the signal to attack before he could retailiate, but could they do it in time...?

Unlike Dame and Ryugi, Madison wasn't lined up for a body slam. Her body seemed to be positioned as though it were a professional athlete ready to hit a soccerball into a net for the final goal. Instantly, the girl began to run with her great amount of speed towards Dark.

'Don't trip. Don't trip. Don't trip.' Thought Madison as she countinued to run towards him, picking up speed with every movement. Finally, she was merely inches away from his paralyzed body and ready. What she was going to do, he wouldn't be going very far on his own for a few days.

With one swift move her large heavy boots swung backwards and moved to hit him. Instantly there was impact with her foot and his rib cage, her movements were sharp and quick. The force from her foot she could definately feel something break, for the last time she kicked something...she ended up denting large, heavy, metal doors.

A small smile formed on her face as she swiftly moved back where Dame and Ryugi stood. However, she managed to trip slightly beside Dame where she soon quickly stood back up on her feet and countinued to look at the being.

Damrius pulled his sword from his sheath, and drew in more energy.

Why do I get the fealing this isn't over yet?

He gripped his sword tightly in his right hand, and prepared for anything.

All was silent for a moment before a sudden pulse of energy sent the pieces of stairs flying off and away from the fallen Dark. His cloaked body was thrashed, but, he was still conscious, bearly...
