Do you know what really pisses me off? Some jackass is trying to hack into my Gaia account! scream I've had 9 'Your account is now blocked' E-mails in the last 2 months, the last 5 just this past weekend. evil I guess I should be comforted by the fact that they haven't been able to get in. But still, just the thought that some piece of crap is trying hack me makes my blood boil!

One of my friends got hacked at the start of the year. She got some of her stuff back. I don't know why people bother hacking. Eventually they're gonna get caught, and they'll have nothing anyway. It's no better than sending people viruses.

When you get one of these 'Your account is blocked for 15 minutes" E-mails, there is a link to E-mail the Gaia staff if it wasn't you attempting to login. I e-mailed them yesterday, and they just replied:
"Hello and thank you for your email.
Just a few quick words on the "Failed Login Attempt" emails. These do happen from time to time, and usually just tend to go away after a bit. Unfortunately there is not much else that can be done. It's simply a frail attempt to access one's account, nothing you should worry about if you have a safe and secure password. We always recommend that our users have at least an 8 character password, using random letters and numbers, with no simple words especially ones that are contained in your username. If you continue to receive these warning emails, or if you're experiencing any other issues with the site, please email us back or make use of the Questions & Assistance Forum."
I like how they put it as a 'frail attempt to access one's account' xd

Well, yesterday sucked! We got like 10 inches of rain. In the subdivision I live in, the Fire department was rescuing people, but fortunately, my house sits up, so had very little water damage in the basement. We did have 3 sump pumps going to stay ahead of it though! eek The backyard is quite a mess though. The water came up over the road and started flowing through the yard. Back by the storage shed in the back the water got to about 2 feet deep. gonk People who had lived here for over 40 years said they have never seen anything like it.
