Soccer18 hey, I havent been here forever xd . So watsup? blaugh I just got a new neck strap today whee , its colorful 3nodding My band director won't let me wear my pretty neck strap crying . He says that black is the only color that doesn't "distract" the audience. I would say that the snare player with the remote tracking device around his ankle "distracts" a bit more than a stylish strap.

Purple neck strap? That's cool. 3nodding We don't have any one kind that we have to use. Heck. Some of our saxophonists don't wear the bowties because they think our conductor won't notice, 'cause we're special saxophonists with our cool neckstraps. lol. Doesn't work, don't bother trying. wink

I play Alto and Baritone Saxes. I like the Alto more though, just because I love being able to play the melody on the rare occasions that our trumpets don't get it. sweatdrop

My band teacher thought I should learn the clarinet, then 3 1/2 years later, I'm playing the contra base clarinet, then 1 month later, the alto sax, then 2 months later, back to the contra, and now, she's trying to teach my how to play the flute! She's EVIL! Anyways, I'm in Jazz Band with my baby (alto saxaphone). Don't mind me, I'm just a 7th grader who's confused with fingerings blaugh .

i actually play the alto and tenor saxophone. ZI played the saprano for a shot time so i dont thing that it really counts for "playing it"

I'm waiting for several items to come in the mail, a new alto case, a pad saver, a book with Phantom of the Opera sheet music in it, and waiting to see if I won the bid on the reed trimmer. 3nodding

I usually end up in my next class before noticing. Then it's a little embarassing. redface But, whatevah. No one at my school understands my saxophone passion anyway, so everyone's just like "Whatever, it's that weird saxophonist again." lol. wink But I still heart my saxophone!

I feel helpless in my class. I have this amateur saxophone player sitting next to, I have been playing for 6 years, he has been only been playing for 3....anyways, the kid is an idiot. He sat there, playing with his boogers and he believes that there is a light bulb in his saxophone, he also believes he has a v****a but thats a different story. ANyways, he is the ONYL alto saxphone on 2nd. Serves him right but the only word he would say during the practices for our concert was F***, F****, F*** Off....and he just kept going. I took his music rearranged it and threw it on the floor and then my friend stomped on it. Then I kicked it across the floor. I just want to tak ehi little head and shove it in his saxophone, but I would probably go to jail for hurting a mentally ill person. xD
