*Kazuma took a walk through his village, smiling at his clan members and playing with the children. He wanted to be the best shogun they ever had, even better than Cormorant was....His smile disappeared as he sensed something strong come this way. Not knowing what it was he decided not to worry the villagers, by not showing fear.*

Mathias and the three slowly appeared within the village. "Well it seems we have arrived. Please do not harm any of the villagers, also if any ask what clan we are from do not tell them we are not samurai that will only cause them to want to protect their lands from us." Mathias said looking back at the men all had a hand on their weapons ready to protect their villages leader. All three walking into the village looking like men from the city only wearing their clothing, shoes, and a sword. "I wonder where their shogun is?" Mathias thought to himself.

*Kazuma teleported through the sand to where he sensed they were at. It appeared to them as if he magically rose through the sand.*
Who are you? State your business, before my men make you state it.
*He said with authority, though it was clearly to show his strength to the elder villagers who did not believe in the young shogun.*

Mathias laughed, "Well it seems the Shogun has shown himself to us." Poe and Mathias' son walked next to Mathias the other man stood behind them watching their backs. All of them drew their weapons except for Mathias "My name is Mathias, and our business is something that would be better spoken within the walls of one of your buildings." Mathias spoke calmly while he tried to enter the mind of the shogun only to see what he was thinking.

Mathias smiled and nodded as heard what the man had thought. The men followed Mathias who followed the shogun. Mathias stopped outside the house's door, "My men will stay outside, they do not need to heard what i will be asking of you." He said letting go of his sword and handing it to his son. "Remember this sword will not allow you to use it so do not try." He thought directly into his sons mind he then turned and walked into the house without any weapons.

*The weapon removal eased Kazuma's mind slightly. He entered the hut and slid the sand back up. Inside the hut revealed a large fully furnished home, it was lavishly decorated with things fit for a king.
Please make yourself comfortable...now what was it you wnted to say to me?

Mathias smiled slightly,"Thank you, but I would rather stand for now." he said calmly. "I have come here to ask you if would like to make a peace treaty between your clan and my village. Your lands are that of the desert while mine are those of the shrine. Only the swamp separates our lands. Your clan uses the sand, while mine uses speed and our minds to battle. Just think of what we both are able to do if we were to join together. However there is one thing i must tell you, you are samurai while i am ninja. Please i beg you not to hold that against us or allow that fact to make up your mind." Mathias then took a deep breath and sat on the floor looking deep into the man's eyes and mind.

*Kazuma thought about the generous propersition.But this brought millions of questions to his mind. "Why would there be any need for aliance? This country has been peaceful since the battle in the swamplands." Kazuma had a rough choice to make. If there were another war, would his village be prepared. They've been repairing since Renubiss attacked last, a surprise attack could easily obliterate them.*
Tell me....why would there be need for such an alliance?
*He had to know.*

"The need is more for protection for my village until we are strong and large enough to hold back any attack from any of the clans. As i said ninja and samurai dont get along to well together. I worry about how safe my village, my family is when we are surround by clans that would be willing to attack us and remove us from this land if they ever found out that we are here living. That is why i took a huge risk to visit you and ask you to ally yourself with us." Mathias continued to looking at the man as he sat on the floor.

I see. But what does my clan get out of allying with you? As you know to protect to villages requires an extensive amount of man power to perform. My people are hungry and homeless from an attack on us before. What is their incentive to help you. I would be willing...but my men are tired. Also are gold is running out from the supplies we have to buy from other clans. We'll protect you but you have to do something for us in turn...
*He said thinking casually. it was true his clan was the second strongest in Nippon, but in their current condition any one could sneak up on them. Kazuma was simply doing what was best for his village.*

"At the moment we have enough supplies to last us until the next harvest if not longer. We would be willing to share them with your people, and once our farms are finished being built and start producing food we would have more then enough to trade with your clan for your help with protection and battle." Mathias smiled while nodding slightly, "We however cannot give you any gold, for we have none, nor will we ever have any. We do not need it other then for making things for giving to our gods temple."

I see. Then I will help your clan, but on one condition...some of your youngest members must join my clan's militia to be trained into soldiers. Are we agreed?
