Angel's ears twitched when she heard a loud roar. She opened here eyes and let out a big sigh. "I wonder who that was?" Angel closed here eyes again for a second and let out another sigh. "I'm hungry..." Angel got up and headed into the cave. She didn't look at anyone or say a word. She just sniffed around for some food.

Benoni's massive head lifted from his paws, he looked to his son. He could see Kila in him so much it pained him, he took a deep breath. " My son, do not ever do something as foolish as I..." He rested his head upon his paws, "....Pray that stupidity didnt take hold in your genes, and that my mothers stupidity ends at my paws." Benoni never spoke of his mother, and if you heard him, he did it with distaste and disgust. "Go to your mother, she needs you..." He looked away now..

The purple male grinned, bowing to Venya dramatically. "Always good, Lady Venya, with-" Cayimmi's voice died on his throat as the roar echoed through the pride's territory, his brows furrowed in a deep frown. The worst of his expectations happened. Okay, not the worst, but it was bad enough. Either way, this wasn't supposed to happen. He just couldn't understand how Benoni could have given in to a... moment of weakness. It just didn't fit...
"You said Lady Niobe was at the river, Lady Adaeze?" Cayimmi asked somberly, his bright tail feathers fallen on the ground.

Tabansi looked to his father as he listened to his words, it hurt him when he told him to go to his mother. His nose wrinkled as his eyes knit together, one expression that made him look likes father. "If you think that it pains you to see me, think of how it would hurt mom?" he asked his pelt and eyes were the same as his father. He left him with that, he was already sick of this atmosphere.
Jasmyn watched her nephew leave and then approached silently looking at his cheek, "Your lucky thats all you got out of her. I've gotten worse." she joked trying to cheer him up a tad bit. "I'm imagining you told her?" her brow rose. Her ears flickered forward, she was pissed at him for hurting her but she knew he cared for her, this was the first time she had ever lended a shoulder to Benoni as well.

Venya kept close to Cayimmi. She had had a vision of this earlier and dared it not to be true, to be fasle. But alas, it wasn't ment to be a cruel joke. She sighed gently lowering her head, not speaking a word. Her tail feathers twitched gently as she leaned against the purple lion for support. She couldn't help the tear that rolled down her cheek for the pride. Was it going to rip apart? Was she going to have to find a new home?

" True my son. Then stay with your sister, shes not as strong as you. She'll need you.." His head rose as his son left, he couldnt believe it either, he'd fallen in a moment of weakness, but he wasnt perfect. Never would he claim to be, he looked to his paws as he sat up. They'd done many things he wished to forget, but they'd never rise to harm his dear heart.
At Jasmyn's words, he looked up to her. His sister in-law, he'd never truely given her a chance after he watched the way she tried to attack her sister all that time ago. " I am lucky, though, I would have accepted anything she'd wish to serve to me. Im lucky she hasnt left the lands completely. How is she?" he asked, she and her sister looked so simular, it pained him slightly. " Jasmyn, it seems that its the day of confessions. I'd like to confess, that I've been to hard and untrusting with you. It is unfair to you, and Im sorry. My children love you, my heart loves you. And I've begrudingly grown fond of you as well.." He shook his mane, the blood on his cheek had dried now, though it was puffy and bright red.

"Well isn't that just lovely. As you probably know I'm younger than Tequila, I'm the weak one she is the supposed strong one." she was being blunt with him, her orbs looked to him. "You broke her today, but she will recover... not fully. However your words will mean nothing to her. What you say will be forgotten someday, what you do will be remembered. Empty promises all fade away, what you keep will last forever. We were taught this as cubs. So I wouldn't expect her to trust you right away." She glanced to him to see what he thought.
Tabansi padded back to the cave where Venya, Cayimmi and Adaeze were still sitting around. He looked to Adaeze as he went to sit off to the side near the entrance...thinking and contemplating, he himself didn't quite know what was going on.

" Aye, I dont expect her to trust me. Hell, I feared much worse. She is strong, very strong. But your not weak either, just as strong. She didnt deserve this, but I'll die trying to make it up to her." He slowly rose to his paws, lifting one he licked it and brought it across his cheek, cleaning the blood away.."There are some flowers, that bloomed in the place I asked her to be my heart...I'll bring her some.." He wanted to pass the idea across her sister, to see how she'd react.
Adaeze looked to Cayimmi, "Aye, shes at the river as far as I know. Though, im sure shes heading back..." Her tones were lost, her eyes sorrowful, at the appearence of Tabansi she made her way towards him.
She rubbed her head against his back as she laid at his side. "Things are bad arent they?" she asked in soft tones.

Ayana sighed as she entered the main part of the pride. She looked from one side to another, eyes lowering to the ground. She wouldn't help but feel guilty about the situation some of the pride members were in. Walking towards the cave, she looked down over her shoulder at Bakari who weaved his way between his mother's legs. She ran a tongue over her teeth, looking back forewards as she neared the den.
Bakari looked at the den, hurrying his pace. He sped before his mother, padding through the grass. He was a rather humorous sight really, a small grey cub practically bouncing through the dry grass that was almost as tall as he, his tail flailing out after him. Finally, as he reached the enterance to the cave, he peered inside, blinking a few times, "H-hello?"
The lioness let out an amused chuckle, padding calmly to her son's side, watching him go about quietly.

"He can barely stand to look at me," he replied. "Mom whacked him a good one, I think she's at Jasmyn's old cave outside the borders." He looked up, "It will get better it always does." he smiled hopefully. He didn't really know for sure, all of this said as Ayanna mysteriously showed up.
Tequila looked up as she had dozed off, the cave was damp...very damp. Her fur was matted in the short ammount of time she only imagined she looked like hell. She looked to her paw, stained of Benoni's blood. "Don't tell me that your ready to change or it won't be the same. Because at the end of the day it doesn't matter...its what you do not what you say," the song escaped her throat a song her mother sang her voice echoed in her mind.
Jasmyn looked to Benoni, and raised her brow. "It's a start." she started to walk back to the den to let him dwell upon his thoughts, she winked at him. "Thanks," she replied referring back to his words of herself.

He sent her a faint smile as he shook out his body once more, he'd have to show Kila that he'd never do something so stupid again, show her that she was his sun, moon and stars...He turned his frame and began to head towards the far boarders of the land, where the pheniox had came to visit.
The tall grass tickled his sides as he searched for the pale purple bloosoms, he didnt know why. But they'd grown there, he thought it was the heavens, blessing their union. He finally spied the large blossoming bunch. He used his front teeth to delicately snap some off.
Her dark lavender eyes lifted onto Lady Ayana, she gave a soft smile. " Good day Lady Ayana, and who is this dashing fellow?" she asked, she hadnt made her way to Ayana's den to greet the new cubs yet, so she truely had no idea.
"She...hit him?" she whispered, her eyes wide. She'd never seen either of her parents overly violent, she lowered her head to her paws. " It should get better...they love each other..very much." She rose to her paws. "Im going to go to mother..." She said.

Tabansi nodded, "Knocked him a good one, drew blood." He started to think, "I think emotions had just a tad bit to do with it though," he added softly looking to Ayanna and a cub that looked closely to himself. His lavender orbs looked to each one in the cave and then to Adaeze again.

" Yes, both seem to be emotional creatures...wonder if we inherited that...by the way...where is Anu?" she asked as she rose to her paws, shaking the dust from the belly of her coat. "You find Anu, I'll go visit mother.." She bid farewell to all in the cave as she turned and raced towards her aunts old den, her small form was swift and sleek enough that she made it there with good time, though a bit warn out. She panted slightly, she could see her mother. She crept up slowly..." Mom??" she called out softly.

Surprisingly enough, of those who'd yet to grow, Fae seemed to be fairing amongst the best of the them. Still silent as ever, and still painfully fearful and shy at points... but there was no denying her time spent under Niobe's care was doing her a world of good. It was growing ever easier to interact with those she saw amongst the pride, though she still took pains to try and insure they'd stay happy with her. Both for the sake of her old fears, and because by now, she honestly wanted to see them happy.
However, now was one of those times where her fears and nerves seemed well-placed. She padded swiftly back towards the cave, stance low, ears back, nearly reeking of anxiety and concern. The most she'd heard as of yet was Benoni's roar -- what had happened?

"She is? Thank you, Lady Adaeze." Cayimmi said, nodding. He remained still on his perch, even as Venya leant on him, faintly hearing the siblings' talking or barely noticing Ayana and Bakari's entrance, just giving the dark green lioness an automatic head bow. As Fae came in, he did the same as well, his expression blank, his eyes eyeing the dust fluttering above the ground.
