Aykon *Aykon smiles and seems a bit confused that Rhodes wants some food but then determines that he honestly didn't know enough about what her life was like and he was more happy that she enjoyed it.*Well, that is quite good to hear! I can give you another if you would like. "I would like another one, please." *hands her plate back to him*

Red finishes her food in silence ignorning everything else around her. The pancakes were good but the taste barely registered as she thought back to the woman looking for her. Who had sent her and why? She certainly didn't recognize her from anywhere.
She finished up the last of her pancakes and scooted the plate out in front of her so Aykon would know she was done.
Thanks for breakfast Aykon. I'll go wait for you in your office.
She seemed like a completely different person, all her energy gone and replaced with a quiet demeaner, as she got up from her seat and disapeared inside Aykon's office.

Aykon *Aykon smiles happily and oblidges, he pours more of the pancake batter on to the griddle and a few short mintues later produces another, 12 inch pancake that barely fits on the plate. He then slides the pancake over to Rhodes*There you go! Extra large! Enjoy! "Thank you very much Aykon. They were great." *takes her seat again*

Rhodes *Immediately starts on this pancake however she only gets through half before she decides she shouldn't eat anymore. She takes her plate to the sink while Aykon goes to unlock his office.*"Thank you very much Aykon. They were great." *takes her seat again* Hey, Rhodes...is there anyway that I could convince you to watch over everyone while I talk to Spike, he claims he has a matter of import that requires my immediate attention. Since you are the only other employee I have other than my AM who is taking a break, you are the only one left. Would you be so kind? *Aykon paused and kept a happy charm as he waited for a reply*

Aykon *Aykon returns to the kitchen and finds Rhodes putting her plate up. He felt sad that she hadn't eaten all of it but he was sure that there was a reason for it. He looked at the crowd, everyone but Heather and Armion had eaten and neither one seemed to be much for conversation. He gently tugged at Rhodes' shirt as she leaves the kitchen.*Hey, Rhodes...is there anyway that I could convince you to watch over everyone while I talk to Spike, he claims he has a matter of import that requires my immediate attention. Rhodes *Is taken aback at how Aykon tugs her shirt. She was able to blush this would've been on of those times. She smiled a laughed it off.* "Sure I'll watch over everyone, no problem." Thank you very much Rhodes. I appreciate it and didn't you need to speak to me as well? If so I will make that as I can. But if you'll excuse me... *Aykon walks out to the gathered patrons and speaks just loud enough to be heard by all.*If you'll excuse me, I promised to meet with one of our patrons...I should be back soon but until then, Ms. Ventru is in charge. *Aykon bows and then heads down the hall on the right, turns the corner and finds his office. He opens the door and shuts it, vanishing inside*

*Aykon walks out into the main tavern and takes a spot at the table he was at previously, he produces a smoke from his pack, lights it and begins smoking it, he looks calm but pensive*

Aykon knows by now that Fire always puts on an act when hurt or uncomfortable. I guess he forgot after all this time* Right then...I suppose you don't want this food...*sigh* I tried to offer it to you. *Aykon hastily gets the plate from in front of him and takes it to the kitchen where he promptly disposes of it. He then places the dish in the sink and then returns to his spot. He knew what she was doing but why did he always have to be the one to make the peace offering? He was tired of feeling that he had to run the tavern and his day according to her moods. This time he was going to let her apologize on her own time.*

*Watches the two argue for a bit before abuptly getting up and exiting through the front door. It was very sunny outside and if it had been a few years ago she would've been able to stand right in the middle of it and enjoy the sunlight. Things have changed though and that's why Rhodes went and huddled in the shadiest corner of the porchlike area. She wouldn't be able to stay out long or she might burn a bit (that always stung when it would heal).*
"Anything is better than being in there..."
*she partially spoke aloud hardly above a whisper, most of it was in her thoughts.
