Shawn would fight and fight, struggling to stay in this match! He wasn't going to let up and just give up his chance to become champion! Not like this! However, as enthusiastic as Shawn was about winning, he was slowly getting weaker and his movements slower...

Shawn, in a desperate attempt, tried his best to hit a lowblow on Joerell Joeter outta nowhere.
Though he could not muster the strength to do so, his body became limp, as he passed out after being suffocated by the Submission Machine.

Samoa Joe let go of the submission on Shawn Michaels, after the referee signaled he was out and therefore called for his elimination from the match. For the moment, Joe laid there out of exhaustion as it took a TON of effort to eliminate the highly resilient legend that is the Heart Based Kid.

As he saw HBK get carried away by officials, Edge would stalk Joe.. looking to run towards him and blindside the Samoan with a forearm smash to the back of his head!

Samoa Joe was just getting up to his feet
when he was attacked by the Ultimate Choppertunist, as he stumbles into a corner and holds on so he can stay on his feet!

A bit weakened by Edge's attacks, Joe even though he is stronger is still sent to the opposite corner where he leans against the padding.
