She walked not used to the tight fit of the dress, and after a few too quick steps she tripped, she tried to catch herself.

Yuki was up in a flash, going to his knees to catch her deftly in his strong arms. "Are you alright?" He said softly, looking concerned. "You didn't hurt anything, did you?"
Sairi, upon seeing the sweet scene, decided to exit the room and got find breakfast for herself.

Soi blushed as she was caught, "Stupid Dress..." she mumbled. She started to to stand up patting the front of her dress.

He smiled a bit and put his hand on her back to help her up. "I bet it would be hard to learn to walk in such a thing. Just take it slow and get used to it, I'm sure you'll be fine." He stood back up, "Are you hungry?"

"Quite...I didn't eat last night...or this morning...I was too busy in the smith shop..." she pouted, "Why do women have to wear a such confining clothes?"

He offered his arm to escort her to the kitchens. "I'm not sure, if you wish we could get you some peasant clothes, so you don't have to be that confined. I mean they tend fields and livestock in those dresses, if you'd be more comfortable."

He nodded, "you do look very nice, I'm sure she will be quite impressed." He escorted her down into the kitchen where several girls were preparing food. "This is Lady Soi, she'd like breakfast."
"Oh!" The oldest of the girls said, "Just tell me what you'd like and I'll prepare it, then you can go back to your room, I'll have a serving girl bring it to you."

"Alright, I'll bring you some rice and beef, it's quite good and already prepared." She went into fixing the plates and trays.
Yuki motioned for her to go first, then started walking down the hallway. "So, do you want to pratice controlling your powers? I talked to a serving girl before I got food and she said Suboshi and Tatsuko are in a meeting with one of the Princes of Kutou. We have some time to do some testing."

"Sure, we can go out into the training yard and see about getting you some control." He waited for her to retrieve it, then lead her out to the yard. "By the time we're done, your breakfast should be ready."

She retrieved her sword and came out into the courtyard, she held her sword by the center of the sheeth, the blue and white ivory hilt glimering in the light.
"Ready."

Soi unsheathed her sword and tucked the sheeth into the back of her sash. She closed her eyes, holding her sword down at a relaxed position, she controled her breathing and focused, soon the tip of her sword sparked.
