~Enters Arashigakure Academy~
โฏ Kazuto Kirigaya a young newly graduated academy student traversed through the halls of the Academy, books and scrolls nestled in his arms and a backpack with more and his newly gifted headband adorned across his forehead. He was approaching the courtyard to begin his training of his first day as a Genin. It was a challenge traversing through the crowds at the Academy but he knew he was approaching his destination soon.XxXxX
โฏ Finally arriving at the courtyard and with a low grunt he dropped the scrolls, books and bag in front of him, and with a low sigh he wiped the sweat from his brow fully revealing his face that was buried behind the mass of papers and books. His brown hair slightly blowing in the wind and than looking up with his deep brown eyes to the sun which shined across the land. It was the first beautiful day in Arashigakure he's seen in over a year which was perfect for training. Looking down at his school jacket, tie, and unkempt dress shirt he patted off the dust before kneeling down at the array of scrolls and books scattered across the ground. He needed to learn as much jutsu outside of medical as he could before his vacation was up and needed to go back to work at the hospital.XxXxX
โฏ As he sorted through the papers and skimmed through the books he jotted down the procedures, handsigns, and proper chakra consumption of the jutsu he preferred and the ones that would best suit his style of training. He began to circulate the chakra within his body and perform the two jutsu that he knew he could learn quickly. First the C rank Great Breakthrough [ Daitoppa ] | Rank C. Performing the necessary handsign he inhaled and directed it at a boulder and blew it straight and effortlessly through the boulder breaking it to bits. With a silent gesture and the word "Nice!" he than performed the second jutsu. It was just slightly more complicated than the first but with practice he performed the necessary handsigns and inhaled deeply before circulating his chakra flow and aiming it into the sky. "Gลkakyลซ no Jutsu Great Fireball Technique!" and with that a massive fireball escaped his mouth and soared through the sky before dispersing shortly after. [Learned 2 jutsu]XxXxX
Great Breakthrough [ Daitoppa ] | Rank C After bringing a hand to their mouth, the user blows a large blast of wind while simultaneously using their chakra to greatly increase its oxygen count. The result is a highly flammable wind ninjutsu that, when paired a katon ninjutsu, gains a two-rank increase when used in a katon korabo instead of the normal one. Conversely, this jutsu also suffers a two-rank strength loss versus katon ninjutsu when used by itself. May only be koraboโd with up to a B ranked katon jutsu. When used with a katon technique this technique does not cost an activation to use. Gลkakyลซ no Jutsu [ Great Fireball Technique ] | Rank C Katon โข Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The Shinobi does the necessary hand seals, draws Chakra from their mouth into their chest and then immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the Shinobi will bring their hand to their mouth to control it.

โฏXxXxX Hours went by on his studies and the day was lurking into night, figuring he could learn about 2 more jutsu before it was too dark to train anymore. Kazuto sifted through his studies and found the next 2 he decided he would learn before it was too late. Circulating his chakra through his body and performing the necessary handsigns he took a deep breath and positioned his fingers in front of his mouth and blew aiming at the stars "Hyakkaryouran!" multiple spheres of fire exploded from his mouth and illuminated the courtyard as it soared into the sky like fireworks and exploded at its peak. Looking at his success a large grin formed across his face in awe as the remaining sparks danced around him before slowly dispersing around him engulfing him in darkness once again. [Learned 1 jutsu]
Hyakkaryouran [ Many Flowers in Bloom ] Rank: X [learned as D] Official Description: Hana Ninpou โข Hyakkaryouran is a Ninjutsu technique used by Flower Country Shinobi. After maneuvering their opponent into a field of flowers, the Shinobi will ignite flowers surrounding their target. These flames will race towards the target and explode upon reaching them. Guild Description: See official description. Requires: A field of flowers. Each rank of chakra spent allows for larger flames and field of effect, with 5 yards of fire allowed per rank placed into technique.
โฏXxXxX After his little light show Kazuto knelt back down and examined his next jutsu. "Hmmm this might be trickier.." He muttered to himself with a perplexed look on his face and studying the basis of the jutsu. "...Alright lets give it a try, it's starting to make more sense now..." Brushing off his pants yet again he stood up and began to weave his chakra and circulating it though his legs and feet, the handsigns were a bit more extensive but he was running out of time and needed to learn at least 1 more of his jutsu. "Fuuton: shunshin no jutsu!" Almost instantly his feet left the ground and without realizing how much trajectory was involved in the jutsu and not being aware of his surroundings he was flung across the courtyard like a rag doll and thrown into the side of the academy walls with a loud thud and thump knocking the wind out of him. Coughing and struggling to get up he managed to get a few winded words out of himself "Ok...*cough* ...Little less oomf next time...*cough* Oww! My back... " He exclaimed to himself holding his back in the process before finally making it on his feet again.
โฏXxXxX Kazuto practiced the jutsu a little bit longer before finally getting it done the right way and to his liking. Exhausted and still holding his back Kazuto decided it was time to head out. It was too dark to see his work anyway and he was getting hungry, and so with that he stumbled over to his pile of books and scrolls and began packing them away before returning it to the academy's library and leaving the campus. Fuuton: Shunshin no Jutsu [ Wind Release: Instant Movement Technique ] | Rank D Nearly exactly like the Maruton version of Shunshin no Jutsu, this iteration lifts the user into the air, allowing for flight over the same distance as the technique it's based on. Releases a small burst of air upon use, pushing back projectiles thrown at the user. Usable up to three times per battle, including the other versions of Shunshin.
Ending his vigorous exercising, Chosuke gave a quizzical look to Shikane as she inspected the bottle Inoyuri had brought to her. Alcohol? What was something like that doing just lying around and why was it in a bottle labeled "water"? Definitely a bonehead move on the Arashikage's part. Admittedly, he was still a bit curious to try it, knowing that his parents often partook of it but given the reactions of his teammates, he doubted he would be able to get a sip.
Setting the matter aside, Chosuke was all warmed up and rearing to get training. At least, he was until Inoyuri stated that they would be going over the academy techniques they had been learning in class. 'Ah man. Ninjutsu training?' he silently whined. When it came to training, Chosuke was only concerned with taijutsu. Why would he bother with all those complicated hand seals and elemental mumbo-jumbo when he could just punch his opponents? That seemed way simpler to him. Still, seeing as Inoyuri was stepping up to lead them, he chose to suck it up and go along with her instructions. After all, the last thing he wanted to do was complain and make her feel bad.
ใLearning: Kaiใ Once their fearless leader had returned with scrolls in hand, Chosuke followed her lead in practicing the various techniques. The way the book described the Kai technique, Chosuke had no idea if what he was doing was actually correct. It seemed that the key to the technique was to be able to first recognize that one was actually in a genjutsu by picking up on the changes the caster had made to the environment. 'So you have to be aware of your surroundings then.' If that was the case, he was definitely going to have a tough time if anyone used genjutsu against him. At the very least, he was able to form the proper hand seal or something that he considered to be close enough by copying Inoyuri's example. ใLearning: Kaiใโ
ใLearning: Henge no Jutsuใ Thankfully Henge no Jutsu produced an effect that he could actually see. It was pretty crazy seeing Inoyuri transform herself into both himself, then Shikane and then a rock. "So you can change your appearance with this technique then? What should I change into then? Hmmm..........Ah-ha!" Finally coming up with what he thought to be a good idea for a test run of the technique. Forming the hand seals just as Inoyuri had, he focused his chakra and in a brief puff of smoke, he transformed himself into...........well, still himself but now with a goatee. "Whadya think? Pretty manly, right?" he declared, striking a proud pose. Unfortunately, with the limited control he had of his chakra, he was only able to maintain this new appearance for about thirty seconds but man, what glorious thirty seconds it was. ใLearning: Henge no Jutsuใโ
ใLearning: Bunshin no Jutsuใ With the disappearance of his imaginary facial hair, Chosuke moved onto the next Inoyuri had to show them, Bunshin no Jutsu. Unlike Inoyuri though, his best efforts were only able to produce one clone of himself. 'This is why I stick to punches.' he thought with a small sigh. Still, one was all he needed to practice the next jutsu on the agenda so chose not to dwell on it. ใLearning: Bunshin no Jutsuใโ
ใLearning: Substitution Techniqueใ Taking a defense of stance, Chosuke instructed the clone he had made to attack, triggering the Substitution Technique. However, upon receiving the "attack", he was surprised to find that nothing had happened. "Huh? What went wrong?"[ he questioned, patting himself down to make sure that he was indeed in the same spot. Suddenly, it occurred to him what had gone wrong. "Oh yeah. I gotta find something to replace myself with. Riiiiight." he thought aloud, smacking himself on the forehead. It was a good thing he was too simpleminded to feel embarrassed about such an obvious mistake. Once more, he created a clone to and had it attack him. This time though, he was successfully able to swap places with a nearby rock. "There we go! That's how it's done!" he shouted cheerfully. ใLearning: Substitution Techniqueใโ
ใLearning: Art of Walking on Water; Art of Walking on Wallsใ The remaining techniques that Inoyuri had planned for them to learn were actually some of the few techniques that genuinely interested Chosuke, as they allowed a person to traverse surfaces that were normally impossible. Unfortunately, without a significant body of water nearby, they were unable to practice the Art of Walking on Water, but it shared enough principals with the Art of Walking on Walls that he confident the training wouldn't be too difficult to transfer. Thus, Chosuke stepped up the academy wall and began practicing. At first, he found little to no success, not even managing to stick his initial foot to the wall. Fortunately, his frustration only served to fuel his determination to get this technique down. He refused to let the others down or hold them back. He would conquer this wall.
After many attempts, Chosuke was finally able to get his first foot to grip the wall by focussing his chakra into it. Having successfully completed the first step (literally), it was time to attempt to now get his second foot on the wall. This would prove to be even more difficult for the young Akimichi, as he found it nearly impossible to focus on both feet at the same time, leading to a long string of missteps and mistakes. However, no matter how hard his body hit the ground below, he was right back on his feet and ready to try again.
It wasn't long before Chosuke lost count of his failed attempts but none of that mattered once he finally managed to successfully get his second foot on the wall. Before he knew it two steps turned into three, then four, then five, and so on. It had been an uphill battle but finally, he was able to claim victory over this technique. 'Hah! Take that you stupid wall!' he thought triumphantly. ใLearning: Art of Walking on Water; Art of Walking on Wallsใโ
Still clinging to the wall from his most recent attempt at walking up it, Chosuke heard Inoyuri call to him from the ground below, asking how things were going. "I'm hanging in there, boss!" he called back to her with a cheerful smile, laughing hardily at his own joke. Unfortunately, his laughter caused him to lose focus, costing him the grip his feet had on the wall. "AAAAHHHHH!" Crashing the ground below with a solid thud, Chosuke was left flat on his back with his legs propped up against the wall. Thankfully, he had avoided any major injury but the impact had successfully knocked the wind out of him and would surely leave him feeling quite sore. "I'm.......I'm okay." he called out in a dazed voice, holding out a shaky hand to give his friends a thumbs up, in hopes that it would convince them that he was indeed fine. Of course, from their perspective, it would appear as a thumbs down, which was perhaps a more honest representation of how he was actually feeling.

Of course Inoyuri would be upset. Shikane mentally sighed to herself in her head but doesn't show it on her expressions, "Nah. I wuldn't gotten poisoned, I would just be loopy." Shikane explained to her friend and teammate. They all thought it was water so it wasn't just Inoyuri. Sadly, Inoyuri doesn't see that. It seemed that Inoyuri wanted to do some academy techniques as she grumbled a little bit. Awesome. It seemed Inoyuri had went first and she did well. Next was Chosuke. It seemed that Chosuke wasn't too thrilled, judging by his body language, about Ninjutsu training and she doesn't blame him. Although, they both had different reasons. Shikane had been watching Chosuke and Inoyuri. Chosuke seemed to be very well with taijutsu and possibly, medical. Inoyuri? Genjutsu and maybe even scholar but her teammates can always surprise her.
They both had done kai very well and Shikane, being herself, was already a bit ahead of them, however, she doesn't like to gloat or anything of the matter so she did the hand signs a very times to appease her teammates. Inoyuri had decided to use Henge no Jutsu to change into Chosuke, herself and then a rock. How interesting. Hearing Chosuke speak, she glanced towards Chosuke, a soft snort can be heard from Shikane. Chosuke had actually made her smile a little bit. "Ah, so that's what ya gonna look like with facial hair." Shikane mused towards him.
Clones. Ah that was easy, one of the many few things her father had went ahead and taught her. Which was rare in itself, her dad was pretty lazy. As Shikane did the handseals, few clones of herself appeared. All of them went poof in a small cloud except for one. She glanced at herself and they both were pretty lazy. Ha. As her other self attacked Shikane, she poofed and was replaced with a branch that was behind the clone Shikane. With that, the clone Shikane poof as the real one started to stretch, her ribs popping. "Ah." That felt much better.
Lastly there was the walking on walls, with a head start, Shikane ran up to the wall and then sat down at the edge of it, watching her teammates train. It seemed that Chosuke was struggling a little bit. Inoyuri didn't do bad at all and neither did herself. Chosuke was definitely meant for taijutsu or even buki if he wishes but not so much for ninjutsu that was for sure. A soft crack at the corner of her lips when Cho had finally gotten it right. But then he lost his focus. Her eyelid closed as she grimaced a bit when she heard Chosuke land with a thud. With a soft sigh, she placed her elbow on her thigh and her chin onto her hand and rested it. "We could be try to focus on training to increase ya focus," Shikane teased. But in all seriousness, Shikane hopped down and went to the bag of food she brought. She got out chocolate protein bar and handed it to Chosuke, "Toughen up them muscles, something like this will soon be a tickle when ya get stronger." With that, she turned to face Inoyuri with a smile, "Good job."

These three intimidating ladies would thusly approach the group of kids. They looked like what would typically be considered 'delinquents'. Two of them enviously buxom but all three of them sported different colored skin. It would look like they were fit to cause trouble but rather than that they completely ignored the kids as the red one reached down to where the bottle of alcohol was left and snatched it. She'd thusly sniff it and group with her sisters in an aside.
"False alarm, it isn't prissy alcohol just alcohol that was held by someone prissy." The woman would down the beverage, without a second thought. Something like this couldn't belong to kids after all. If anything some drunkard likely forgot it, and with the permeating scent of another oni on the bottle it was unsurprising that one of their kin would do something like this, even though it wasn't. "In rather poor taste to leave alcohol in the presence of non-oni children." "Whoever did must have been a biiiiiig doofus." Mature, Brash, Childish. Cool Beauty, Hotheaded Tomboy, Mildly Condescending Brat. These would be the terms to describe the voices and demeanors of the three women based on first impressions. Suddenly the red one would address the group. "Hey you punk kids! You seen a big blue idiot, this high, looks gay, talks all frilly and stupid like." "Hehe. Sounds like you Aoi." "Normally I find your sense of humor charming but in this case, Midori, Kindly shut up." The red-skinned one would make motions to the how tall the person they were looking for was with a dumb expression on her face, while the green one stewed from her sister shutting her down in a puffed down pout while the blue moved her eyes into their corners detesting her current circumstances of having to associate with her 'sisters'. Now the kids could very well help the gals, or not and continue whatever it was they were doing. This was just one of the many opportunities that carried a potential with it. After all the three gals were rather to some degree 'intimidating'.

This was so annoying, not needing to train and regain what strength he had lost, no. The fact that he had not had a cigarette in four days. It was like a twinge in the back of his neck which translated to a twitch of his left eye and a grumpy look on his face. How much of his strength had he really lost? In reality he had not lost all that much. It was less that he had gotten weaker but more that those around him were comparatively stronger than before. As he mounted the stairs the lessons he had learned started to come back to him. The crackle of thunder, the blast of its force. To him it was one of the most destructive elements man could use. Others had some purpose other than death but lightning, lightning was pure death and destruction. [1/1]
Even as he walked the stairs to the upper levels, the encased and protected training areas, the memories pulsed. Right alongside the memories were pulses of irritation and frustration. Irritated at the state of the world, frustration at himself for not being able to empower the empire as it deserved. Pushing in the door he stepped into the encased training area. Making sure to seal it behind him he took a deep breath before he exploded. His chakra erupted from the man in the form of a torrent of electricity,"God ******** damn it!" [1/1]
Concentrating more of his chakra into his hands, Shiro slammed them into the ground before him. The chakra seeping into the ground erupted into the flooring ripping chunks and seams out of if, reinforced or no. Each breath he took fueled his anger and chakra pulsing the storming electricity to greater and greater magnitudes. Filling the room with crackling and popping. [1/1]
However, even as quickly as it erupted, as quickly as the storm began it had ceased. There he stood amid the dust and dirt of the destruction he brought to the room. Adorning the mans body was a an aura of translucent crackling lighting of a bright gold color. He could feel the current coursing through his body sharping his senses, and slowing the world around him. The thick streaming aura of golden crackling might soon faded however as he regained control of his emotions. It was something that he had always fought with, he was quick to anger and his temper was explosive. [1/1]

Inoyuri watched as her companions got to work with the basic ninja techniques of old. They had been used time and time again by all kinds of ninja, so they couldn't be that hard. CHoosuke tried to grow himself facial hair but she laughed a little at it and tried not to seem too insulting to the plump boy. He had a bit of trouble with walking on the sides of the build like she had at the start but got the hang of it after a while. Lucky for them that Shikane was around and willing to help the boy with his appetite and calcium intake. They shared a moment together and Inoyuri gave them a thumbs up.
"Great work! Um, I think we're doing ok. It feels like it...Next, we could-"
Her focus was so rudely interrupted as a group of ostacious oni had arrived at the academy. The red one, which Yuri assumed was the leader, had asked them if they had seen somebody and gave a description of what they were looking for. It was an attempt, at least. Inoyuri roll her head to her right shoulder, hoping to find some answer in her novice noggin. A blue man? What did that mean? A man who had blue hair or was blue all of his body?
"Uh, I don't...buh-but we can help you look for him. Right, guys?"

Avalanche moved through the academy and ignored the three strange oni girls. The group seemed to be strange, but they had better things to do. The individual went for the scroll on their bloodline and read through its content. Within minutes of reading they had an ability to perform all of the highest ranking ninjutsu from their clan. Gale Winds from the Frozen Sea would have saved them a lot of frustration from the metal man, as would demonic mirroring ice crystals. Black Dragon Blizzard sounded cool from an aesthetic point, and Cyclone Snowfall sounded awesome. Finally, Wings of the Tundra and Final Frost were incredibly powerful techniques. They were skills which Avalanche could not use freely. There had to be a significant reason.
In addition, Avalanche decided to learn some more genjutsu. They decided to master the art of the illusion binding technique, as well as the rainbow illusion. They also mastered the body freeze technique, as well as the technique known as cower. Finally, they decided to learn art of fake death, as well as the dangerous game. All of these techniques played on Avalanche's mastery of genjutsu, which in turn would help them fight through most of their obstacles. Once they read these scrolls, they once again disappeared without a trace.

Shikane became tense as she tucked her hands into her pocket as if it was nothing and pretended to inspect some insect that crawled in front of her teammates as she stood in front of them. While taking on a relaxed pose, she was actually tensed. She didn't know who the voices was and Shikane's trust was extremely hard to get and deserve. In fact, she doesn't even trust her family. She only trusted two people and they were standing right behind her.
Three figures walked in and she didn't like them already. Talking about alcohol in front of children! Course she was a child herself but it didn't help! The red one started to chug down the alcohol and it seemed they were on the hunt to find a sibling of theirs. A brother. That was none of Shikane's concern or her business for that matter. At least they did agree that whoever left the alcohol wasn't smart to leave it but Shikane was now extremely annoyed.
They erased evidence she was going to bring to her teacher. ERASED it. Then they asked ACADEMY students to go help find their brother. Shikane was going to flat out tell them no until her teammate stepped up. With a sigh, Shikane turned to face Chosuke but it seemed that he had a family emergency and had to go. 'Thanks. Thanks a lot.' Shikane thought sarcastically in her mind but her face shows nothing. With a sigh and groan, her hand slipped out of her pocket and placed on the back of her neck as she rubbed it a bit. "Fine. We help. Where ya done seen him last? Any favorite squatting spots he has?" She questioned the trio.

__ After three oldies left and a Nara and Yamanaka were just standing there Satoshi would appear in the academy. He was running as fast as he could through the complex from the nearby Spire to avoid being late. He was visiting Toso in the Spire and giving him a present he had been working on for months and lost track of time. A large crow with glowing purple eyes was flying next to him with a lunchbox in his talons. Satoshi's hands were on his backpack straps as he continued running. The bell rang the moment he arrived and he breathed a sigh of relief but was clearly exhausted by how fast he was running. A purple light flashed through his eyepatch three times while he winced in pain. His crow eye was being triggered by the stress of being late. Once it stopped and he caught his breath he looked over at Shikane and Inoyuri. He recognized them from his various class periods and in the hallways but did not know their names. He stored his backpack and lunchbox in a locker before the crow landed on his shoulder. Satoshi then approached them with a friendly smile. "Hi, I'm Satoshi! Did I miss any morning announcements bloop?" The nerdy boy really hoped that he did not miss anything important and was quite anxious about it but wanted to be friendly.

Just as the group was preparing to locate the oni that was tasked of them, the trio of women vanished as quickly as they appeared. Young Inoyuri gave a confuzzled look to the Nara located to the left of her position. "They were...weird." Not everyday that you see that happening. Not unless you were in Storm Country. After a bit of time passed the two girls were alone once again in the training grounds. Now was a perfect time to get back on task. Sure Chosuke had gone missing to go find food or something but this was her chance! "Um, O-Okay Shikane. What should we do ne-next?" Maybe they could go about finding new new technique for the both of them. or they could just sit here in silence while Shikane's wavering energy would force her to take her first mid day nap. All of a sudden some nearby sounds of panicked running caught her ears. Inoyuri craned her head towards the approaching action. A nerdy look boy alongside a crow was hurrying over from the main entrance of the academy training grounds. She clearly took interest having found most avian animals possess such majesty. She even debated asking for a bird of her own to care for one day. Their interruptive interloper stuffed his belongings in a locker and made his way over to them.
"Hi, I'm Satoshi! Did I miss any morning announcements bloop?"
The name had rung bells in Inoyuri's mind. She recalled a small boy mimicking the kage's speech pattern in class. It was kind of cute in a way though the stumbling student Inoyuri was probably lacked any kind of ability to really work well with him. Nothing against him, but she tended to freeze in group settings to the point of getting most of her work done alone. Her eyes shot to Shikane and then back to their new friend.
"N-No. No announcements yet...I-I'm Inoyuri and she's Shikane. It's, um, nice to meet you."

When her pink-haired friend had mentioned that they were weird, Shikane shrugged her shoulders. She didn't have a problem that they left. Shikane wasn't in the mood to help others, although, she knows that was part of her job. To care for the Arashigakure. She just believes there are priorities, such as them losing their brother? While he could be in danger, but he could also be drunk and sleeping it off somewhere, that was another option. Yet, she couldn't help but feel that nagging feeling that maybe, just maybe, she should go check it out. It seemed that fate played another hand on them.
Her eyes glanced over to the sounds of running feet and she saw the crow. She remembered seeing this boy around. He seemed to be around their age. Also, he was the son or... nephew of Toso. She and her father had different theories but they kept it to themselves. As long there was no harm to them, they shouldn't worry/stress about it. Always keep an eye or mind out about it was on her mind. It seemed that her Yamanaka friend had introduced her for her as Shikane simply rose her hands and rested them behind her head in a relaxed position. It was of her way of saying, hi.

__ He was relieved to hear that announcements had not started yet and if morning announcements had not started yet then that meant that he made it in time. He heard light mocking giggles coming from his crow companion. "By the skin of your teeth, Sato!" The bird seemed to enjoy his master's misfortune but was verifiably trustworthy at the same time. His face was clearly uncomfortable by the crow embarrassing him. When Shikane waved at him he waved back. He was immediately impressed by her cool demeanor because he was always so anxious about every little aspect of his life. He had a massive secret to carry around and he wanted to get good grades and make the Hojo family happy on top of missing his mother. Inoyuri seemed really anxious and he was not sure why. "Nice to meet you, Inoyuri and Shikane." He offered a friendly smile and also repeated their names to make sure he remembered them. Satoshi paused briefly before asking a more personal question of the young Yamanaka. "Are you okay? Do we have exams today?!" The overly studious boy suspected that she might be nervous because of school tests. This made him extra nervous at the thought that he might have forgotten to study for a test. He was so focused on finishing the poster for Toso that he feared he might have forgotten that today was an exam day. Yogen began laughing again that the little ball of anxiety that was his summoner was acting up again over nothing.

Oh, her dear Nara friend was being ill mannered again. She hadn't said anything ever since the strange student barreled in through the halls. She shot Shikane a look as if to scold her but went back to their new friend over here. His pet crow had caught the Yamanaka's interest and she found herself going back to it every now and again. In fact, it wasn't until he spoke up after his introduction that she was pulled back to reality as gently as a Toso sized fist in the wall.
"Are you okay? Do we have exams today?"
"Um, ah..." Inoyuri's mind just went blank. Was she okay? Hell no. She was anxious of everything! What her grades were, what kind of strange beasts would await her on her first mission. What else was there to this torment? "Ah, I'm okay. I promise." Ignore those thoughts, Yuri. "Exams? Well, n-not really. The next one isn't for a week at least. I-I think it's for Maruton or something. Why?" she asked him out of curiousity. Not many people really worried about them. Well maybe just her but they were pretty easy.
"Do you need help studying?"
