Shattering platters was still the low point of all the games he played. Despite better aim and less vision impairment, the Dewott only managed to hit one of the plates. With a sigh, he took his feeble winnings and moved on to the crossbow game, careful to maneuver his way through the legs of the surrounding people. He climbed up and took aim, doing a decent job of consistently aiming in the same area, though it was primarily the outer rings that he hit. Still, he took the tokens gladly and hopped down.
Noah paused, adjusting his helmet a moment as the sounds of commotion caught his ears. There were several other trainers gathered around who seemed to be being confronted by some knight-like individuals. For a moment he didn’t pay it any mind, moving on to the other games. But… something about the folk seemed familiar…

Now that he was tall enough to reach the booth, Noah opted to give the Rapidash races a go. He didn’t really understand the concepts of betting, but he was pretty sure that all he needed was the ticket and that everything else would fall into place. At first it seemed his selected horse would win, though quickly it fell behind as some man shouting disrupted the race and threw off the horse’s concertation. Noah huffed and claimed his third place winnings, moving off to give the berry bobbing a try.
And damn was he a pro! The timer went off indicating he was done and he emerged victorious with eight berries to his name! Whipping away the water from his face he grinned proudly as he took his winnings, deciding to leave the berries behind. Quickly skipping his way back in the direction of the prize booth where Lafayette was, he suddenly came to a halt as another pair of those oddly dressed knights passed him. That emblem… on their tunics. He froze a bit as his memory was suddenly jolted. He knew exactly what that symbol was and who it belong too and upon closer inspection, he realized the familiar outfits that the individuals were wearing.
Lafayette had worn the same thing at one point in time.
In a bit of a panic he picked up his pace, quickly seeking out his trainer to alert him. What in the world was Plasma doing here?! He’d have to let him know; they certainly weren’t here before…

One moment Ko was happily cuddling her little darling Ohmnesa, then another moment she was cuddling the air. Her eyes widened when Ohmnensa's cheerful cries suddenly vanished. Looking up she couldn't find her little baby anywhere. Who had taken her!? "Ohmnensa!?" She called, turning to gaze back at Ohm. He wasn't pulling a trick on her and hiding the Togepi behind his back? No... she was sure she'd still hear the babies giggles. Looking around some more, a male dressed much like many others had popped up to wreck havoc on the poor faire goers. Ko was quickly getting annoyed, but for now.. she had to find her baby.
Setting forward the brunette was quickly intercepted by a male wearing the strange armour, hood up to hide the orange died hair. "I've come to liberate your Pokemon! Hand them over and no one will get hurt!" He shouted. Ko held a hand up defensively, taking a step back slightly, before Fone and Oorin stepped up to block the male's path. "Liberate? You mean steal? Where did you take my Togepi?!" Ko asked, her tone demanding. "We're saving Pokemon from their prison. Didn't you hear? Pokemon are being used as tools by you trainers. You've brainwashed them into thinking they're fighting with you, but really they're being forced to fight for you." Ko furrowed a brow. "I do not hold my friends hostage." The brunette replied. " Don't you for one second assume as such. I put them in less danger than I do myself." She added, waving a finger around in the air. "Liar. It's all lies. Friends? I don't think so. How could you store your friends in those balls? Would you do that to your human friends? I think not!"
Ko wasn't entirely disagreeing with the male this time, but she wasn't agreeing with him either. Pokeballs weren't harmful, they protected the Pokemon when there is danger around... especially if they ventured someplace where they couldn't, like a Onix wouldn't be able to cross an ocean riding on the back of a Lapras, a Pokeball would be a safe haven for it. Then a though accrued. "I wouldn't mind being put in a Pokeball at times. Especially if I'm to cross tundra that as a human I couldn't. Or was unsafe to do so." She stated. "Pokemon are the same. You wouldn't expect a Goldeen to cross a desert would you? Or a Charmander to walk through a marsh, would you?" Ko replied. "Pokeballs are ingenious inventions that keep certain Pokemon safe in precarious situations." However it seemed her logic was being entirely ignored. The male stomped his foot, motioning forward a Krokorok. A battle was it? Fine.. she'd make this quick. "Yakule, come on out." She called, summoning the large Gogoat from his ball. Quickly turning towards Ko, the brunette had to grab both of Yakule's horns, else she fall backwards. "Yakule, this guy.,. I don't get what his deal is, but Ohmnensa was kidnapped, and he's blocking our path from getting her back." Ko explained. A soft grunt fell from Yakule's maw as his head bobbed up and down. He could sense it.. .Ko's feelings through his horns. Looking up the goat turned back to face his opponent. "Make this quick, Yakule, use Earthquake!" Yakule didn't skip a beat. Feeling what Ko was feeling, the goat reared up on it's hind legs and slammed them down a moment later, causing a shock wave that rumbled the earth below the crocodile. (1oo + 3ox2 - 3o = 23o to Krokorok ) "Use Foul Play!" The male demanded. Recovering from that super effective move, the Korokorok rushed forward, stummbling some as he approached Yakule. It still managed to hit him, but Yakule wasn't showing any sort of pain from the dark-type attack. ( 95 + 3o - 3o = 95 to Yakule ) "Finish it, Yakule!" Ko called out. Yakule rose back up onto his hind legs, quickly slamming them down upon the earth, shaking it once more below the Krokorok, this time the crocodile completely lost it's footing and fainted as it hit the ground. No more Pokemon to defend himself, the male quickly ran away. Ko approached Yakule to praise him for a battle well fought, when suddenly a pair of twins approached. One, a boy, stopped holding up Ohmnensa.. still cheerfully waving her little arms through the air. Had she thought her kidnapping was apart of a game of some sort? "Ohmnensa!" Ko called as she quickly collected the baby, hugging her tightly. Ohmnensa wiggled her hands, casting a pretty light from her little nobs. Ko glanced down watching her issue the Dazzling Gleam move. Though it wasn't harmful in this innocent state, it was still beautiful, and it made Ko realize... maybe Ohmnensa might want to try and take part in a battle.

Jubilee was squealing in excitement as she skipped off the train; if MD hadn’t latched onto the back of her shirt, she probably would’ve disappeared in the blink of an eye. Uriah wasn’t nearly as enthused, though he did have a look of impressed surprise on his face as he set Chromie down.
"Huh… it’s bigger than I thought." The red-head remarked, earning a bit of a look from his trainer. What a powerful observation that was; really. Jubilee was jumping for joy, eyes wide as she stared at all the attractions. "It’s amazing! Look at all the people in costume! And pokemon! And the games and oooooooo this will be fantastic!" She was grinning wide now; whatever thoughts were going through her head were big ones. MD chuckled, shoving his hands in the pockets of his coat before moving forward through the entrance gate.
"It is pretty neat looking. I’ve never actually been to one of these before, you know?" He mused, pausing to take a look at one of the nearby map boards. There were apparently multiple areas that they could visit; a stage area, tourney fields, the kitchens and a sparring arena. There were stalls with vendors and their wares lining the pathways too; a lot of interesting stuff to look into.
"Oh hey, what’s that?!" Jubilee suddenly chimed, darting free and zooming over to check out the prize booth situated in the middle of the fair. MD blinked, shooting Uriah a curious glance before following after. The other Zorua still didn’t seem amused by all this, glancing down and ushering Chromie to stay close before he followed suit towards the booth.

Yukie struggled a little to get back to his feet refusing any sort of help from Akela slapping her arm away when ever she would try. Being touched wasn't high on his list of pleasurable activity's for the time being. In fact it was quite the opposite. Akela's attention and concern for his well being while well intending where causing a mental flare up. It would take time but this would pass. Once to his feet Yukie lead the way slowly making sure to keep within reach of Akela despite his current dislike of physical contact. Pulling from his belt the Chansey's pokeball and releasing the off blue medical pokemon who for a moment blinked before puffing her checks out and looking like she might attack Yukie herself. Cyrus couldn't help but feel that he might come to regret this decision as he neared the changing stall. Taking a deep breath, he entered the stall and got to work on changing his clothes. Argo had perched on the outside of the stall, rather amused by the entire situation. Cyrus packed his clothes into his bag, pulling the dress on. It was an odd fit, but the size appeared to be right. Luckily, it wasn't a dress that required boobs. In fact, it seemed like it tied in the back rather than zipped. Holding the dress up and the top part of the dress against his chest, he stepped out of the changing stall. "Please tie me up, Apollo." he asked, turning to present his back, loose ribbon dangling from the dress. The Egyptian's face looked like it was trying to match the dress. He hoped no one else that actually knew him would see him like this. God, it'd be the worst if Zak and that walking set of tits saw him like this.

Following Ko's lead Ohmarow too was confronted by the men in the odd grey space armor unlike Ko however he wasn't in the talking mood now. An instinctive urge to get past these people and get Ohmensa back safely directed him actions. Barreling right into the man closed to him Ohmarow acted without thinking his body simply knew what to do. A skill set that laid dormant from his past left unused but to some degree still intact mentally. Grabbing the shoulder of the mans armor and pulling forward while at the same time crossing legs with the thieves he effectively was able to throw him to the ground where he then twisted the mans wrist to contort and subdue him. Unfortunately there where more Grunts then Ohmarow could take on and they didn't take as kindly to his perhaps overly aggressive but effective fashion in dealing with them.
One of the grunts released a pokemon that promptly tackled Ohmarow knocking him off his subdued victim. It wasn't enough to cause any real pain and Ohmarow was back to his feet a second later. Goolm prevented a second attack on his person using his large hands as a shield giving Ohmarow enough time to call upon a pokemon more suited to the situation. "Dewott! Dew, dewott!" Noah frantically called as he wove his way through the legs and past the bodies of other faire goers as he tried to make his way back to where he’d last seen Lafayette. As he ran, it became more and more apparent to him how many Plasma grunts were actually roaming the area. Some were harassing trainers and vendors, others were continuing to preach the speech of trainers liberating their pokemon of their own free will.
All this just spelt bad news in his mind. Fortunately, he caught sight of Lafayette, the man shoving what looked to be an oddly colored mushroom into his bag as his claimed win from the lotto. He seemed to be browsing the other options as well when it came to prizes, possibly considering spending some tokens; the bag was starting to get heavy after all. His attention was diverted though at the sound of Noah calling for him. What was the deal?

Noah was only a few feet away from Lafayette before one of those strange knight fellows stepped in front of his fleeting form blocking his path. ”You poor creature.” The man remarked, another of his peers joining to surround the poor Dewott as his head shook in disdain. ”Dressed up like a child’s play thing. Such an insulting act to force on an innocent pokemon.” The Dewott puffed his cheeks out, paws immediately flying up to protectively hold the helmet on his head in place.
Lafayette of course, was silently watching. The joyful grin quickly fading to a solemn stern expression. Much like Noah had, he immediately recognized the individuals for who they were. He’d worn the same outfit, followed the same ideology and worked the same tasks as they had at one point in his life. So this was what Juliean had meant by ‘old crew’. It’d been what… a little over a year, since he’d left their organization. It brought back very strong memories for him. Ones that were… less than pleasant in the grand scheme of things.
"Nick off mate and leave meh pokie alone." The blonde growled as he approached the group of three grunts surrounding Noah. The man who had questioned the costume looked up, the slightest of frowns crossing his face as Lafayette came to a halt in front of him. He honestly seemed to be sizing him up for some reason but shook his head and turned to fully address the trainer.
”Hmph. You’re dressed as a knight but it is clear you are anything but honorable.” The grunt remarked earning a narrowed gaze and a scoff from Lafayette. Ah yes, he was very familiar with this attitude. The man didn’t seem phased though, simply continuing with his spiel.
”We of team Plasma are dedicated-“"-to the liberation of pokies from the’ trainers." Lafayette interrupted, the man looking a bit surprised in response. "To the common belief tha’ pokie and humans shouldn’ be yakkin’ togetha'. " His head tilted to the side as a slight smile crossed his face. "I know ya creed well mate." The Plasma grunt stared, brow furrowed as he seemed to take this in. He seemed to be questioning something in the back of his mind, the other two of his companions looking between each other with uncertainty.
”Then you won’t stand in the way of us liberating your pokemon from you.” He replied curtly, looking over his head and giving a nod at his compatriots. Immediately the two nodded, one immediately kneeling down and snatching a surprised Noah up and under one arm and starting to rush off in a different direction. "DEWOTT!"
"NOAH!" The grunt stepped in between Lafayette and the fleeting figures, one hand held up to prevent him from taking another step to give chase. ”You may be familiar with our ideals, but clearly you do not practice them.” The man remarked as he reached for a pokeball of his own, earning a glare from the blonde. ”We will liberate all pokemon from the tyranny of trainers such as yourself!’ Lafayette growled. So it was a battle these fools wanted? Well fine, he’d give them one.

Lafayette eyed the gator pokemon as it was unleashed, expression grim as his eyes darted after the fleeing figures with Noah squirming in their grips. Yes, this all seemed about standard; knowing that didn’t lighten his mood though.
"C’mon Eve." The blonde commanded, tossing the ball and summoning the Ivysaur out into the commotion. The grunt just made a noise a look of serious disappointment on his face at the sight. ”Of course. I had hoped that was your only pokemon in need of liberation given your knowledge of us… I suppose I was wrong.” Lafayette just stared the man down. If this was an attempt to guilt him, it wasn’t going to work. Quite the opposite in fact. Before the grunt could so much as open his mouth to try and issue a command, the blonde was calling out an attack of his own.
"Eve, Giga Drain." The Ivysaur blinked but with a ‘Saur!’ immediately sucked the life out of the unsuspecting Krokorok. The man looked startled; that was certainly not something he’d expected to have happen so quickly. With wide eyes, he watched as the gator hit the ground in an unconscious thud. Lafayette’s gaze was still marked with a clear lack of amusement, even as the grunt returned the pokemon in question.
"So mate, which sageo is it?" He remarked, arms folding over his chest as the man went for yet another pokeball.

MD came to a halt just behind Jubilee, watching as the girl all but pressed her face right into the glass casing to get a look. He let her have her curiosity moment before gently tugging her away, momentarily leaving a giant smudge print of her face on the glass casing. He knelt over and took a look himself, hands still in his pockets as he considered all the items. They had quite a bit on display and from the looks of it, a wide variety of prizes available.
"It looks like you could win just about anything here." He remarked thoughtfully, a hand reaching to rub the back of his neck. This would certainly be an excellent place to stock up on supplies… hell, even collect some things to help make his team stronger.
”Even a legendary pokemon good sir!” A voice suddenly piped, snapping the man’s attention up in slight surprise. A fellow working behind the booth was grinning widely in his direction, arms folded on top of the counter as he watched the trio examine the goods. Jubilee was grinning right back at him in slight awe; he was in costume after all and that just amazed her. Uriah didn’t seem all that interested, eyes rolling as he stepped away to look elsewhere at the prizes.
"Oh? Really? Legendaries?" MD mused, watching the young man’s head bob excitedly. ”Oh yes sir! We’ve several lotteries running that you can enter tickets into! A chance at a magnificent treasure awaits you if you do!” MD tilted his head a bit as an eyebrow quirked upward curiously. The man certainly seemed sincere in his claim that they were offering the chance to summon a legendary. Which seemed a bit far-fetched but… also intriguing.
"Oh yeah? Well then, what would I have to do to enter one of these lottos?" The man’s grin grew even more as he gestured back to the boards behind him detailing the lotto information. ”Well sir, there are multiple ways to enter! You can, for one time only, exchange items for tickets to enter! Or, you can collect tokens and purchase tickets as you see fit!”"Hm…," Exchanging items or using tokens? Well they’d just gotten there so they had no tokens to their name just yet but… he might’ve had an item or two he could part with. And he was interested to see how legitimate this legendary thing was…
So why not?
"Alright kid, you’ve got me." MD smirked, reaching into his bag and digging around a moment. He didn’t really have much to offer given his recent situation; just a few bobbles and such that he’d manage to keep. Pulling out the sweet incense, he stared a moment before placing it on the counter. "How much will this net me?" He asked, watching as the attendant picked up the item to examine it before he received a smile. ”This’ll get you three tickets sir!” Hm… that wasn’t bad for a single item. MD nodded, giving a little waving gesture for the fellow to take it. The man nodded, storing the item away before retrieving the tickets. ”Where would you like to enter them sir?” The detective took a moment to look up at the boards again before once more giving an offhanded gesture. "Go ahead and enter them all in that legendary lotto please." The man nodded, quickly jutting down the numbers and adding them to that lotto before handing MD his own copy of the tickets. ”Good luck sir! And please, enjoy the fair!”

Putting the tickets away safely in an inside pocket of his bag, MD waved the helpful attendant goodbye and stepped away to start walking again to check out the rest of the fair. Jubilee feel in line right beside him, still giddy with excitement. Eventually Uriah trailed along behind to, Chromie back in his arms as he dully took in the sights.
"Ooo this place is amazing! I think I should dress up, what do you thinkl? They have a costumes shop right over there and all!" She gleefully exclaimed, latching onto MD’s arm with one hand while pointing in the direction of the shop with the other. The man raised an eyebrow though before he could even remark, the other of the Zorua pair spoke up.
"You don’t need a costume. Just change." Uriah remarked. Jubilee’s joyous expression faltered into a frown as she glanced in his direction. She folded one arm over her chest, resting the elbow of her other on it and rapping a fist gently against her cheek. "That’s not as much fun though…," Was her sullen remark. Uriah rolled his eyes; he really didn’t understand her at all. MD though gave her a sympathetic look, raising a hand and giving her shoulder a squeeze. That seemed to be enough to perk her back up, hands clapping together.
"Besides, I could use the costume ideas! I’ve still got to decide what I’ll want my own to look like after all." She grinned, earning another eye roll. MD just chuckled and shook his head in response, allowing her to decide if she went to rent a costume or not. "Well if you do decided to dress up, avoid the whole wizard things. It’s just garish." Jubilee gave a little cheer and skipped off to the shop to find herself something. Uriah watched her rush off, a frown ever growing on his face. "Why don’t the two of you go try some of the game, hm?" The red-head blinked, mouth twitching in in displeasure. Seriously? MD stopped, turning on his heel and waving him off. "Go on. Go play. If I need you, you’ll know." He remarked tapping the side of his head. Uriah stared, Chromie just wiggling in his arms. MD paused a moment and pulled out another pokeball unleashing Murphy his Mudkip as well. "There we go. Take those two and play some games." With that the man gave another wave and continued strolling to take a look at the stalls and the wares they were offering.
Uriah just stared. And stared. And stared. His gaze shifted to the Mudkip as she toddled up to him chirping happily. Ugh. "Come on you two, let’s go… I don’t know… play… games." Both Murphy and Chromie chirped in their own excitement, greeting one another as Uriah set the lizard down before following after him as he went to check the game booths.

Uriah led Chromie and Murphy to the nearest game booth. The Charmander looked uncertain as the red-head handed him a bean bag to throw, holding it between her claws with uncertainty as she looked up at him.
"Just chuck it in the hole in the board." Uriah explained, pointing her in the proper direction. He took a bean bag for himself to demonstrate, chucking it and landing it in the hole. "See? It’s easy. You try." The Charmander gave him a bit of a look before attempting to throw the bag as well, missing on her first try. She gave a disappointed ‘Char’ Uriah sighing and offering her the last one. "Here, try again." He remarked, kneeling down and helping her aim. This time, she landed the bag in the hole and cheered happily as the attendant handed her a small handful of shiny tokens. Uriah just nodded, thanking the attendant and ushering the pair onto a different set of games.
