They'd shared a sweet moment earlier, but now it seemed she wanted to 'catch up' with him, though he doubted it was for a round two. As his words hinted, in fact, she was actually a succubi, and one who wanted to finish the life-sucking job now that she thought he'd let his guard down. But the fact that he knew what she was the whole time had slipped through the possibilities in her mind, and since she hadn't realized her mistake, it was time he punish her...letting her harm any humans would be a bad idea, after all, and when he left he wouldn't be able to return to Iwadate. He couldn't risk it, then...though it was a shame. But Susan (that was the human name she'd used to fake her identity) was kind of a betch, anyway.

"Possessing me isn't going to change my mind, Susan! We are DONE." Apparently, if a demon was really really determined, and Yandere enough, they could possess a human being...or, well, other non-humans even. And while he could appreciate the growth in power, he did not appreciate his murderous one night stand succubi trying to possess him to force him to slit his own throat so the two would die together and meet again in the afterlife...no meant no, Susan! He didn't have time to deal with this s**t right now...and it wasn't going to work anyway, because he couldn't die! There was a lot wrong with this bloody situation!

She'd sent him a RAINBOW FREAKING BIRD. A rainbow bird, people! Apparently, she felt that the beautiful feathers of a Feng Huang were a one of a kind sight, and that they represented the kind of immaculate beauty that their 'union' had held...and what it meant to her. That sort of shmucky, romantic malarcky (yeah he said malarcky; so what? IT FIT THE SITUATION.) was exactly the kind of stuff he hated, and to hear a succubi of all things spouting off lines about true love and wanting to be together, just one man and one woman (there was a DEMON involved here, by the way) was the greatest wretched twist of fate he could imagine. The Feng Huang batted it's wings before him, creating a rainbow in an attempt to cheer up it's new master, and he had to cover his mouth to stifle a vomit as he thought about the psycho witch's feelings that must have gone into this choice. Just...no. No! Damn it Susan, things were over! They were OVER, and this was NOT HAPPENING AGAIN. ...he'd use the Feng Huang though, it was a pretty good minion to clear the streets of Iwadate for the time being. But that didn't mean he had feelings for her damn it, and that Unicorn he left behind was meant to SUBDUE her, it was NOT a freaking pony he'd sent her as a lover's gift! Grumble grumble freakin' succubi and their grumble freakin' misunderstandings...

Ha...judging by the horde of demons surrounding him now, most could guess how his conversation with the leader of this particular city had went. For you see, the things he wanted to impart to them were words of wisdom, and an alternate path that saw them seeking their own freedom. Unfortunately, they did not see things his way...and so, as he attempted to leave, he found himself surrounded by a swarm of demons, whose master had ordered they exterminate him before he interfered with their plans. It was a shame, but he was going to disappoint them this time...for you see, the 'human' bodyguard next to him was no regular man. No, the good looking, suited fellow was actually Okuninushi...and the reason he had hired him was finally at hand. You know, the bodyguarding bit, not the yandere-fending-off thing.

Tch, the Nihilo were still quite angry with him, it seemed. They were sending agents to chase him, and yet he was eluding them quite easily with the help of his talented Okuninushi. The humans thought that he was capable of disrupting their plans, and while they were right, they didn't realize that he was quite a bit more vulnerable than they assumed...his plan couldn't be foiled by one or two faction's interferences, of course, but if they continued to reject him by and large, and the factions all focused on defeating him, he would soon be left powerless where he merely wanted to help. Throwing down their Reasons was his goal, but it requires cooperation...and as of yet, he was on his own. Was this the fate of humans, to choose a path, and see it to only one terrible ending...? But it was their choice, in the end, and he could only attempt to show them the new path...the choice to walk it, if they made it, would be their own...

HE DIDN'T NEED A DIONYSUS, SUSAN. Apparently, she felt that by sending a god of debauchery to him, it'd plant some ideas in his head, and while he appreciated the effort he WASN'T PERFORMING A FREAKING SEQUEL. The lord of alcohol in greek mythology was known for throwing the wildest orgies, and that wasn't his sort of scene, though the succubi was apparently trying to show that she was open to anything as long as it made him show interest again, but it wasn't going to work, because he wasn't the kind of guy who tied himself down to some hell girl. And even if he did, he wouldn't tie himself down to a demoness who finished most of her letters by describing the things she would do to his hands with a knife to make up for his "transgressions", so it kind of defiled the point she was making by sending him new servants, even if that was very nice of her to send gifts, but DAMN IT SUSAN. Just...stay in hell, and stick to the damn plan! Ugh, if Iofiel saw him now, he wouldn't even know what to say...though maybe she would actually help him, given the particulars of the situation. No, no...adding another love-drunk girl would only make the situation even worse...no need to fan the flames in that fashion.
