Response:
Devorah looked curious at the science textbook. Content to work by herself, she immediately got to work. Opening it up she began to pour over the contents, trying to better understand some of the random elemental compounds that existed. She picked one at random, deciding on a substance called Hassium Hassium is a synthetic chemical element with symbol Hs and atomic number 108. It is a synthetic element and radioactive; the most stable known isotope. However, Hs, has a half-life of approximately 10 seconds. The synthesis of element 108 was first attempted in 1978 by a research team.
Deciding she had written a decent amount, she set her pen down and gave a little stretch. That was simple enough, and she had learned something new!

Response: Why was going to class so boring?! Kaia sighed a bit as the perky, energetic girl had to endure yet another boring class. Grumbling she marched to her seat with her textbook and dropped it with a bit of a dramatic thud onto her space. Flipping open the book, she poked her clawed digit at a random element.
Taking notes so she could talk about it, she impatiently scribbled down information about the 31st element, known as Gallium. Gallium is a chemical element with symbol Ga and atomic number 31. It is in group 13 of the periodic table, and thus has similarities to the other metals of the group, aluminium, indium, and thallium.

Response:
While not exactly space related, Juro still genuinely enjoyed Science as a whole. He was alert, listening even as he read about his element. He had chosen number 45. Nibbling at his bottom lip, the hybrid considered the details within the textbook. He could just imagine most of this stuff must have been really confusing for Natasha..he wondered if his best friend needed any help with her homework. He would have to check with her later.
Taking in his element, Juro looked thoughtful. Rhodium is a chemical element with symbol Rh and atomic number 45. It is a rare, silvery-white, hard, corrosion-resistant and chemically inert transition metal. It is a noble metal and a member of the platinum group.

Response: Cerise was considering going to grab some tea after class and a little coffee cake. She imagined she'd run into someone she knew, the girl was well liked by her peers and she generally was an easy going spirit. Deciding to give it her all in class, she came on time and was prepared with her own textbook.
Sitting down, she opened up the book to the 50th element. When it was her time to share, she simply read from the book, adding her own information about it as well as she didn't feel like taking notes...its not like she would need to know all the facts about tin of all things. Tin is a chemical element with the symbol Sn (from Latin: stannum) and atomic number 50. It is a post-transition metal in group 14 of the periodic table.

Response: Georgette stood up, clearing his throat before reading from his paper. “Neon is the tenth element in the periodic table. Neon is a colorless, odorless, inert monatomic gas under standard conditions, with about two-thirds the density of air. A monatomic gas is one in which atoms are not bound to each other. It was discovered (along with krypton and xenon) as one of the three residual rare inert elements remaining in dry air, after nitrogen, oxygen, argon and carbon dioxide were removed. Neon was the second of these three rare gases to be discovered and was immediately recognized as a new element from its bright red emission spectrum. Although neon is a very common element in the universe and solar system (it is fifth in cosmic abundance after hydrogen, helium, oxygen and carbon), it is rare here.” He sat back down and waited for class to finish.

Elijah's short little tails wiggled with excitement. He had an interest in science, so learning about it today in class seemed fun. The quiet hallowed child peered curiously at his textbook. Deciding he wanted to learn all about the elements 'n stuff, he decided to start with the very first entry. When it was his turn to share he pointed at the textbook and began to read aloud.
"Hydrogen is the chemical element with atomic number 1. At standard temperature and pressure, hydrogen is a colorless, odorless, nonmetallic, tasteless, highly flammable diatomic gas with the molecular formula H2. Oh um...hydrogen is the lightest element also!"

Response: Amon shyly peered around the door frame leading into his classroom. Taking a deep breath the bakeneko decided he needed to get this over with...not that he really knew what he wanted to do, or be when he grew up yet. The feline's tail twitched restlessly as they went to retrieve a textbook..and opened it to a random page. Picking number 103 the young Freshling read over Lawrencium.
"Lawrencium is a synthetic chemical element and atomic number 103. Its A radioactive metal, lawrencium is the eleventh transuranic element and is also the final member of the actinide series. Like all elements with atomic number over 100, lawrencium can only be produced in particle accelerators by bombarding lighter elements with charged particles."

Response:
Aodh's tail flicked in annoyance as the hybrid moved quietly into the classroom. He wasn't really interested in learning... to be fair he wasn't exactly sure what he wanted to do with his life at this point either. Aodh did know he wanted to get through school as quickly as possible so he could get on with the rest of his life. He did have an interest in marine biology... but he wasn't sure he really wanted to follow that or not.
Scowling the junior sat down. The geist-tendrils on his forearms twisted and moved in their usual interact manner. he flipped open his text book. Reading over it, he studied the 44th element on the periodic table. "Ruthenium is a chemical element with symbol Ru and atomic number 44. It is a rare transition metal belonging to the platinum group of the periodic table. It is a shiny, silvery metal. Like the other metals of the platinum group, ruthenium is inert to most other chemicals."

Response:
Chandra was in a fairly good mood. They planned to hang out with Elliah later that evening, so they really weren't paying attention much to what the instructor was saying...so thankfully they got nudged and reminded to pay attention. Good thing! The Imp had been daydreaming and in la la land in truth. Blinking, the sheepish look on the Junior's face was pretty obvious. Looking at the textbook that had been placed in front of them, Chandra gathered up the science related book.
Flipping open the pages, they choose at random. Landing on something called Yttrium the Imp's brow raised in consideration. Reading out loud they squinted at the textbook as they did so. "Yttrium is a chemical element with symbol Y and atomic number 39. It is a silvery-metallic transition metal chemically similar to the lanthanides and has often been classified as a "rare-earth element"." The rarest on earth? That sure sounded interesting. Chandra didn't know there was so many substances that made up the world..

Response:
Mira came to class with a somewhat positive attitude as science always seemed to be a fun class. Picking her seat before anyone else could, she immediately sat in the spot as she parked herself near the middle of the room. Not wanting to mess around and get down to business she picked out a topic and to the best of her ability read about the 47th element. Silver was a pretty metal and color! Mira loved how shiny silver was, and that it was generally smooth and soft to the touch.

Response: Mikhail wasn't very good at science, so this class was a little bit much for him. Rubbing at his neck slightly the Fallen boy reluctantly picked up a textbook to work on fulfilling the teachers request. Iridium wasn't something he'd ever heard of before, so he tried his best to read up on it so he could take good notes. Apparently it was a very hard, silvery metal. It's density was really high compared to other elements, and it's melting point was also high. Mikhail liked the fact it was extremely good at resisting being broken down through corrosion. It also didn't react to really much of anything, kinda like gold! He looked proud of himself, as he was learning about a subject he thought was hard.

Response: Zane's good mood continued well into her science class. While she wasn't really paying any real attention to her classes, she was doing her work despite that. She was allowed to daydream! The thought made her smile as she sighed softly. Okay it was time to focus up. If she wanted to move through her Junior year, she had best get on that. Her eyes fell on the textbook she was supposed to go over. What was Dubnium? She had never heard of that before. Her brows scrunched up slightly. It was apparently a highly radioactive metal, that had very rarely been made. It was not naturally occurring and was a research tool only. Science had so many purposes, it was interesting.

Fletcher licked his lips in a slight nervous fashion as he moved into the room. His tail moved behind him, not quiet dragging but it wasn't exactly lifted and swishing back and forth excitedly either. Rubbing at a tired eye, as he picked up a book to use for class from the front of the room. Nihonium was an unusual name for an element, Fletcher wasn't sure he had ever heard about it. It was a synesthetic chemical element. Its material that was highly radioactive. The 113th element had been discovered only a few years ago, and is also the most stable of the known isotopes.

Californium...... Momoko stared at the name, his brows pulled in before he tipped his head from one side to the next. Almost as if he expected the word to suddenly make sense to him. He didn't remember ever studying something about this before. It made him have to flip through the book to look for this specifically, and when he finally managed to find the page his eyes went wide. Oh.. Oh this was not a nice element.. Picking up his pencil he began jotting down all the dangers of this radioactive metal. Underlining a single sentence at the bottom of the page. 'Do not touch, will die.'
