Nope -- more slimes just kept piling on top of her.
With things going this way, the little dryad freshling would not be getting up anytime soon.

When he looked around, Quinton saw a poor dryad at the bottom of a slime pile! "Oh no!" Quin sprang up and ran over to try and help. "Hello?! Are you okay?" The boy squatted next to the pile and began to reach into the pile. He dug around, trying to find the drowning Freshling. In his worry for the other, he completely forgot about taking one of the slimes from this very pile!Mriae You don't have to go along with this, just looked like a fun idea. OTL

"Mumfmghfmfff," came the muffled response of Aurum from underneath the slimes. Once Quinton stuck his hand in, however, the dryad's tiny hand wrapped around his. She then wiggled her way out and gasped for breath, blinking in surprise that someone would try to help her. "...M'okay.." she murmured, pushing a strand of white hair away that had fallen in front of her eyes away from her face. The last thing she needed was attention drawn to her for being a slime pancake. She did appreciate Quinton's help, though; it was very nice of him! As she got up off of the ground, she totally forgot to make a grab for a slime as well.

Quin new he was close when the pile started to grumble! He pulled the other out with a grin. "Oh that's good to hear! I thought you were a gonner!" He laughed and stood up to dust himself off. "Are you tryin' to catch on of these things too?" Maybe if he worked with another person, they could catch some of these energetic little guys. Quin moved his hands to his hips as he looked around the area again. Maybe he should find a blanket to toss on one! "Do you have a blanket?" He asked as if it were a normal thing to carry around with oneself.

   Jiang huffed and grabbed at a slime, hands clapping together as they missed the flubbery thing completely. "Ugh!" he groaned, crossing his arms over his chest. This was ridiculous! He was so close to quitting, but he wouldn't, not since Kaito had one.
And then he almost sat on one in his frustration. It looked quite similar to the one Kaito had caught, and he was pleased with it and himself, finally.Pallas laughed softly as she chased after some of the slimes, careful with her claws as she snatched at them. She didn't want to hurt the little critters, she wanted to take one home.Parfait stretched out paint stained hands to grab at a particularly colorful slime, hoping to catch it but alas, it slipped right through her claws.

When Quinton asked if she had a blanket, all Aurum could do was shake her head sadly. In place of a blanket, she held up her favorite plush, which resembled a bumble-bee. "All I have is Bumble," she explained with a quiet voice. Then, out of nowhere, the dryad swung her plush by the foot and smacked right into a pink bapho slime. "I GOT IT!" she yelled, which was still very quiet given the girl's tiny stature. She then jumped on the slime and hugged it close, happy to have finally got one. "If you need help, I'll totally cheer for you." she went on to say, flashing him a smile.

"They look just like a bee! Bzzz!" Quin laughed at his own sound affect before jumping in surprise. There was a cute little slime. And it was all for her! "It's perfect for you! Congrats!" He grinned and then nodded. "I'm gonna catch a good one soon!" Quin grinned and pulled the bottom of his sweater out, planning on using it as a net of sorts.

Since the other said she would be cheering him on, Quinton was trying extra hard. Not that he was jealous, but she caught it by booping it on the head. He could totally catch one just as easy! "Maybe you can chase some toward me!" He toddled around, still holding his shirt out stretched to catch any of the stray slimes!

Aurum nodded to Quinton, and did what he suggested. She puffed herself up real big and attempted to steer some of the slimes his way! "Go on -- shoooo!"

Quinton grinned as some charged his way. "Yeah! Just like that!" With somebody's help it was much easier to hone in on the Slimes. He ran toward the Slimes running away from the Fallen. Quinton dropped down over some Slimes, sure he had caught one in his shirt. When he peaked down his shirt he huffed. "We were so close!" Quin stood up again, he pointed to a cluster of Slimes, determined to catch one. "I'm gonna go over there, if you want you can come help me look some more." Mriae If you don't wanna "help" you don't have to. orz

Freddy was still in the process of running off to seek out Nef. Since he'd been chasing slimes around in the Enoch corridors and Nef lived over in the Arkham dorms, he had a bit of ground to travel. That's why he was pleasantly surprised to run in to the very Bakeneko he was looking for halfway there. His face lit up and he put a bit more speed in his step. "Nef," Freddy called out over all the other slimes and people. He lifted the slime he held in the air, making sure to keep hold on it. "Look what I caught for you!"

Quin ran off to chase another group of Slimes. This time he squated a few feet away from them. He waited before sneaking up closer. When he was close enough he jumped toward the pile and grabbed at anything he could. Unfortunately he didn't catch one again. He huffed and started checking his pockets. Maybe if he had some snacks they would come to him!

 Pallas whirled as a lot of slimes bounced in a circle around the theatre major. She laughed and reached out, trying to catch one. This was pretty fun! She wondered if once she caught one, her slime would sit still long enough for her to read lines to it...Parfait squeaked past a senior as she tried to catch herself a slime. It was just so much cuter than the others she had seen and it was almost like it was teasing her!Hadrian snickered. This was going to be fun. He pushed his sleeves up and tried to catch himself a slime.

Well, Quinton didn't have ANY snacks in his pockets! He pouted for a second before getting up and going back to chancing any sort of Slime. He just wanted to catch one now! Oren was great, but Quin secretly wanted something that could respond to him. A Slime would be the perfect little side kick!

Aurum followed along after Quinton, and bopped any upcoming slimes with her plushie. Maybe that would get them to go in the direction of the baphomet? "No no," she called out, looking a bit saddened. "...I wanna help."iMattiebear Aurum does want to help. Mri is just slow and gets distracted.
