The Heatmor continued to look pleased. A manic glee began to spread over it's face once more, due to both the blood and the burning feeling from the acid hitting his body. Yes....YES! This was it! He was sure of it! Running forward, he then let loose the flames from h*ll and tried to once more Incinerate his opponent!~
Alice would be treated to an odd sight as she traveled deeper into the meadow. A bunch of flowers of various colours that didn't belong together swayed in the wind and rain, and seated atop each was a small, spritely Flabebe. More importantly the Pokemon seemed to be planting a large circle of mushrooms around their flowers. A Fairy Ring. Legend had it if you took a nap in one, the fairies would come and take you away to their world in order to serve them.

Incinerate Missed
Thank god, Korbin dodged the flames of incinerate as the heatmor tried to burn him to death. Well, he might not have died but it would have caused him to faint. Kiani didn't want to risk it. Sure, she had only two pokeballs with her but she was going to give capturing this pokemon a shot. Maybe she would get lucky, but she knew that one more hit and she'd be out of the fight. Reaching in her bag, she grabbed a pokeball and threw it at the heatmor.
The pokeball stayed true to it's path and smacked the Heatmor squarely on the tip of it's snout. The ball rolled back and forth frantically after the pokemon was sucked into the red light. Back and forth until it was almost spinning around. It started to slow down until finally the center of the pokeball went from red to white!~
KIANI SUCCESSFULLY CAUGHT HEATMOR~
She was now free to move onward to finish her mission on the island. Though she had already completed step one: catch a pokemon~

The ball wiggled and shook before finally going still. Kiani's eyes went wide, she had caught the heatmor. Sighing, she looked at Korbin and pressed the button on the pokeball and released her new partner. "Look, we're on the same team now and I'm going to give you a name. I'm going to call you Lucifer." She said. The heatmor said nothing, just began licking it's claws again, cleaning them. Korbin moved away from Lucifer, creeped out. "Come along then." Kiani said, walking forward. She was followed by Lucifer and Korbin. She wondered at the audacity of letting Lucifer follow freely, but she didn't want to leave him in the pokeball.

As they walked, Kiani and Korbin tried to civilize Lucifer a bit. Obviously, since he was so lonely, he had slipped into a bad state of mind. It wasn't going very well, but at least Lucifer was no longer trying to kill them both. But it was obvious that he loved battle more than Korbin and so Kiani decided that Lucifer would be her main pokemon from now on. Korbin didn't care much for battle, but he would do it. Lucifer seemed to relish the idea of fighting. Kiani sighed as Korbin and Lucifer seemed to talk to each other, and they continued on. One task down, now she just needed the photo and she'd be done.
As Argyle walked, he'd realized that the rocks on the ground were increasing in number. They stuck out of the ground, rounded slightly, and it seemed someone had tried to order them into rows. A tapping noise could be heard in the tunnel, and a sturdy Cubone approached the group. He stared at them coolly, eyes narrowed. It seemed that their reputation had spread like wildfire amid the tiny species of bone-smashing monsters, and this one had heard everything he needed to know. As a caretaker of this graveyard, he disliked those who defaced the bodies of the dead... and he would do his best to avenge them. He planted himself firmly in their path before pointing his bone right at Jekyll. No words would be spoken, but the challenge was clear.

Well that had been interesting. The girl had watched the battle and it had clearly long enough. Now the girl had three pokemon. Picking up the pokeball, she hooked it up to her belt. She'd deal with this one once they had a chance to figure things out... and she'd also need a name for him... Turning to Longwei, she patted him on the head. For this journey, he was doing a great job! But now it was finally time to continue onward. As soon as the Houndour took his position to her left, slightly ahead of her, they began to move forward once more.
It would be much easier if they could communicate with more pokemon. That way, she could figure out more about their personalities and how they acted and talked. The girl was having a slightly difficult time figuring out a name for the Shieldon as she walked.
He had seemed a bit....obsessed over itself... She remembered upon first spotting him, he was staring intently at his own reflection in the ice. Was he vain and proud? What else could she try and guess about him?
Prying the feather duster out of his mouth, Jekyll would give a fiendish snickering croak. Having no real respect for the dead, all he saw was another batter coming up to the plate to get struck out. Rolling his shoulder, the Croagunk seemed to be greatly anticipating this. Since the ghostie joined up he hadn't seen nearly enough action!
Argyle was however, as always, much more keenly aware of their surroundings. Without a word the boy would come up behind the Fighting-type, picking him up underneath the arms and carrying off. They wouldn't go far of course. The Butler had merely chosen to relocate to a more suitable battleground.
Once he was either clear of the graves, or at least in space populated sparsely enough he couldn't a marker from a pebble, the boy would place the Croagunk down. Retrieving his feather duster and removing the slobber, the boy would look then to Cubone and state "He's all yours" before wandering off to the sidelines. Kneeling down he'd actually begin dusting off the headstones. Graveyard or not, it was no excuse for poor cleaning.
Sybelle, after darting about the place pondering if any of these bodies might have been her's once, would eventually come to rest over argyle's head. Well not rest so much as floating in circles as if she were in orbit, forming a faint halo of gas.
Jekyll on the other hand just grinned from ear-hole to ear-hole, taking a stance and gesturing to the Cubone ">Come at me bro~!<"
Starter Pokemon: Croagunk [M] Name & Level: Jekyll, Lv 5 [Temperament] Naughty Bio:The story of how Argyle met Jekyll is a bit of an odd one. After purchasing a bulk shipment of skin rejuvenating mud from Sinnoh's Great Marsh (Guarnteed to take twenty years off your appearance!), Mistress Rosevelt had set aside some time for a fully immersive experience with the product, during which she received quite the surprise. It would seem the mud had come with stowaway in the form of an egg. Unfortunately it was about this same time the egg decided to hatch, splattering the aristocratic woman with muck and eggshell. After a shriek and shrill cry for the nearest Argyle to attend her, Verde arrived and was immediately ordered to dispose of the creature, although not before cleaning up the mess it had created. Whispering a snide remark just below his breath, both Mistress and Argyle were in for a surprise when the newly born Croagunk began to snicker devilishly. It seemed the Poison-type had heard the boy, and shared his sense of humor. Amused by this fact the young Butler then went about the task of convincing Mistress Rosevelt that the Croagunk would be quite useful in his regular duties, allowing him to make the manor to "shine as radiantly as you do Mistress Rosevelt". Little more in the way of convincing was required on the boy's part, and so he obtained his first and for the time being only Pokemon.
Since then Jekyll has proven a good match for Argyle, frequently snickering at the boy's comments be they made aloud, or simply implied. Unlike Argyle however Jekyll does nothing to hide his wicked nature, frequently mocking others quite openly and then laughing about it. Though cruel he is not crude, and more than willingly to amuse himself by catching the enemy off guard. Stats: HP: 7/21, PP: 22, ATK: 13, DEF: 10, SPD: 11, SP-ATK: 12, SP-DEF: 9 MOVES: - Astonish - Headbutt - Meditate - Mud-slap Held Item: EXP: 60/150
Jin-hua would find that the deeper she got into this place the colder it seemed to get; in fact it had even begun to lightly snow! Such was the weather that as the pair journeyed through the mountains they'd find a tiny Vanilite, it's blue eye's bright and full of youth, playing in the snow. Creating little balls and tossing them into the sky, only to fall back down and splatter against it's face as it giggled. Well given it was an ice-type of course that didn't hurt; but it probably wasn't something recommended for most!
It was getting a bit chilly. Well actually more then that. The cold was seeping through her thick jacket and starting to even chill her bones. She was tempted to try and have Longwei start a fire here and rest but they didn't have time to waste. She'd just have to keep going. As the pair were trekking through the snow, they noticed a pokemon playing with snow and ice. Well at least someone up here was having fun in the freezing cold.
As Jin-Hua stepped through the bottom of the pass she wouldn't be greeted by the sun, but rather a very strange light...

Cosmic Crater
You've passed through many trials to make it this far, but at last you've reached it: the island's center. Before you stretches a massive crater, the bottom filled part way with rain water; but not all is as it should be in this place. The sky doesn't look quite right, and you can't tell if you feel lighter or heavier when you step. It seems like gravity is a bit off in this place, as clouds of rubble pass you by, orbiting one of three chucks of meteorite, each massive enough to create it's own platform. One chunk sits in the dead center of the crater, floating several meters above the ground, rock and debris swirling around it and forming a haphazard sort of path. Down ]below, nestled in the crater bottom, sticking halfway out of the water is the second chunk, looking stalwart, and probably wedged into the ground. Floating high above the others is the third and final piece of the meteorite, dancing near the stars, free of whatever keeps the other two in place. To reach that one, somebody would have to take the risk of leaping between hunks of rock.
Many paths lay before you, but only one will mark the next leg of your adventure...choose wisely.
