'He's been getting stronger if he can go toe-to-toe with Surge's Raichu like this.'

Trinity mentally slapped herself remembering that Shadow didn't know that attack. Her father's Lucario knew it. "Follow that with a metal claw." She said more confidently to her mate. Dita looked back to the battle amazed at the battle going on between the two.
Shadow complied, only for the attack to once again be intercepted, this time by a Mega Punch. Fortunately, Shadow had two hands, and so he attacked Raichu's gut with his free hand... only to wince when he suddenly felt a jolt go through his arm, followed by his body seizing up slightly as Raichu's Static activated. Rex similarly watched the battle, excitement rushing though his blood as he absentmindedly stroked Dita's horn.

Trinity worried for Shadow but knew they had to finish the battle. "Come on Shadow, push through this. Try a quick attack." She said hopeful. Dita smiled at how excited Rex was at how the battle was turning out.
Shadow nodded, blurring forward in an only slightly slower than usual Quick Attack; recalling the last couple of intercepted attacks, he pretended to charge Raichu head-on at first; then, as the Raichu got ready to punch him, he suddenly vanished, reappearing behind the electric mouse and completing his attack with a Quick Attack boosted kick that sent the little guy flying. Surge smirked. "Raichu, get back on your feet and use Thunderbolt!" The mouse complied, landing on its feet and letting loose a Thunderbolt that encompassed the entire battlefield, trainers and audience excepted (though they did have to blink a few times to get the spots out of their eyes).

Trinity groaned at the bright light in her eyes, "Shadow?!" She called out as her eyes returned her vision. She quickly put on her shades. She got her eyes looking over the field. "Shadow, Dark Sphere, if you can do it." She said.
(YES!!! I am now the proud owner of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire! WOOT!!!)
Shadow nodded, focusing intently and forming a sphere of black Aura in one paw, struggling through the paralysis and ignoring the sparks coming off his body. Once it was done, he threw it forward with impressive force, the orb slamming into Raichu dead-on and knocking it out.

(*loud clapping* I need to buy Alpha Sapphire but I did beat Omega Ruby just last week. I nicknamed my Rayquza Delta and My Groudon Omega.))
Trinity shouted her praise for her boyfriend. "Oh my god yes!" She said hopping in place. Quickly though she ran over to Shadow taking out a paralyze heal. She stuck the needle in him being sure the medicine emptied in to him before taking the needle out. She then looked up to make sure Shadow was better. "Are you ok?" She asked cupping his cheeks.
(Meh, I'm probably going to name my three Leviathan, Bahamut, and Titan... still thinking on those last two, but I'm definitely naming the Kyogre Leviathan. I also have a Mudkip named Skipper. mrgreen)

He glanced over at Shadow and Trinity. "You've gotten stronger since I saved you back in Cerulean." Rex blinked, tilting his head curiously; something just seemed off about this guy... not necessarily a bad kind of "off", but definitely not the good kind either.

Aura Arsenal (Sub-Perk of Stable Aura): Due to his Aura's new stability, Shadow is now capable of manipulating his Aura, creating Aura-based attacks that do not take up moveslots. Should Stable Aura be lost or otherwise made void, this perk will be disabled as well. Techniques: - Aura Flare: Shadow flares his aura, dispelling binding/anti-escape moves (Bind, Whirlpool, Mean Look, etc.) and knocking away nearby opponents. Direct damage is negligible, however. - Aura Skate: Shadow applies Aura to his feet as a sort of padding, allowing him to glide an inch or so above the ground across both liquid and solid surfaces with speeds he normally wouldn't be able to achieve due to friction. This technique also negates the effect of slippery or sticky surfaces. However, Shadow must be in constant motion while using this technique; if he stops, the Aura padding will fail to support his body weight, and he will stop hovering. - Aura Berserker: Shadow overloads his entire body with Aura, increasing his power and speed to impressive levels and fully healing him at the cost of Defense and Special Defense; in addition, the technique has a time limit of 5 minutes, after which the strain of channeling that much Aura throughout his body will render him unconscious. Shadow nodded, following Trinity out of the Gym... and then blinked, turning around when he realized Rex wasn't following. Sure enough, Rex had allowed his curiosity to get the better of him again and was currently chattering at Dusk in his usual clueless, cheerful fashion. "Hi, I'm Rex and I like fossils. Dita was currently hiding herself behind Rex. Her instincts wanted to teleport away but she didn't want to leave Rex. She wasn't strong enough to teleport them long distance. So Dita teleported them next to Trinity. She peeked out to look at Dusk from a distance. "Shadow, I really need to heal the others." Trinity said seeing who Rex was talking to. "And I feel that talking with Dusk will delay that." She said seriously. "Though I am wondering why he is here."
Apparently Dusk heard them, because he rolled his eyes as he walked past, offering humorlessly over his shoulder, "Let's just say I have a vested interest in Shadow's development; one of me in the world is quite enough, after all." Hunter sighed softly, the Absol following after his Trainer. Shadow blinked in puzzlement, reaching out with his aura in an attempt to figure out what Dusk meant... and then stiffened in shock. 'His Aura... it's like mine before I met Trinity... only ten times as bad...' Once again, Dusk's form flickered and there was a hint of black and red, and then the mysterious trainer and his Pokémon vanished, even to Shadow's Aura sensing abilities. Behind them, Surge sighed. "That's Dusk for ya: dark jokes, intimidating presence, and cryptic comments," he noted dryly to no one in particular. "He ain't exactly a people person."
