"Yea, they are really nice people." C.T. said, with a sigh. She though about something for a moment, and grinned. "It's almost like they are just trying to lure us in with their kindness, and then boom, we are going to wake up inside of a pot of C.T. and Esther soup." She joked, or at least she hoped it was a joke, she'd really hate to end up as soup.

"And well, all of this is just weird, I've always had a hard time taking people in, as you may or may not know. So I usually try to take everything slow, person by person but," C.T. thought about all the people she had just met hours before and shook her head still smiling. "Yet today, I just let seven new people into my life, yet it feels like I've known them forever. Back at the factory, it took a while for me to be able to consider that place home." C.T. admitted. It had been hard, C.T. had been a bit of a jerk back then, very snappy. "But this place already feels like my second home."

Esther smiled. She was so happy for C.T. Assuming a C.T. and Esther soup was not in the works, Esther couldn't think of better people to welcome C.T. home. "I was worried," she admited. "I was afraid you would be disappointed. But I'm glad to hear that you're happy and comfortable with them." Then she thought of an idea, and she propped herself up on her elbow to look down at C.T. "What if we looked for a place here? Like, an appartment or something. You could live by your family, but we're not that far from the warehouse, either."

"I was afraid of that too." C.T. said, thinking of the many fears she had before finally meeting with her parents. She hadn't even been able to bring herself to leave a message on their answering machine. Again she was really glad that they were some of the nicest people she had ever met.

Esther talked about possibly moving out of her, and C.T. pursed her lips at the thought. It was an idea for sure. "That's a real big move." C.T. said. "I would love to be closer to my family. But the other need me as well." C.T. said quietly, she didn't know if it was logical to put being close to her gang over being closer to her family. But she couldn't make the separation just yet. "Maybe when everyone else moves on?"

Esther wasn't surprised by C.T.'s response, and she realized her question had been a little silly, a little rash. She just so enjoyed seeing C.T. happy, that if being near her family caused her to light up like this, then that was the only place Esther wanted C.T. to be. Well, except by her side, obviously. One thing C.T. had said had caught her interest, though. "Moves on?" she repeated, laying beside C.T. again. "What do you mean?"

"Well I'm not the only one who's had it rough, in fact some had it a bit rougher than I did all things considered." C.T said, thinking back to some of the people in the factory.

"While I was stolen away from my family and tortured, there was still always a persisting fact that I had a family out there, even if I didn't know it. And Mag always had Jennie out there to return to when this was all said and done." C.T said laying down the ground work for what she was trying to communicate, though she figure Esther was getting an idea by now. "Now let's take Jamie for example, the boy that snapped at your finger that day in the cafeteria, his powers didn't manifest until he was 15, so his parents loved him as if he was human for his entire life, until they realized what he really was, and when they did, his mother tried to drown him." C.T said, with a heavy sigh.

"Some of us have places to return to, family and friends waiting for us, and some of us don't." C.T said, it was sad, but it was the truth. "I want to be there for those who don't."

It was very sad indeed, and Esther once again began to wonder what would have happened if her powers--assuming that she did have them--had been public knowledge. She shuddered at the thought, the images becoming more real than ever now. Others hadn't been able to hide their abilities so long and suffered greatly because of it. Well, anyway, of course C.T. wanted to be there for them. That was who C.T. was, and they were her family.

"I'm just worried that..." Esther started, then paused, wanting to choose her words carefully so as to not sound insensitive. "Moving on can be, I'm sure, a very length process, and maybe even unachievable for some people." She wasn't at all trying to imply that they should be left alone for that reason, or that they were hopeless and any attempt at offering support would ultimately be wasted. But concerned that she had come off that way, she added, "I think you could still offer support from wherever you were. You would find a way. I know you would."

Esther shook her head, knowing C.T. would remain unmovable on the subject. It didn't matter, anyway. Esther didn't feel strongly one way or the other, as long as C.T. was doing what she felt was right. In the long run, Esther was just along for the ride. "Well, anyway, whatever ends up happening will happen. Whatever you feel is right is what we'll do."

"You know, you have a choice in all of this right?" C.T. asked, pursing her lips in a bit of a pout. She was glad that Esther was so supportive, always trying to help her out, but she sometimes didn't like how compromising Esther could be, she often felt like she was taking advantage of the girls kindness. "I do want to stay closer to my family in the warehouse, but if you think we would be better off somewhere else." C.T. started, placing a hand on Esther's cheek. "Just tell me."

C.T. asked, pressing a kiss to Esther's forehead. I don't want to feel like I'm making all the choices. I think a knight has to take orders sometimes right?"

Esther smiled softly and nodded. "I know, baby. And I'll make a decision about something else, but not this. This is yours." She took the hand that was on her cheek and kissed C.T.'s palm. "Before I met you, I was cutting ties with literally everything and everyone I knew. I'm not planning on ever seeing my family again, and the warehouse is more your home than it is mine, as much as I love it and the people who live there, so, really, I don't have a preference. As long as I'm living with you, I don't care."

"Don't get all mushy on me." C.T. groaned as Esther kissed her palm, she was only groaning because she knew when Esther said things like this she just couldn't help but blush and feel all warm on the inside.

"But as long as you are sure, I guess it can't be helped." C.T. added. Trying to get the blush off of her face. "I bet someone like Kia would love to visit the factory, I kind of want to introduce her to Mag. I want all of my family to meet Mag actually." C.T. said, bringing up the conversation to change the subject quickly but actually finding something she found interesting enough to continue with. "Could bring Kat as well, have her fight some of the boys around the warehouse." C.T. said jokingly.

"Hold on, Kat could be all bark," Esther said. "Guess tomorrow you'll find out if she can hold her own or not. She is pretty convincing..." Esther tried to picture a road trip with all of C.T.'s family to the warehouse. It would be... a trip, that was for sure. "Can you picture how Mag would react to meeting your family? Oh my God, you wouldn't be able to rein her in."

"Pft, doubt it, she has my blood, and us Tereschenko don't bluff." C.T said with a smirk, talking completely out of her a**, but she was pretty confident that Kat would be a somewhat competent fighter, she was a teacher after all. "Besides, she does have the benefit of being my younger sister, might cause some to reconsider going too hard on her" C.T mused, though she did wonder if that would be necessary, she supposed she'd find out in the morning.

"Can you picture how Mag would react to meeting your family? Oh my God, you wouldn't be able to rein her in."

C.T rolled her eyes. "I can imagine having to tie Mag up and locking her in a closet." C.T said honesty. She could imagine Mag being very, very, very, excited. "I think the best thing that would come from the meeting, is that my mother could teach her how to cook some Russian food."

Mag would almost definitely not let C.T. lock her in a closet. C.T. might have been the stronger of the two, but Esther couldn't see how she would win in the kind of fight Mag would drag her into. Still, the thought was amusing, and Esther grinned to herself as she climbed off of the bed and over to her suitcase. "There's no way Mag will let you lock her up, but she'll probably enjoy learning new recipes," she said. She began unceremoniously pulling off her clothes and slipping into an oversized T-shirt. "Well," she said, crawling back onto the bed and sliding under the covers. "I'm going to sleep. You joining me? You'll need your rest for tomorrow morning."

"That's why you'll need to help me out then." C.T said to Esther, grinning as she watched the girl get up and head over to her bag. She kept an eye on her while the girl began changing her clothes, feeling that as her girlfriend it was okay for her to look.

"Well,"

"Hm?" C.T sounded looking up to meet Esther's eyes instead of the mysterious edge that her over-sized shirt created. C.T wondered if she had been caught staring and wondered if that would be a bad thing, but Esther didn't comment on it, instead she let C.T know she was going to sleep. "Yea, I'll join you," C.T said, standing and stripping out of her clothes as well, she reached into her own bag and pulled out a pair of shorts and a white tee before rejoining Esther in the bed. She moved around a bit, squeezing herself right under Esther and wrapping an arm around her, kissing her softly on the temple. "Goodnight my love."

C.T. had indeed been caught staring, but knowing that C.T. had watched her undress only made Esther grin. She would let C.T. off the hook this time. Besides, now it was her turn to receive a show; there was no way she was going to look away when her girlfriend was hanging right in front of her. Any opportunity to see C.T. naked, Esther took it. She tried to be discreet, though, and looked away when she thought she might get caught. Curling up against C.T. once they were both in bed together, Esther grinned and said, "Goodnight."

When morning came--well, Esther would argue that it was far too early to be considered morning--there was a knock on the door. Esther, stirring, groaned when she realized who it was. Kat.

"Rise and shine!" the girl yelled from the other side of the door. "It's time for our match, Con--"

A second voice appeared, though it was far more hushed and sounded sterned. It seemed someone was reprimanding Kat for being so loud.

Esther flipped onto her stomach and buried her face in her pillow. "What is is with you Tereschenkos and waking up early?" she grumbled to C.T.

C.T. chuckled at Esther's grumbling as she rolled out of her bed, standing with a yawn as she walked towards the door. "It's our circadian rhythm, always in sync." C.T. said jokingly opening the door for Kat, who stood leaning against the doorway a confident grin on her face. C.T. grinned back at her sister.

"Ready to face defeat sis?" Kat asked, C.T looked her over and could see that the girl looked ready, wearing tights and a slim fitting shirt. "Hah, not likely. Honestly I'm surprised though," C.T. mused, causing Kat to raise her brow at the girl. "I didn't expect a novice to want to fight with no Gi" C.T said, Kat snorted at that. "Whatever. Is your girlfriend coming?" Kat asked, looking past C.T towards Esther who was still laying in bed. "Of course she is, and you should watch your tone before I let her tear into you." C.T joked, and Kat just snorted again, shaking her head. "Get ready, I'll meet you two downstairs." C.T waited for Kat to disappear before closing the door.

"You still awake?" C.T asked.
