Alyssa smiled and nodded starting to eat her food. "This is good" she said eating her food. She kept her hood down but at least she was wearing jeans i stead of sweat pants.

Michael smiled as he ate some of his eggs. "Glad you like it babe." He told her. He looked at her, happy that she was comfortable enough to wear jeans to school again.

Alyssa smiled and when she finished eating she washed their dishes and put them away. She kissed his cheek and grabbed her backpack.

Michael helped pick up the dishes then smiled when Alyssa kissed his cheek. He gently caught her hand and pulled her to him. He kissed her softly and held her for a minute. He then smiled and held her hand, got in his car and headed to school.

Alyssa smiled but wasnt expecting to be pulled into him. She smiled kissing him back staying in his arms and followed him to the car. She was starting to get very nervous about going to school. She was sure what to expect.

Michael could see that Alyssa was getting more and more nervous the closer they got to school. He gently squuezed her hand and smiled. "Everything will be alright." He told her softly as they arrived at school. He parked his car and got out with her. He saw a few people staring at them, but ignored it. Taking her hand gain, he smiled and headed into school with her.

Alyssa smiled softlt trying to relax when he said everything would be alright. She took a few minutes to get herself out of the car but she did and she looked at the ground feeling people staring. She held his hand and looked around making sure her stepdad wasnt around and followed him inside.

Michael looked around when they entered the school, trying to spot Alyssa's stepsister. He didn't see her yet, which he was happy about. He walked around the school with her for a bit before heading to their first class.

Alyssa walked with him staying close. She kept her head down hearing people whispering and staring. It was bad enough when she went out in public but these people knew her and saw her everyday it was a lot harder to deal with it. She walked to class and sat down very tempted to put her hood back on.

Michael could tell Alyssa felt uneasy around everyone. He was used to the whispers and the stares, but it was probably harder for her. He looked over at her, half expecting her to put her hood up, but was glad she didn't.

Alyssa kept her head down taking out her sketchbook and starting to draw trying to distract herself from everyone else. She wanted to go back to the apartment with Michael or even better to the beach where they were away from everyone.

Michael kept an eye on Alyssa as class went on, glad nothing happened. After a few hours, lunch time came around. They got their food and were heading to the empty class room when they heard someone yell. He could tell by the way she flinched that it must've been her step father. Keeping watch, he made sure to stay between her and him as he entered the cafeteria. "Is that him?" He asked her quietly.

Alyssa flinched and stiffened when she heard her step father yelling. She got up looking at him when he came towards her. She stayed behind Michael terrified about what would happen. "T-thats him" she responded trying to keep herself from shaking.

"Where the hell have you been?" He stepfather asked angrily and reached out for her. Michael knocked his hand away and blocked his path. "She's been with me." He said shortly. Her stepfather looked at him. "So your the boy I heard of. Been having your way with her?" Michael shook his head. "No I haven't. Unlike you, I don't need to force her to do something. She's actually smiled with me being around. Something I bet you can't say." He said, ignoring everyone that was staring at them.

Alyssa moved closer to Michael when he tried to grab her. She looked around at everyone staring and looked at him. "I..." she started afraid of what he would do. "I'm not going back there" she told him quietly simce she was terrified of the man.
