☽ Emma made a face after Herald placed his hand on her head "Well yeah I got that much..." she said with a shrug. She would consider herself lying if she thought she could be able to take down Herald in his Kishin form. She wasn't at that level yet. Emma was designed to take out humans in many different ways, not kishin. She was building up her strength but at the cost of being beaten to a pulp almost every time she fought him. She wouldn't complain though. Emma would have been mad if she saw that Herald was going easy on her and let her win. ☾

Never Again...Herald lowered his hand as Emma responded. "You'll get stronger," he told her almost as if he could read her thoughts. The spirits slowly floated back into the fortress, going about whatever errands they had been running before. Herald watched them go for a moment before looking back to Emma. "The Demons have no idea what they're in for."Will I be bound in chains

☽Emma muffled a giggle before reaching up and kissing Herald on the cheek "What now then?" she asked once she went back down to her height. She had read most of the day as well as trained with Herald, for the time being she was unsure as to what to do to keep herself occupied. ☾

Never Again...Herald reached down and picked up Emma so she was eye level with him, kissing her on the lips. "We could go back to bed," he suggested, knowing there would be a little more time before the assault against Divine would be launched. He could feel it drawing closer. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald returned her smirk as he carried her into the fortress, through the halls and up the winding staircase to their bedroom. When they reached it, he tossed her onto the bed and leaned over her, bending down to kiss her passionately. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald continued kissing Emma as he slowly pulled back and removed his jacket, tossing it onto the floor beside the bed. He leaned down and unbuttoned her shirt, letting it fall open before putting his arms back around her. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald stepped out of his pants and undid Emma's skirt, letting it fall to the ground as he got into the bed with her, moving her up with him. He began kissing her neck now that they were spread out across the bed. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald gave Emma a smile. "I love you too..." he said as he paused in kissing her. He went back to kissing her as he pulled the covers over them both. [[time-skip an hour]] Herald lay in bed, holding Emma against him, his breathing slowly returning to normal. "You're getting better," he told her teasingly, squeezing her gently as he glanced over at her. Will I be bound in chains
