Hmm...I don't think I can exactly claim to be new to this guild, in fact I think I've been in it for a very long time, more than a year, possibly even two. Sadly I've never been very active (I'm like 99% sure I never even introduced myself here before) and that announcement related to almost nothing concerning me (other than inactivity) had me feeling rather guilty so I felt I'd at least say hi.

Haha, ok last time drama (not even my own) chased me out of this guild (my flight or fight mechanism is very hardwired to flight). In fact drama often chases me away from guilds/role plays/etc - and only recently with the last one was I finally even involved in the arguing. I am obviously cursed so if I vanish into obscurity soon after this post (again) - know why.
Ok enough unrelated rambling.
You can call me JK or whatever. You can call me just about whatever you want (just let me know you are referring to me, I'll tend to only look to respond to JK).
Favorite character - Seto, gosh I love him. As for those who love to insult him I love that too, that's hilarious. I love when my characters are abused (hence my love of noncon adoptshipping - I'll say my pairing is pride, but really that's only b/c I can find a lot more of that than my creepy primary love). After that I love Yami Yugi, Pegasus, Otogi, Bakura, Ryou. Then Jou and Mai. Do not like Yugi (don't hate him, just don't like him), Honda (so boring), and Anzu (so annoying).
I will go back and forth between English names/Japanese names. I'm more familiar with English names but scary people yelling at me tends to drive me to randomly use Japanese names for characters that I've obviously had discussions with scary/crazy people on. rofl
I like debating, I like crack, I have found role playing fun but I'm rather inexperienced (due to my curse *makes ghost noises* ^_~). If the art is of good quality or funny than even if I don't like the pairing I'll probably like it. I could probably even role play subjects/characters I don't like (in fact that's primarily all I have roleplayed, gosh, in fact I dunno if I could roleplay something I like, that would be new!! rofl ).
I have not played any video games, I've only played the card game a couple of times with a now ex boyfriend (but still friend). My enjoyment of the series is primarily based on the anime (yes that awful dub!!!) and the manga (though frankly I like the anime better, usually anime tends to have less detail and richness but with YGO I find the reverse to be true).
I am a leo, I enjoy long walks on the - hahaha ok I'm totally kidding (well actually I'm not, but I'm kidding about the whole going there thing). I talk (type) WAY too much. If you don't shut me up, I won't shut up - unless I vanish. As of current I have really no guild - that is active at any rate - so hey, maybe I'll try to hang around here for awhile. We'll see. It's hard to fight a curse you know...^_~.

Hey, welcome back to the guild JK! Please forgive me if I'm wrong, but I vaaaguely remember you, I think mostly posting in a few of the discussion threads here and there... sorry my memory is so bad! But it's great to have you back! You don't need to feel guilty for inactivity though. XD;; Stuff like that happens.
I apologize for any drama that might've scared you off in here. >_o Unfortunately, drama is something that is often unavoidable in larger guilds, and even more so in small-ish ones, I find. I especially apologize for any of the drama I may have contributed myself, as I'm sure I was involved in it. Things have been pretty peaceful here as of late though, so I hope you find your stay comfortable this time!
Oh joyous jubilations, another Kaiba fan who loves poking fun at him! <3 We've actually been forming a sort of unofficial, "let's make fun of Kaiba" club of sorts here lately. You should fit in just fine. XD Heehee, noncon Adoptshipping is so evil... I think we'll get along just fine. >D
You're also free to use the dub or Japanese names in this guild. Though most of us tend to use the Japanese names, we all know who you're talking about either way, and if anyone yells at you for using the dub names, I'll make sure they stop.
Sadly, our roleplaying forum has been dead for quite some time, but feel free to start a new one if you wish! If you need a partner, I would be happy to join you, as I'm sure other guild members would be.
Anyway, long posts are awesome in my opinion, so go ahead and talk away! I hope you are able to find yourself sticking around this guild for a bit at least. Enjoy!

Yea, actually you'd possibly remember my other avi better - TwistedMindInc, twas in a different guild (the atypical YGO one) and I did talk to you more there. In that chat room role play with me, you and Akila that never actually started up (though there was a long discussion about fox tails) - due to - well drama. Which sucks because that probably woulda been fun. I just sat here torturing myself rereading that entire 11 page convo. Anyhow I totally don't blame you, I don't blame anyone. That's just the way the cookie crumbles I guess.
For now I'm trying to apply to grad school (and hoping drama will resolve and my other role play can start up again - though slowly losing hope), plus having some net issues, so I'm not desperate for role playing at the moment (wouldn't say no if it came up but not seeking it out). But yay Kaiba bashing, I will definitely try to get in on that.

Hehe, HEY GHOST!!!
Don't worry, I don't expect anyone to jump on adoptshipping with me, I'm just fine being creepy alone 4laugh . Heck it was a weird accident finding I even liked it. Though that's been true of most of my pairings in series after I branch off my first and/or main. I also discovered I like OtogixKaiba (haven't gotten around to looking up the name for that) - something I've never considered until a month ago when I dreamt it - my only anime dream (that I remember anyhow) to date too. SO RANDOM! But it was kinda hot I have to say ^_~
I will also try to make myself known - tomorrow as I'm very tired right now (long day of work at my one job and don't know if I'll have work tomorrow at my other job, the joys of on call).
I wouldn't know how to start one either, but yea if a RP appears, especially crack (who doesn't love a good crack break to distract from life's drama ^_~ - which I'm randomly happy to report is clearing up a bit as of tonight) I'd love to jump in.
And now I will shut up!

I'm wierd with my pairings.. when I first got here(which wasn't too long ago) I remember saying something along the lines of I don't really ship anything, but then I said I ship a few things and now I ship a lot of pairings... I think it just depends on my mood, the day, the weather, the position of Jupiter in the solar system.......
It's called mastershipping♥ I find myself to be a fan of it recently as well~<3

XD I always loved your username, but actually, I was vaguely remembering your current account from past posts in this guild I believe, and didn't realize you were the same person as TwistedMindInc. XD I wish we would've started that roleplay though; it seemed so fun. Since people are expressing interest in a roleplay in this guild, and since you said you're interested in crack ones, maybe I'll steal the chat room idea and set that up here... I'll make an announcement or something if I ever end up getting to it. XD;; Ooh, but the drama in that guild was not fun... I don't think I could bare to go reread that conversation. >_o

I love Mastershipping... it's like... they're both so seme, those characters, but it would just work with the two of them, even if they would hate each other. XD Though I admit I got into Otogi/Kaiba through Kaiba/Jounouchi/Otogi fics... I still prefer either of them with Jounouchi, but any combination of the three is great with me. wink
@Ghost: It's probably a good thing to change your pairing preferences so often, because then you've always got a fresh opinion to work with. XD

And thanks for the pairing name! Yea it's just kinda smexy isn't it?
@Kitsune - yea I'm pretty sure I've posted with JK around here but it's been so long. I fail. Yes I and TMI are one and the same, haha. She was suppose to be a slave account but nowadays it's about as main as this one is for me. And yea that thread itself doesn't have any of the drama luckily, it just dies off - which is sad. But it was kind of funny to reread, fun to look back at lighter times arguing about trivial things.
That would probably be an easy type of role play to set up, and would allow people to come and go easily (they'd just have to log off). Not going to push for it now but it would be fun to do that one day. I was really disappointed that it never got going.
Yay love of mastershipping!!!
Ok and now I'm going to go force myself to post somewhere besides the intro thread - even if it's just random rambling nothingness!!!

It's funny how mules seem to end up doing that. I've made two mules, but I never end up going on either of them. ~_~;; I just can't get into the mule thing for some reason.
Yeah, that thread was pretty happy, as I remember. I believe there were good reasons for it dying off, if I'm getting the timeline right, but if you want to know what, I'm afraid I'd rather discuss it through PM. >_o Er, anyway, never said this before, but if anyone in this guild ever wants to PM me and we're not friends, I don't accept PMs from non-friends, because of how much spam I was getting from random people. So if you ever want to PM me about the guild or whatever, just friend request me first, and I'll accept as long as I know who you are. And if I reject you, it's because I have a horrible memory and probably thought I didn't know you, so then just post on my profile and yell at me for it! XD;; Sorry about the annoying process.
Ooh, now talking about it though, I definitely wanna set that roleplay up. =D Maybe I'll get to it this week even... it would also be easy to keep up, because you could do double posts if people stop posting like, "...where is everyone lol?"

Haha, I think my mule took over b/c I dunno, this account felt like "me" and at first I was kinda awkward about being me online - never really got into online networking before. The slave felt like some alter ego so it was easier to talk and open up. Once I got comfortable talking and opening up I wanted to go back to this being my primary account but by then most of the guilds I'm in/people I talk to were connected to my other account. Ah well, the price I pay for being weird ^_^.
And nah I don't want to drag up the past or bad memories or anything. But I will remember to add you if I ever need to PM you... 4laugh
Definitely let me know if/when that roleplay happens, I would very much be interested.

Well, it is a bit strange, but at least your method of strangeness makes sense. XD But it's good that it helped you open up more on this account. :3 I'm not too comfortable with being my 'real' self online either. I don't feel like I'm really pretending to be someone else on this account, but I rarely give out my real name or picture to online friends, and I refuse to join Myspace or Facebook or whatever. I don't like people being able to track me down with those... *is paranoid*

If I set up the roleplay, I'll either post an announcement in this forum or send a full one out to guild members *is loving the new announcement system Gaia made*. What do you think would be better to do, because I know there's a lot of inactive members who would probably just be annoyed getting such an announcement, but others who would be interested might miss it if I just post a thread. >_o

I think if inactive members were truly annoyed by announcements they would just get off their butts up and quit the guild already. I think even those who aren't interested in the roleplay would just glance at the announcement and click it closed without any ruffled feathers. And a full announcement might just inspire some people back into the guild - I mean hey the last full announcement you put out is what got me back in here 4laugh
So yes, I vote full announcement!

Hello I have been interested in YuGiOh since high school but I never had the chance to actually enjoy it as much as others have. So finally after all these years I am attempting to get into it. And what better way to do so then to join a guild, hopefully I wont be too much of a newb.
My favorite characters are Bakura (both but the sweet one mostly), Kaiba, Pegasus, Mai, Jounouchi, Honda, Mokuba, Shizuka...I like a lot of characters. But am starting to grow mostly fond of Kaiba, hes a bad a**!

Hello Karma!! Je m'appelle JK...and no I won't speak bad french at you, haha. Welcome to the guild! And yay embracing interests late in life! It was also post HS where I really started getting more into the enjoyment of YGO. Of course TAS (the abridged series) makes that enjoyment even better.
I myself am also a huge Kaiba fan, although I've never quite thought to specifically slash him with money. Though I can see it, in fact it's probably the only pairing that makes any sense ^_~.
We kind of have this chatroom roleplay that recently started (that I kinda pushed, pushy me!! razz ) going on. You could totally hop into that if you wanted to, it's really informal, just go to the RP subforum, hit the Chatroom thread and see what characters are taken and pick someone else, maybe someone who can totally misspell things and then your spell checker can totally fail and it's cool (I shall disappoint you now, Kaiba is already MINE! Haha, in this one crazy case I made sure to nab him, since I always let more "experienced" roleplayers take him in more "serious" things).
Uhh yea, sorry to write an essay at you. Just got back from a wedding and feeling all verbose and such...oh who am I kidding, I also ramble on too much. Apologies in advance for that ^_~.
Anyhow welcome again, hope you stick around for awhile!! People kinda vanish in and out with their busy busy lifestyles, but this is still the most active guild I've been in lately so yup I am a fan 3nodding .
